Sep 30, 2025Beautiful Resort and Beach
We recently stayed at the Westin Hapuna Beach for our 25th anniversary. We were impressed with the beauty of the beach as well as the cleanliness of the hotel and the hospitality provided by the staff. Ample areas to sit and relax, take in the stunning scenery. The room was beautiful and we were graciously upgraded to a room with a view and a sweet bottle of champagne to celebrate! Watching the sunset from the balcony was bliss. I especially enjoyed the ability to snorkel right in front of the resort with the free snorkel gear provided. We also rented a kayak for an hour, which was also nice. We ate at Naupaka Grill for lunch poolside. It was good! I especially loved grabbing a pastry and latte each morning from Piko and taking it down to the beach while I read and sunbathed. Total relaxation and enjoyment! Would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat! We felt very pampered and treated like VIPs!

Amazing Stay on the Big Island
We just checked out from our stay here and are sad to go because we had such an amazing stay. The resort is beautiful and the amenities are nice as well. Our room was spacious and while it was listed as a partial ocean view, I thought it was spectacular. We also encountered numerous staff who were so kind and made our stay. Jhene at check in was so kind and sweet and made us feel so welcome and at home. At Ikena every morning for breakfast, Marimar, Krystal, Ginger, and Maddie were a joy to see everyday and always had friendly and smiling faces. Charlie at the omlette station also was so nice to see every morning. The free guest laundry was a nice touch as well. All in all we would stay here again in a heartbeat next time we are on the big island.

Beautiful Ocean Views
Beautiful resort at a great location. The beach is absolutely beautiful next to it. The resort has expansive ocean views and our room had great ocean views well. Beautiful grounds, great service and good food. The breakfast buffet was excellent (Marriott Platinums only get a limited version of it for free). Overall enjoyed this place.

The getaway we needed
My wife and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at Westin Hapuna. The room is very spacious and has all the upscale amenities you imagine that come with staying at a Westin. The 2 highlights of our weekend were relaxing at the Adult pool overlooking Hapuna beach & dinner at Meridia. The food at Meridia was delicious, and had nice presentation but I highly recommend the Octopus starter.

Beautiful beach, nice hotel
We had a wonderful stay at the Westin Hapuna Beach Resort during our two weeks on the Big Island. Our room was comfortable and perfect for our family of four. The beach was absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful, delicious, and a great way to start each day while enjoying the amazing views. The family pool was a big hit, and we loved that there were usually shaded chairs available both by the pool and on the beach. Housekeeping kept everything spotless, and the valet team was outstanding—always quick and efficient in getting our car ready so we could head out and explore the island. All in all, this was the perfect home base for our Hawaiian adventure, and we’d happily stay here again! 🌴☀️
