Look elsewhere. Not so all-inclusive
We are here on the property, currently. The woman who checked us in was downright rude. Although we booked an all-inclusive vacation for $800+ per night, we are prohibited from using one of the on-site pools and from having breakfast at one of the restaurants. We are allowed only one-towel, per person, at the pool. Seriously. Some of the restaurants are open only three nights per week. The meals, thus far, have been average, at best. My sea bass, at the Mangler, was two bites of fish surrounded by raw vegetables. After three attempts to get a full-size ironing board (two by phone and one in person), it finally arrived. After three attempts to receive more coffee cups, they have yet to arrive. The same three tries for a lamp for our living-room area resulted in a promise. Yes, it was acknowledged that there is no overhead lighting there. But … no table lamp has been forthcoming. There is nowhere to have a nice leisurely sit-down breakfast, and the buffet is truly uninspiring. Hot water, in the shower, is elusive. This is my third stay at an all-inclusive resort. This one wins no awards. Go elsewhere.

Amazing Vacation
Costa Rica is such a beautiful country. My Fiance and I came with SRS on a business vacation. Are trip was amazing. The resort was beautiful. The rooms were clean, the staff was very nice, and the service was excellent. When we would leave for the day, are room would get cleaned and always left with something extra, like a puppy dog folded out of towels. There are so many things to do. We ventured out on to the beach and spoke to the locals. We booked an excursion to Leona Falls with Eric G, which was one of are favorite memories of the trip! We also got massages, twice 🤣, with Kelly in the green tent. They were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend visiting the Westin, and mingling with the locals. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic Stay!
We had a fantastic stay at the Westin Reserva Conchal! We booked a 6-night stay in the Family Club through Costco, which included van transport to and from the hotel; a nice to feature to heave as the hotel is about an hour and half from the airport. We were very impressed with the Westin – it is very spread out and most rooms are far from the lobby, although the hotel has complementary golf cart transportation that are easy to hail and book when needed. Service throughout our stay was fantastic – from check-in to housekeeping to bartenders to restaurant staff, everyone was friendly, approachable, and extremely accommodating. The pool is great (very large with plenty of seating), and the beach is beautiful and very easy to access. There is also plenty of wildlife on hotel property (monkeys, iguanas, etc.) which was really cool! We overall really loved our room, although we had booked a King Bed room and were instead given a 2 double bed room, and the hotel was fully booked while we were there so we were unable to switch to a different room. But the rooms are incredibly spacious and very clean, with top-notch housekeeping. If we were to travel again, I think I would just opt for a regular room as opposed to the Family Club room, as it didn’t provide too many additional benefits and the rooms seemed the same as non-Club rooms. For food, we really enjoyed most of the restaurants on the property, and found the process of booking online reservations through the Westin app fairly easy. Food was above average for an all-inclusive, and there was a very good selection with many cuisine types represented. One negative is that the allergy guide on each menu isn’t the most accurate; one member of our traveling party had a severe tree nut, peanut, and shellfish allergy, and we found the menus to frequently have allergens mis-labeled or omitted all together. However, the restaurant staff was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. For excursions, we had read many other online reviews that suggested booking via Erik G, who you can find waiting at the entrance to the beach from the hotel (always wearing a blue shirt). Erik had fantastic excursions at better prices than the companies working out of the hotel lobby, or if booking via Viator online. We booked 2 full-day excursions through Erik and he was even able to arrange for us to have the same guide/driver for both tours when we requested this. We pre-booked with Erik prior to arrival (easy to reach via WhatsApp). Would highly recommend! Overall, we had a fantastic stay at the Westin and would highly recommend this property. We are already planning a return trip!

Love Costa Rica
Spent 5 nights here with the family. Very well maintained facility and saw abundant wild life on site (monkeys, iguana and even an armadillo). Shuttle service onsite was very convenient, pool was great for the kids and staff were extremely friendly. Food was ok but it's an all inclusive resort so meets the standard. Overall, Fantastic experience.

Amazing week @Westin!!!!!
Had a fabulous week at the WESTIN RESERVA CONCHAL BEACH!! Stayed in family suite AI. Very spacious and comfy beds. In bldg 7 close to everything. Spacious clean pool, fun water aquatics every AM. No problem finding a chair anytime. Of course best ones along edge were claimed early. Beach absolutely beautiful with waves can be big. If calm, water is clear go snorkel rocks to right saw 4 puffers, reef fish, and two small eels. Could always get a chair an umbrella from attendant had stacks of them at beach entrance. Activity ctr also have kayaks and paddleboards. Sadly no sailboats. Restaurants very good each with their own special drink menu. Go on Mariott experience app at 8 am to make booking. Never had any problem getting reservation. There are other a la cart restaurants that do not need reservation faisinella and sabana(costa rican food was our favorite) and mitra market buffet. We had so many nice servers. Howler monkeys made it sound like in Jurasic park and put on a show climbing the gutter chains to roofs and then launch into trees. Iguanas everywhere. We booked 3 excursions thru Erik G blue google shirt at beach entrance a week before arrival via whatsap +50683659046. He coordinated memorable day trips via private shuttle. Did a zipline, 2 mile guided hike up to waterfalls with water crossings and into a cavern with falls, and tubing with guides another river. Included delicious costa rican lunch. The day just kept getting better and better! Stop at a huge souvenir store. Also did another day short walk to falls for a swim, coffee/cocoa tour, and sloth sanctuary with another delicious costa rican lunch. And did a sail, snorkel sunset cruise. Erik coordinated great trips and good commo on what to expect/bring, all with private shuttles/drivers. This was the best vacation ever, loved Costa Rica, all the people we met from housekeeper Rosemery, shuttle drivers, guides, numerous waiters were super nice, friendly, happy and helpful. We will defintely return to the Westin and soon!! PURA VIDA until next time.
