    • 1 cable from the Living Room (Lobby área) to Zona Azul Beach Club at the Beach level.

    Zipline is a cable line that goes from a metallic structure (usually towers) from one point to another point. A canopy involves the cable line being anchored to the tree canopy. In the case of the experience of this new amenity it is a mix between both.
    It is a medium-moderate intensity tour for people aged from 5 years onwards.
    From the beginning to the end of the experience is designed to last 2 hours. Clients are picked up from the hotel lobby, and the tour takes place in the dry forest at our resort. Just 15 minutes shuttle.
    Guests must book at the Swiss Travel counter that is enabled in the lobby of the hotel. Or by phone(506) 2654 3512.

    Prior reservation is required to do the tour.

    Overall nice stay

    To start. This resort is beautiful. The grounds are nice. The golf course looks pleasant and the pools are great. We stayed on the club side in tower 2 and the rooms were perfect. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is huge. We had a second smaller bathroom as well. The air conditioning is perfect. The weather could not have been better. The club pool is really nice. If you have any issues your best bet is to find Javier. That guy knows how to solve a problem and make the rest of your club pool experience great! Our concierges were Jeffery and Ariel. Both very nice and always available. Super nice and gave us suggestions here and there. The best two places for dinner are Bamboo and the tapas place which is in the main hotel lobby. The other places are just okay. The entertainment is not great. Not even the Michael Jackson show… we left early each night. The Vivien Full Band was the absolute best!! Stay for her!!!!! The spa was pretty great! The WiFi was terrible. They use paper cups at all the pools and they don’t hold up well so bring your own cups. We had some aggravating experiences the cost 24 hours but management stepped in and fixed everything and the remainder of our stay was nice.

    I travel a lot and this was the worst experience. Customer service was terrible (no hot water for the first 3 hours when we checked in, after traveling all day). Money was stolen from my room (the don't disturb sign was placed on my door). The food was not what I expected. I contacted Customer Service with my complaints & they were never addressed. Choose a different resort to stay!!!

    Amazing vacation

    Wonderful time! Resort was beautiful. Quiet and relaxing. Staff were friendly and helpful. We went fishing and the chef at Manglar prepared the tuna for us. Beautifully presented and delicious. We were able to connect with a local tour guide Eric G (had on a blue Google shirt) on the beach and had an amazing tour to a waterfall, rain forest and cocoa/coffee farm. We saw several slots, frogs, and a pit viper. We'd definitely book another tour through him. Looking forward to a return visit soon!

    Perfect honeymoon

    Wow this resort is just beautiful and the service is great! My husband and I spent the last chunk of our honeymoon in Costa Rica here and we are so happy we did. We paid more for the Westin club which is 21+ and I highly recommend that! You have access to their club lobby which has a self serve bar and coffee. You also then have access to the adults only pool which is so much more relaxing than the other pool. I recommend saving your chair at the pool no later than 9am to get a good spot. Our room was so clean and beautiful and we loved the stand alone tub! When you stay in the Westin club you have a concierge and Jeffery was the best!! Anything you need they will take care of you but Jeffery anticipated our needs which was amazing! All of the restaurants were pretty good we really loved the Mediterranean one for dinner and the burgers at the imperial sports bar were soooo good! We got lucky enough to see monkeys our first two days there as well. Lastly, I would suggest you uber to tamarindo it’s about 30 minutes away a super cute beach town! Overall a 10/10 experience we would come back!

    Excellent Service

    This was a great vacation. We spent 8 days at Westin and we had numerous options for food. The staff is very friendly, incredible and attentive. These are several food options available and we enjoyed the buffet meals and menu items. The room service was the best I ever had. The food was hot and delicious. They also set up the room for our birthday . That was nice and the cake was delicious. There are golf carts that take you around the property and there are daily activities. The resort was clean, pool is nice and quiet, close to beach and the rooms were well maintenance. Take a chance on this hotel, I promise you will not be disappointed. Thanks Westin:)
