    Zipline is a cable line that goes from a metallic structure (usually towers) from one point to another point. A canopy involves the cable line being anchored to the tree canopy. In the case of the experience of this new amenity it is a mix between both.
    It is a medium-moderate intensity tour for people aged from 5 years onwards.
    From the beginning to the end of the experience is designed to last 2 hours. Clients are picked up from the hotel lobby, and the tour takes place in the dry forest at our resort. Just 15 minutes shuttle.
    Guests must book at the Swiss Travel counter that is enabled in the lobby of the hotel. Or by phone(506) 2654 3512.

    Prior reservation is required to do the tour.

    OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE and AMAZING SERVICE!

    The resort was amazing and the people who work there are incredible! We were treated like VIP's! Every person we encountered went above and beyond to help us and cater to us. So genuinely kind, eager to please and happy people! Special shout outs to: ERICK at the pool activities center who did a great bike tour - super sweet and funny, high energy and interesting and really knowledgeable and smart. So hard working! SAMUEL at the pool activities center was great too - really helpful and nice. The staff at Faisonella, our favorite restaurant, became like best friends for the trip!!! DAYANNA O. was beyond amazing!!! My daughter had special food needs and DAYANNA went above and beyond - so caring and kind and meticulously got all our special orders correct - often going to other restaurants at the resort to get the various foods that were not at the kitchen in her restaurant! It was truly amazing and so appreciated! The same was true for her fantastic colleagues: LAURA , PAOLA, RACHEL and Freedier too!!! All went above and beyond to accommodate our very specific orders. NELSON our concierge at the The Westin Club tower 2 was outstanding!! SO nice and catering too. At the pool at the Westin Club we absolutely loooved and so appreciated all the help GRAIVIN gave us every day at lunch - even bringing our final lunch to the room for us on our last day to save us time as we rushed to pack up and leave! He was so great at his job! A really impressive and great person. Also at the pool bar- we really liked: Emerson and Brian Z. Emerson made my daugher healthy drinks and was so accomodating. ZENITH at the room service staff also went above and beyond. The resort is beautiful. Immaculately clean. The wildlife is so special - we had the best time!!!!

    Magnificent vacation at the Westin Reserva

    We were at the Westin Club and the rooms were large, had a very nice balcony. The beds are extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and modern. It was a long trip through small towns and took about 1 to 1-1/2 hours. We did not stop and went directly from airport. We entered at the beautiful to the hotel. We were greeted warmly by the employees who took our luggage and got our large family transported to our rooms. The staff was, especially Steven was extremely helpful in getting us settled in. The Westin property is magnificent, well designed and easy to navigate. We loved being at the Westin Club and thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the service given at the pool bar and grill. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Bugs in the room and terrible service

    As someone who has generally had positive experiences at Westin hotels, I was severely disappointed. I visited this resort in mid December 2025 and the first night, I saw spiders and other bugs crawling all over the shower and toilet areas (see attached photos). I went with my wife and toddler, and because toddlers don't show restraint, I wasn't able to bathe him. We asked for the area to be sprayed our first day there. Maintenance came while we were getting ready for the day and had our do-not-disturb sign on, and so they left -- which is reasonable. However, when I called the front desk and said we'd be gone for the day, they said they'd take care of the bugs. They did not. When I called later that day and spoke to Carlos, he said it was because we had our do not disturb sign on, but we did not have it on after we told them to come. The bugs were even worse in the bathroom and we could not shower. I left a message on Marriott's site citing the problem. Our third day there, we called AGAIN and asked for the staff to spray. I also got an email from someone named Brayan, the front desk assistant manager, saying he tried to call me. When I tried to call him back, I learned the phone line was disconnected. I emailed him saying this was the case and never heard from him again the entire trip. There was also confusion from the staff as to whether the room was sprayed or not the previous day (it clearly had not been). We went to a wedding that day and that night, the bugs were still there! So we couldn't bathe the kid again. Wow. We paid for three nights at a "high-end" resort with a shower we couldn't fully use. That is unacceptable for a Motel 6 -- let alone a Westin. They did spray on the 4th day, but my wife also encountered some other problems on property. For example, my wife was served a burger from a woman who picked her nose before serving it to her. A man who was meant to drive a golf cart transporting our family to another part of the resort was staring into our window while we were getting dressed (we closed the curtains immediately once we saw that). We had opened up a case number 778248154 but never heard anything back. If you're deciding whether to go on a vacation somewhere and want cleanliness and good service, go somewhere else and choose a non-Marriott property. As a Gold Elite member, I'm incredibly disappointed.

    Wonderful stay but set expectations accordingly.

    Great location and overall amenities. However, definitely not a 4+ star experience. Many wonderful hard working staff but little things you expect at this price are missing. E.g., broken ice machine, no towels when pool opens, and very dismissive/unhelpful concierge. Also, the app that works “ok” if the only way to book dinner reservations which you need to be on right at 8 am or you’ll be unable to eat at 2 of the onsite restaurants. No flexibility or onsite staff help w booking even for birthdays, etc.

    Beautiful property.

    My husband & I are in our 60's visited the resort for 11 nights the 2nd & 3rd weeks of December. Room & Property: This is a beautiful property. Iguanas and howler monkeys can be seen everywhere. Lot's of walking but few hills. You can always take a shuttle to where you want to go. Beach is a bit of a walk but well worth it, it is beautiful. Snorkeling is not bad at the far end by the rocks. I took my own snorkel set, check ahead to see if they have them available for guests. We stayed in Tower 1 of the Adult Westin Club. Room was a good space although a little dark. Lighting could be upgraded. We had a nice view of the pool. Elevator is available. Nice to have the adult only pool, very relaxing. Concierge is always available to help. Talk to them they are very helpful. Download the Marriott Experience App which you will need for reservations & resort info. Activities; Lots of them. Good variety, take advantage. Tip: If you play pickleball they have courts, but won't let you reserve a court or use their racquets unless you are a foursome. Take your own racquet and you can just go & see if there is anyone on the court you can play with. They have a tournament once a week. The Ap will show you the days activities. Some require reservations. Food & Beverage: Hit & miss. Every restaurant is managed differently, service & food quality varies. Advantage to staying at the Westin Club you have access to Faisanla dining room exclusively for breakfast & lunch. Each restaurant has a different cocktail menu. I asked for a cocktail I had at the Italian restaurant while at the main lobby bar and they wouldn't make it. That being said we didn't go hungry or thirsty. Tip; If you have an early morning flight out or tour, Mitra opens at 6:30 & will provide you with a takeout container & cutlery to take with you. Faisania will do the the same for Westin Club members. Several restaurants are reservation only, make your reservations at 8 AM when the platform opens up or you may miss out. Employees: Excellent staff. All of them. Always asking about our stay & can they help with anything. Although we did not have children with us the resort had a lot of families and it appeared they were having lots of fun. Would recommend.
