Serenity, Thoughtfulness, and Genuine Upscale Hospitality
A peaceful and thoughtfully cared-for experience The St. Regis Kanai, Riviera Maya is a truly special place. The architecture blends beautifully with nature, and there’s a genuine connection to the land and the Mayan cosmology that you can feel throughout the property. There’s a constant sense of calm and balance. The amenities are excellent, but what stood out most was the kindness and professionalism of the team. Thank you to Eduardo, Joselyn, and Erika at the front desk for your warm welcome; to Mohamed from Concierge for always being attentive; to David Martínez from housekeeping for his impeccable care; to Aldo and William at the spa for their thoughtful presence; and to Guadalupe and Darwin at Chaya for making every morning a joy. It’s the kind of place you want to return to.

Wonderful Anniversary Weekend at the St. Regis
My husband spent the weekend at the St. Regis Kanai to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We used DMC Maritur for our arrival/departure airport transfers, which were arranged by the St. Regis. The transfers were very pricey, but the transfers were on time and the vehicles were extremely clean and comfortable. I communicated with the St. Regis staff beforehand via email about setting up the included in room dining experience that was part of the package I had booked via Marriott Bonvoy. Each email I sent was responded to quickly and efficiently. From the moment we arrived to the property, the service we received was exceptional. Joselyn helped us check in and she immediately acknowledged that it was our 10th wedding anniversary. She thoroughly explained the hotel’s amenities and immediately called our butler Dali so that he could arrange a golf cart to take us to the lunch restaurant, Riviera. Our room wasn’t ready upon check in so we had lunch at Riviera. Make sure you try all the tacos at Riviera too, they’re amazing! I would also recommend the El Diablo cocktail at Riviera. Once our room was ready, our butler Dali messaged us on WhatsApp and met us at Riviera to take us to our suite. We stayed in a St. Regis suite with a private pool and ocean view. We stayed in room 127 which was centrally located but was also more private due to its location. The room was absolutely stunning and was larger than depicted in pictures. The suite includes a huge living room with a flat screen TV, dining area and wet bar, a half bath, a full closet, a huge main bathroom, and a gorgeous bedroom overlooking the mangroves. As mentioned our suite included a private pool, which was much larger than the plunge pools located in many of the other first floor rooms. As part of the package I booked, flowers, prosecco and chocolate covered strawberries were left for us, which we enjoyed. We also enjoyed the romantic dinner that was provided to us on the patio in our room. The dinner is multi course and the portion sizes are generous, so if you opt for a private dining experience come hungry with an appetite. I was full by the end of the dinner as I didn’t realize how much food was included. I also have to give a shout out to the attendant that was with us during the private dining experience, Fernando. He was so thoughtful and kind. Both my husband and I enjoyed our conversations with him. Fernando told us about the raccoons indigenous to the area and as we were enjoying our dessert, a raccoon climbed up on the side of the pool to take a quick peek at what sweet treat we were eating! It was a fun surprise! The breakfast at Chaya was also included for us and the spread was massive. We especially enjoyed the traditional Mexican food they offered. Make sure to try the handmade quesadillas that are prepared to order. The tamales were also phenomenal. Our waiter Ezequiel even brought us complimentary mimosas one morning after learning we were celebrating our anniversary. Other recommendations: - try the complimentary Mexican coffee tasting. The coffee was delicious. - the beach was very clean and we noticed the staff consistently cleaning up the seaweed during our stay. The beach attendants were also very attentive and provided water and sunscreen. - make a reservation at Toro. The food and entire experience was wonderful. Our waiter Adolfo knew it was our anniversary as well and provided us complimentary prosecco at the end of our meal. Our stay at the St. Regis Kanai exceeded my expectations and I would definitely return!

Such a great experience!
I was worried this resort would not deliver because of the mangrove. I was so wrong. This resort is extremely beautiful, very upper end and has great service overall. However, Eric was our server on the beach. He was by far the best employee that we interacted with. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. The rooms were fresh and clean. Housekeeping is in your room more than you are. They are always working to make sure everything is perfect. Bring bug repellent because there are a few bugs at night, where the wind is not blowing. But they are not bad at all. The spa is really nice, Marlena gives an excellent massage and is very sweet. We appreciated the attention to detail. We were here on an extended stay where part of the time my company was paying for it, and it was all inclusive. Other days we paid for our own. The food quality is definitely better if you are paying full price. But overall still great as an all inclusive. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about the St. Regis. And once again, a big thank you to Eric and the entire staff.

Exceptional Return Visit – True St. Regis Luxury
Exceptional Return Visit – True St. Regis Luxury This was our second stay at the St. Regis Kanai, and once again, the experience was flawless. Upon arrival, the front desk team warmly acknowledged my Platinum Elite status and offered a prompt upgrade, setting the tone for a relaxing and luxurious stay. Christian and Alex provided outstanding service at the pool every day, anticipating our needs and making our time by the water truly enjoyable. Breakfasts at Gaia were a daily highlight — Ezekiel greeted us by name and made each morning feel special. We also enjoyed several dinners there, enhanced by live music that perfectly matched the tropical setting. We played a round at El Camaleón and had a wonderful lunch at Koba Sports Bar at Mayakoba. Though on the higher end price-wise, the service and experience were exceptional. Overall, this was a memorable family vacation. The service, setting, and attention to detail are everything you’d expect from a St. Regis. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Resort with Amazing Hospitality
My family and I just finished a 5-day / 4-night vacation at the St. Regis Kanai and can confidently say that this is a wonderful resort. This resort provided a setting that is both luxurious for the adults while also friendly and fun for children. We were with our 2-year-old daughter, who was treated so kindly by everyone working at the hotel. We found the butlers to be professional, efficient, and genuinely interested in ensuring that we thoroughly enjoyed every second of our vacation. You can truly feel the heart of what hospitality should be while being a guest here. One thing I typically struggle with is the food in Mexico. I have a weak stomach and have trouble pretty much everywhere I travel. At this resort, the food is excellent. Everything was freshly made with high-quality ingredients. Every person who served us was proud of the food they were serving, which makes for an even better experience. The chicken sandwich at Riviera was delectable. I mean, I am still dreaming about it, it was good. The only so/so meal we had was at Edition, which just had an odd menu in my opinion. I highly recommend anyone who enjoys great hospitality, unbelievable architecture, luxurious accommodations, and world-class pools/spas to visit this hotel. Special shout-out to the servers at Toro who made for amazing meals, the servers at Riviera/the kids pool who worked tirelessly to ensure our comfort and happiness, and all the butlers who took such great care of us. I definitely will return!
