Exquisite Family Vacation
Our family has been here for just under a week and I couldn’t wait to get home to share this review! We’ve had the most beautiful time! The St Regis Bahia Beach property IS STUNNING and expansive. While the hotel has a number of guests, there is so much space that most days we had entire sections of the pool and beach to ourselves. No fighting for pool chairs here! There is so much to do - the beach, pools (on property and at the nearby Beach Club), the lake obstacle course, kayaks, paddle boards, biking, hiking, kids club and animal sanctuary - and that’s just a snapshot! The food is top notch and the service is impeccable. Everyone is so kind, friendly and thoughtful. They cannot do enough to ensure you’re comfortable and having the best time. A few specific shout outs to Angela, Josh and Hector at breakfast service, Alicia at the pool, Afiya ar the spa, and Jose in butler service - the MOST friendly and warm - made us feel special and right at home! We cannot recommend this gorgeous place enough. It has been our most special family vacation!

Very good resort and staff but not excellent
This probably a true 4.5 star hotel experience. It’s in need of a little refreshing and updating (I know Four Seasons is taking over soon so I’m sure it’ll come with that change). The staff is very good, but not excellent. Also will improve with FS in charge I’m sure. The beach was too rough and windy for us to utilize when we visited which was quite a disappointment with our four year old. Especially to fly 4.5 hours for a beach. Maybe due to it being February but it seemed like that was the time to visit? We loved the size of the rooms- huge bathrooms, nice entrance way, luggage storage area and a really nice sized porch. We had two queen beds for my husband, myself and our toddler and we didn’t feel on top of each other at all. We loved the proximity to El Yunque- highly recommend visiting. We rented a Jeep for El Yunque, restaurants off the resort and Old Town which really enhanced our trip and made it memorable. The pool here is probably one of the nicest I’ve ever been to (and we’ve been to A LOT of nice resorts all over the world- see previous reviews). There’s some iguanas that swim through which we enjoyed. The pool was NOT heated though so we were definitely freezing from time to time, again this is February. All in all, a great expansive resort. Excited to see what Four Seasons does with it to improve service and update- will return once it has changed hands as they have some work to do to make it a true five star property.

Beautiful and relaxing!
Such a beautiful hotel! We only spent two days there but made the most of it. Our suite was comfortable and clean. Loved the shower and products. The pool area is spacious and beautifully landscaped. The food was solid and the service was top notch. The nightly rituals also made for a special stay. Would definitely visit again.

Great Resort for Families
The resort is absolutely beautiful with lots of activities for kids. We enjoyed the bikes, s’mores, pool, beach, driving range and animal shelter. I would note that the turn down service was inconsistent and we were charged a different amount for breakfast each day (with the same order). More restaurant options would be nice, but we were satisfied with what was available.

Everything you want in a beach resort
Can’t believe I forgot to review this place. We are at a different beach resort now and it reminded me how much more we enjoyed the St Regis Bahia Beach. Beautiful property, great service, great rooms. Yeah it is on the pricey side (and $99 resort fee is ridiculous) but the property is great and the food is very good. It is too bad they are deflagging from St Regis / Bonvoy, that makes us less likely to return.
- AdvisoryA mandatory Resort fee of $99.00 USD (plus tax) per room, per night will be charged and collected by the hotel at check-in or check-out. The fee is subject to change without prior notice. The information published here is to give the client an estimate of additional fees they may be responsible for but not a guarantee of the final amount due
- AdvisoryPrices are based on single or double occupancy. You will incur additional charges at the time of check-in for additional room occupants. The Front Desk will verify the age of the guest to determine whether the extra fee would apply.
