Beautiful Stay at St. Regis Aruba
We just returned home from the St. Regis Aruba where we celebrated our wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As Bonvoy Platinum Members we were upgraded from a Deluxe Oceanfront Room to an Executive Oceanfront Suite (8418) and couldn't have been happier. The property is beautiful, gorgeous inside and out - especially the terraced pools area. During a particularly windy day, we were gifted a Bimini Bed for shade when we couldn't open sun umbrellas. Perfect Pina coladas btw! Beautiful grand bar in the lobby. Rooftop bar lounge is also a lovely vibe. The level of service was on par with all of our previous St. Regis stays around the globe - warm, friendly, outstanding. Not even a single mistake was made with room service; hard to pull off given instructions from admittedly picky eaters. One suggestion re: restaurants/menus would be to expand what is available on site at breakfast (complementary for Bonvoy Platinum Members) and otherwise outside of all the asian fare (perhaps Margherita pizza and club sandwich additions?) We often enjoy room service after a long day of activity. Amazing service. Thank you to all of the staff who made this a very happy and memorable stay. We super appreciated your welcoming us back when our flight was cancelled after a long stay at the airport - and for your help booking our VIP airport service to make our 'second departure' flawless.

Can’t wait to go back✨
This review is long over due: We 10 spent days on property in March over spring break and first time to the island. We had a fantastic time. And can’t wait to return. We were very nervous about the mixed reviews prior to arriving and considered moving hotels… we are so happy we didn’t. In the final analysis, this is what we have concluded, you’re either a big hotel person or an intimate boutique person… and you need to know who you are…. We are small boutique folks. We look the smaller property, not waiting for the elevator forever, the same staff most days that know your preferences, not the swarms of people all over the place. The property is discreet minimalistic and lovely. Just an easy and no fuss property to navigate. Now of you stay at other St Regis properties, you’ll note the absence of the opulence the rooms. (Ie. the Atlanta St Regis is our favorite) The hotel feels a bit more JW Marriott than St. Regis. It would have been nice to be upgraded being a Titanium Elite and Lifetime Platinum Bonvoy member. They did send a nice bottle of champagne for my birthday but overall “surprise and delights” could be better and should be a focus for the hotel; it’s the little things that go a long way. The staff is wonderful and will rise to the occasion with any request. The whole squad at the bar by the beach and at breakfast felt like family. 10/10 Customer Experience is my superpower… so from that point of view. The Concierge team could stand to formalize the prearrival, arrival and departure customer ceremonies… based on folks who have and have not been on the island. They have a better opportunity to elevate their retail spa and casino offerings. Ie. I had an AMAZING spa experience on the last day of our trip and my only regret was that I didn’t have it on the first or second day to prep my skin. It would be great if the team provided “best practices” before arriving… I have lots of additional thoughts here but all in all… we can’t wait to come back.

St. Regis Aruba Resort...Exceling Only at Mediocrity
As a Lifetime Titanium who has really enjoyed the St. Regis brand internationally, I really wanted to like this resort. We were off to a great start...booked a 5 day ocean view on a reasonable number of points; booked business class award tickets between my home in S Florida and Aruba; and received an upgrade to ocean front from the hotel prior to arrival. Then we arrived in Aruba, and things immediately went downhill. Before I get to the pros and cons, let me bottom line this property for you...excellent at around 50,000 points/day; but run away (quickly!) if you are even thinking about paying for this mess. Unfortunately, that seemed to be the general opinion of most guests with whom we spoke. Here we go: Pros: +Beautiful lobby, bar area, outdoor terrace; +Dedicated, enthusiastic employees throughout the property, without exception (the negatives associated with the employees below); +Truly outstanding restaurant at Akira Back; +Best smashburger I've ever had at the beach bar and room service; +A/C and water pressure in the room were excellent; +Nice, small, uncrowded casino on property; +Good view from room; +Outstanding local bloody mary at the St Regis Bar; +Outstanding beach food/drink service. Cons: -Airport pickup...we elected to use the hotel's service. The hotel provided good directions prior to our arrival (meet individual with hotel sign and our name, etc). Unfortunately, there was no one waiting. We found the third party transportation company, and they took care of the issue immediately. My recommendation would be to simply use a taxi on arrival...they are plentiful, safe and friendly. We sort of laughed at this, as our last St Regis stay was in the Maldives. This arrival didn't quite compare to that! While we didn't expect that type of experience, we certainly expected better than this. -Our room...lovely, and certain design aspects warrant a brand somewhere above a JW; however, overall, the rooms are lacking in many astonishing ways...there is a table with one chair, so nowhere for two individuals to enjoy room service inside (normally outside on the balcony would be ok, but more on that in a moment); no USB ports or other B or C electronics outlets; no plugs by the desk; no plugs out on balcony; lighting was not up-to-date in either the room or bathroom; carpet already showing signs of wear. -Employee training...I separated this out from employee service in order to try to explain what I believe is happening at this resort. As I mentioned above, the employees are all well-intentioned; however, they are failing miserably at their jobs (across the hotel, with only one exception...the beach). Given their enthusiasm and obvious dedication, it has to be the training. Several examples...the valet who helped us to our room could not find it. In his defense, the room numbering system at this resort is a bit convoluted, but I think it's reasonable to expect the valet to know the way to the rooms. I won't spend much time on the "butlers"...this is one of those St Regis properties at which they are pretty meaningless...we tried twice for coffee...once it took ninety minutes, and the other time we simply gave up. Maid service typically came around 4pm daily, with turndown around 5:30pm. -Noise...there are two sets of outdoor noise issues at this property, one temporary and one permanent, both of which greatly overshadow the typical soothing sounds of the ocean you would normally expect at a beach resort. The first, and temporary, is construction two properties away. The jackhammering starts around 9am, and lasts until around 6pm daily. The only good news around this is that the rooms are very well sound-proofed, so it doesn't disturb your sleep. The worse news, is the more permanent noise that competes very well with the jackhammering, often overshadowing it...and that is the daily DJ and concerts at the RIU resort next door. It's incessant and makes a quiet beach vacation truly impossible, whether on the beach or on your balcony. -F&B...seriously limited on property. As mentioned above Akira Back is an outstanding restaurant...we had dinner there 4 times! But even their menu is limited. You expect limitations due to it being an island, but I expect a lot more out of a St Regis. The breakfast buffet was little more than what you find at a typical JW M Club (ahh, another polar opposite recollection of the St Regis Maldives); there isn't a club sandwich or even chicken sandwich to be found in any of the restaurants; anyway, I'm really not a demanding nor picky eater, but the property's menus need a ton of work. If this were my first time at a St. Regis, I would likely scratch the brand off my list due to this property. It was that mediocre. But there are many other St Regis, JW, and Marriott properties, whose service outshines this resort's. It's totally correctable...they have the staff...GO TRAIN THEM! Not sure what to say about the noise...there's nothing they can do about the RIU next door. If you are going for some peace and quiet this simply isn't the location.

Premium New Luxury Resort in Aruba
Our stay at the new St. Regis Aruba was nothing short of spectacular. We stayed in an Executive Suite with an ocean view, enjoying spacious, elegant accommodations and breathtaking views of the turquoise sea. The resort comprises three distinct restaurants, and we explored two, each offering unique vibes and multiple pools to unwind by. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with excellent customer service throughout our stay. The grand lobby bar is a standout feature-massive and beautifully designed, perfect for a relaxing drink. Beach access is just steps away, with complimentary towels and lawn chairs provided, making beach days effortless. The beachside restaurant served delicious meals with stunning ocean views. The resort also features a luxurious spa and a well-equipped fitness center, catering to both relaxation and wellness needs. For those interested in shopping, the onsite luxury jewelry store adds an extra touch of indulgence. Overall, the St. Regis Aruba offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience. From the attentive staff to the beautiful surroundings, every detail was thoughtfully curated. We highly recommend this resort for anyone seeking a lavish and memorable Caribbean getaway. If you’re seeking a lavish and relaxing getaway in Aruba, the St. Regis should be at the top of your list.

St. Regis Aruba
I have written a concern about this property BUT I have some really good feedback to offer as well and that is in regard to the service and the staff. The service provided by the staff was top notch and I have nothing but praise to offer some specific individuals at this property. The inside hotel bartenders, Angel, Severino & Angel were unbelievable. Their attention to detail, remembering not only our choice of drink but addressing us by name was such a refreshing and welcomed experience. Never did I have to wait or ask for a beverage. They engaged in conversation and made us feel welcome. The pool staff, Justin and Joe, were two of the best out there at the pool and beach. Always getting us set up, where they could, accommodating my requests and ensuring those requests were observed every day, never had to remind them of my preferences. Always checking to see if we needed anything and it was on a regular basis. Also addressing us by name and the polite manner in which they conduct and represent themselves was amazing. They are hard workers and represent this property they way a St. Regis experience is known. The outside pool bar, Jeandry, Ronny and the female manager were our 3 favorite workers. Anything we needed or wanted was given. They were friendly, accommodating and never told us "no" we can't do that, we don't have. The friendliness, respect and engaging conversation were the pinnacle of enjoyment. I spent a lot of time with these individuals and he had such a wonderful time getting to know these people and learn about their country. They offered wonderful dining recommendations and spots on the Island to experience. The organization is very lucky to have these individuals work at this property and the staff and service would be the only reason I would recommend and return to this property. I usually like to go to a property I have never experience but this property would draw me back because of these members of your staff. You are lucky to have them under your hire.
