Attentive housekeeping
My recent stay at the St. Regis was wonderful—I loved the amenities, but I was especially impressed by my housekeeper, Gladys, and Gerard, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are immaculate with no details untouched . Thanks Gerard and team!

Good alternative to our regular location but still needs some tweaking
We love Aruba and have been many times. We usually stay at the Ritz which we like because of our status (lifetime titanium) we usually get upgraded, but everyone is right, no breakfast. I know the beach is not amazing, but I like the trees and you can kind of spread out if you want to and it’s quiet. We also really like the sushi restaurant outside on the deck at night with the live music. What we don’t think is great there are the pools, but we usually hang out at the beach anyhow. So, we decided to try the St. Regis this time because it was new. There are definite pluses and minuses. We were there when the resort was only at about 40% capacity too. The pools I think are better and the breakfast and service was lovely. Everyone was very nice and the room was clean and our balcony private. A few areas of improvement. Check in is far too small. They do bring you a welcome drink, but if this place was even close to capacity, you’d be waiting a very very long time. And, there is a ton of space in the lobby to extend it, so that’s odd. I didn’t like the beach and pool chairs. They felt very cheap for this type of property and the beach is nice. I can see how some people would like it better than the ritz because if you are in row 4/5 at the ritz, you have not a great view of the beach, but at the St. Regis, you still do, but you are right on top of the people on both sides of you. So, we had a family with 2 insane children they were not managing jumping almost on us and a group of about 6 women that needed to scream their whole conversation to each other, into their phones, FaceTime, etc…so, it wasn’t very peaceful. Lastly, we usually call to ask for housekeeping to come when we are out of the room and this was very inconsistent. They didn’t change our sheets for 5 nights and we didn’t request them not to and we had a leak from the A/C unit which is above the pillows on the bed that leaked on us so we asked them to fix it and they said it was because we had the balcony door open, but it continued even when it had been shut all day. So, I just put towels up there, but still not fun to get cold drops of water on you in the night. The manager was very nice about it and gave us some points, but just some things to look out for.

Beautiful property but would not return
Brief overview followed by pros and cons. For context my husband and I came to Aruba for relaxation only. No interest in excursions etc for this trip. Pros: beautiful property, rooms, and service. Did a couples massage and enjoyed it. Food options were great and diverse. Location was close to little “downtown” area with shops and other restaurants that you could easily walk to (~15 min) or Hop on a scooter. Ate at rooftop restaurant Akira Back which was lovely with great views. Cons: while there are multiple pools and one designated for adults only, there is no separation from all the families and children. Additionally the adult pool gets sun maybe for 30 minutes the entire day. Disappointing. Beach: all the beaches are beautiful, sand is clean etc but the beach at the St. Regis is pretty narrow compared to neighboring properties so everyone is on top of one another(and again no separation from children running between chairs if you are an adult Couple). You also need to come down early (we came down by 7 am after not getting a chair previous days) to save yourself a chair. Not only that but if you don’t put a personal item on your chair in addition to the towels that staff provide you, we noticed multiple people swiping others spots and really there’s not much you can do. Personally not looking to get into it with others while on vacation (or ever! Haha) and it also takes away from the relaxing vibe when you feel like you can’t just “be” and have to jockey for a spot. Overall it’s a beautiful property and location is great (though I wouldn’t say any better than neighboring properties) but if you are an adult couple/adults without kids I would seriously consider staying elsewhere unless you don’t mind being surrounding by children and sitting on top of one other at the narrow beach.

Five star stay at the St Regis Aruba
I had the most incredible stay at the St. Regis Aruba, and it truly deserves every one of its five stars. From the moment I arrived, the luxury and attention to detail were unmistakable. My suite was spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered breathtaking views from the balconies—waking up to that turquoise water was unforgettable. The service was beyond exceptional. Shella and every single person we encountered went out of their way to make my birthday special, adding thoughtful touches that made me feel genuinely celebrated. The food throughout the resort was delicious, and spending the day in a beach cabana made for the perfect birthday experience—relaxing, comfortable, and absolutely dreamy. This stay exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for luxury, comfort, and truly outstanding service, the St. Regis Aruba is second to none. I can’t wait to return!

Aruba
I had a wonderful stay at the St. Regis Aruba. The property is beautiful, the service was excellent, and everything felt effortless and relaxing. Gerard Halley was incredibly helpful and made the experience truly idyllic. The MPC app he recommended made our transition through security absolutely seamless, adding an extra layer of ease to an already perfect stay. I look forward to returning.
