Enjoy the best fine dining in La Fortuna, Arenal in our incredible restaurant Las Ventanas where the only thing better than the view is the food. Be careful to avoid the window seats if you are afraid of heights because the windows are angled out to allow you to look almost straight down a thousand feet to the river below! At night the distant mountains twinkle with the lights of cities thirty miles away. Be sure to dine here at least once during the day and once during the evening to capture the complete experience.

Our gourmet buffet restaurant would be appropriately described as a “Tasting” experience. Here you will sample to your heart’s content a complete salad bar with our signature dressings, hot and cold soups of the day, assorted fresh baked breads, and a selection of hot entrée items of which a few will be specially prepared for you right at the buffet. The menu changes daily and may tend toward Italian one day to Asian the next. Our dessert bar offers small bite size portions to minimize your guilt while sampling them all and, of course, maybe returning for an extra piece of your favorite. Fresh fruit juices, tea and coffee are included. Even though it is a buffet you will have a waiter attending to your every need. We like to refer to it as a “Full Service Gourmet Buffet”.

Oct 19, 2026The Most Amazing Hotel and Staff!
We just returned from a 4 night stay at this magical property. This resort is absolutely breathtaking and just as amazing are the hotel staff. Each and every person went above and beyond, not only with a genuine smile but also knowing our names throughout the hotel. I worked as a customer service manager and I can tell you their presence is beyond top notch. One particular person that deserves a huge shoutout is Joe. We loved seeing his happy, kind and outgoing face each and every day! He is a huge asset to your hotel!!! We were there for a wedding so we didn’t have a lot of time to see all the grounds but every where we went was meticulously taken care of. Lastly, we used their transportation company Paraiso Travel going back and forth to the airport. They were punctual, professional and very friendly. Our one driver Brownie was terrific!!! We cannot wait to return and spend more time enjoying this incredible hotel!

Amazing stay at The Springs Hotel Costa Rica
Had the most amazing stay here at The Springs Hotel. Rooms are so spacious and comfortable, the scenery is spectacular, food is amazing ( farm to table) and the staff truly make it so special. Special mention to Byron so helpful and the check in staff, John the GM, Tristan from the horse stables and the guys that do the tubing this place is a must if going to Costa Rica. Thank you for an incredible time ! I’ll be back! 🙏

The Perfect Place in Costa Rica
We absolutely loved our experience at The Springs! It was such a beautiful resort with great amenities, stunning views, and warm/friendly staff. We travelled with our small child and there was so much we were able to do with her - both included and paid. It was an easy one stop shop for everything we wanted to do on holiday - both relaxing and adventurous. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was responsive to anything we needed throughout our stay. The food was really good! Overall, a great experience that I would highly recommend to families coming to Costa Rica.

Best service, best views, best vacation ever!
This incredible property has something for everyone! While I visited on a girls’ trip, it would also be perfect for a family getaway. The list of activities is endless — spa massages were phenomenal! The spa has relaxation room overlooking the volcano so you sit and drink the best tea you’ve ever had after your treatment. We also did horseback riding, river tubing and the hot springs. And I must mention the food and service — top notch whether you’re eating poolside or at the fine dining restaurant (great wine list there btw) . Accommodations vary to fit anyone’s needs. They offer standard rooms which are gigantic compared to most hotel rooms. There are also villas available for large families that want to stay together. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

Excellence all the way around
We had an amazing stay Springs Resort. The Resort is beautiful and very relaxing. We ate at most of the restaurants and loved the food at all of them except Ginger Sushi which was just okay. The service and hospitality were outstanding! Esteban was a ray of sunshine and made us feel welcome every time we saw him.
