With the opening of Chef Michael White’s coastal Italian restaurant Paranza at The Cove, Atlantis has become the only resort in the region with three Michelin star-rated chefs: Michael White (Paranza), Nobu Matsuhisa (Nobu) and José Andrés (FISH by José Andrés).

    There are 11 pools on site. At Atlantis, there are pools that satisfy every taste, from the formal splendor of the Royal Baths Pool to the relaxed atmosphere and fun of the River Pool.

    Aquaventure - 63 acres of water thrills including a 1 mile river loop featuring tranquil curves, rolling waves and raging river rapids. The mystical power tower is home to 3 new water-coaster rides and the most intense body slide to date....The Abyss.

    Mayan Temple: Five thrilling waterslides include the Leap of Faith, a 60-foot near-vertical drop before you pass through a clear acrylic tunnel submerged in a shark-filled lagoon.

    Each pool deck offers lounge chairs for sunbathing and complimentary beach towels for guests of the resort.

    Guests must be at least 48 inches tall to ride the water slides. Splashers mini-waterpark features water thrills for the little ones, under 48 inches.

    The Dig-
    Located in the Royal Towers, and viewable from the lower level of the Great Hall of Waters, the Ruins Lagoon, filled with ancient Atlantis artifacts, is home to over 20,000 deep reef and pelagic fish. These open-water fish include a variety of tuna, jacks, snappers and spiny lobster. The 2.7 million-gallon exhibits allow for the magnificent display of certain species of fish that are normally impossible or very difficult to view without getting wet.

    Best Atlantis hotel= the Royal

    The Royal at Atlantis is in my opinion the most happening hotel at Atlantis. Quick access to everything- huge waterpark, multiple restaurants, and so many other amenities. The Atlantis mega resort which consists of about five different hotel facilities is amazing and the shuttle bus system between the different resorts is very efficient. It can be quite entertaining to hear rider 's stories on the bus and simply people watch a bit. I would recommend riding the shuttle bus to other resort facilities whenever possible for the entertainment factor. Some of the later evening bus drivers and fun loving passengers were especially funny. The restaurants are nice. Shopping at some luxury stores not available back home was also a fun bonus. This is a great vacation spot for parents with school-age kids if you come when the waterpark is running and the sun is out. The beach wasn't great because the water was super rough when we were there and I don't know if it's always rough, but the waves were just crashing in and actually there were guards on the beach not letting people go even on the sand. There are a lot of chairs around the multiple swimming pools and we never had any problem finding a nice spot to sit.

    Paradise

    It was the neatest place we have ever been. There are thousands of fish and other sealife in aquariums that are everywhere you walk. The property is immaculate and amazing.

    horrible experience

    mediocre food options, surly service, payed 1500.00 per night for a suite and was treated horribly throughout the resort, pool attendent, front desk etc. the General Manager ought to ashamed of themselves that they cant hire the right people to do the job. they have always had this reputation, avoid it, there are alot of other places to spend 1500.00 a night and get treated properly.

    Awful!!

    The royal is Absolutely terrible. FREEZING POOLS. HORRIBLE SERVICE. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. I regret every day of this trip. It would have been better literally anywhere else. the employees don't care and are not knowledgeable about the hotel at all. The pools aren't heated one bit even though their website claims they heat 5 pools to 80. They close the beach whenever they don't want to staff lifeguards, So 3 of our 5 days the ocean was warm but they wouldn't let us in. Paul- supposedly the manager of the waterslides- said my kid was too short but they were clearly touching the sign and 2 other employees had already let them ride. He pulled out a measuring tape and measured with the numbers facing away from me, refused to let me see, and held it 2 inches above the ground. Then said "enjoy the playground little kid". So many employees are condescending and rude. The theater closed for no reason for 3 days even though the website has a whole schedule. Any time I complained to an employee they would say I'm wrong- the website doesn't say that. I would show them proof and they would say "oh well, nothing I can do". Every time I asked to speak to a manager they were in a meeting. Then I would get an email saying they tried to call me. No they didn't. I would call them back at their extension and they would say that person doesn't exist. I'm starting a lawsuit with 10 other families that were there at the same time.

    Not what I expected

    Would not recommend 0/10 their are nicer resorts for cheaper. All the tanks were leaking water was everywhere. They didnt seem concerned.
