With the opening of Chef Michael White’s coastal Italian restaurant Paranza at The Cove, Atlantis has become the only resort in the region with three Michelin star-rated chefs: Michael White (Paranza), Nobu Matsuhisa (Nobu) and José Andrés (FISH by José Andrés).

We recommend approved, licensed operators- such as Blue Adventures or Stewarts Cove. - Non-Motorized Water Sports †At the 7-acre Paradise Lagoon, visit the Neptune's Water Toys hut to arrange for non-motorized water sports and excursions. Choose from water bikes, peddle boats, kayaks, water hammocks and snorkeling equipment rentals.
- PoolThere are 11 pools on site. At Atlantis, there are pools that satisfy every taste, from the formal splendor of the Royal Baths Pool to the relaxed atmosphere and fun of the River Pool.
Aquaventure - 63 acres of water thrills including a 1 mile river loop featuring tranquil curves, rolling waves and raging river rapids. The mystical power tower is home to 3 new water-coaster rides and the most intense body slide to date....The Abyss.
Mayan Temple: Five thrilling waterslides include the Leap of Faith, a 60-foot near-vertical drop before you pass through a clear acrylic tunnel submerged in a shark-filled lagoon.
Each pool deck offers lounge chairs for sunbathing and complimentary beach towels for guests of the resort.
Guests must be at least 48 inches tall to ride the water slides. Splashers mini-waterpark features water thrills for the little ones, under 48 inches. - Sauna †

Located in the Royal Towers, and viewable from the lower level of the Great Hall of Waters, the Ruins Lagoon, filled with ancient Atlantis artifacts, is home to over 20,000 deep reef and pelagic fish. These open-water fish include a variety of tuna, jacks, snappers and spiny lobster. The 2.7 million-gallon exhibits allow for the magnificent display of certain species of fish that are normally impossible or very difficult to view without getting wet.

Nov 21, 2025Always a perfect getaway in the Bahamas!
Had a great time at Atlantis in November 2025. It's the perfect mix of relaxation and fun! The fitness center is a perfect way to start the day. After a morning workout - it's time to head out to the pool and WaterPark! Absolutely love the Rapid River - a lazy river+. The Christmas decorations were just starting to come out which added a lovely atmosphere. In the evenings it was time for dinner and gambling. A perfect 5 day - 4 night get away!

The resort is dated- the bathroom had no vent, the room smelt very musty, toilet was broken and lights didn't work. The beds and the view were amazing though! Mateo offered us another room, but the smell was still there and no vent. So, we decided to stay where we were, he did keep us a comp for inconvenience. Lounge chairs at the Royal were very uncomfortable. But we did go over to the Cove and they were padded and so much better! Restaurants were good - a little expensive for the portion. The Pizza place was excellent! The Royal certainly needs some improvement and just disappointed

Our experience at Atlantis was extremely disappointing. The staff attention was horrible, unfriendly, unhelpful, and often rude. The hotel in general is not well maintained at all, you can clearly see it needs updates and better cleaning. The aqua park, beach, and casino are nice, but the staff manages to ruin the little good the resort has to offer. Everything is extremely overpriced and absolutely not worth it.

A great place for fun and feel welcomed
A great welcome at Reception Desk. P’dira accommodated us with our early check in, upgrading us to the Royal West 14th floor, complimentary. She did it with a great smile. A great start to our vacation time at the Atlantis.

Nov 19, 2025You don't get what you pay for
I stayed at the Royal, the iconic fancy one. Be aware of the musty, moldy smell that saturates your clothing and makes it quite difficult to sleep at night. The room was cold because the room vent was broken and put out only cold musty air. When turned off, the room was mustier. The staff attempted to fix with no success and offered additional blankets as I was so cold and worse too the shower water was cold! Imagine I was booked for 5 nights! Be aware the hotel charges an additional resort fee daily. I was there alone for business so I didn't use any of the amenities at the resort, instead I paid out of pocket for every little thing including coffee, etc.
