Joe at the concierge desk, hit a homerun. After waiting about 5 hrs for my rm & seeing coleuges recieve their rm. He was able to get me a room.

Incredible property, getting even better!
Everything about our stay was fantastic! We flew into FLL on the redeye, so we arrived to the hotel at 7:30 am on the day of check in, needless to say well before the 4pm check in time. Uncertain but very hopeful that we would be able to get into our room and delighted reception was friendly and happy to accommodate our very early arrival. Also, upgraded to a beautiful room with a balcony in recognition of my Hilton Honors Gold status! The room had views of the intercoastal waterway and was west facing, so we were graced with beautiful sunset views... I would venture to say it rivaled an ocean view room! The room itself was very nice, loved the shutter feature opening the bathroom up to the rest of the room and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Honorable mentions include housekeeping, and the wonderful staff at Counter Point Cafe, both very friendly and attentive. We also took advantage of the beachside and poolside service for drinks, snacks and lunch, all delicious. Self-parking is conveniently located directly across the street at $50/nightly charge and Valet is also a great option with very fast and friendly service - based on our personal circumstances we took advantage of both throughout our stay. The property is incredible, still under renovation it will be absolutely stunning when complete! Only minor inconveniences from the ongoing renovation, nothing that seriously detracted from an absolutely fabulous stay. I wouldn't consider any other location than The Diplomat for my next trip to Hollywood... See you next time!

We were celebrating our daughters birthday and the hotel's location is a major selling point. Valet parking arrangements were organized and efficient. At check-in, our diamond status was recognized and the agent was extremely helpful in getting our room assignments sorted. The rooms were great! Housekeeping did a really good job. We dined at the restaurant, Diplomat Prime, and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, service and meals. A more prominent note on the website advising about the construction/renovation would have been welcomed. A tab labeled, "NEXT ERA" is fine but the Guest notice at the bottom of that tab should be on the home page. Hotels should allow guests to decide if they want to spend their time/money in a construction zone especially when it involves activities you're planning on enjoying.

First Class!
We recently stayed at The Diplomat Beach Resort and from the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the property, offering both luxury and a relaxing beach atmosphere. We want to give a special mention to Joe Lombardo at the concierge desk. He was incredibly personable and professional, going above and beyond (on his day off) to ensure every detail was taken care of. His assistance made our stay so special and much more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to The Diplomat soon! Highly recommended!
