Book it and Go! - Wow what a place!!
Stayed at The Crane from September 27th - October 2nd, what an awesome place for so many different reasons! Let’s start with the staff who are warm, friendly and very polite. Hello to Joan at reception who recalled my name with ease every time I saw her on property. I stayed on the second floor of the Residences in the Park. My accommodations were nothing short of spectacular and huge! It was a 1 bedroom unit ( king size bed) with a full kitchen, living and dining room, a huge terrace , and a washer/dryer combo and windows you can open. Loved the colour scheme of cream, white, light brown - so calming. There was a powder room in addition to the ensuite bathroom with two sinks and a shower. The living room furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare your own meals - it was incredible! They have a small on site grocery store you can shop at. The grounds at The Crane are beautifully landscaped, so lush and gorgeous! Being surrounded by nature like that really added to feeling relaxed. I saw a couple of green monkeys run across the parking lot and up a tree - loved this!! Crane Beach itself is gorgeous and very easy to access via stairs or the elevator. I was worried about the Sargassum seaweed due to the time of the year . It was very very minor and did not impact the water, no problems wading in for a dip. I was told that when there is a lot of seaweed The Crane offers transportation to one of the beaches on the West Coast that are not affected by seaweed. They have thought of everything! You can order food/ drink on the beach - they will bring it to you or you can take a short walk behind the towel hut to The Grove Beach Bar and Grill and order yourself. I enjoyed my time at the Pools by the Carriage House, lovely cliff side views out to the Atlantic Ocean! Thanks to Wendall for keeping the cocktails coming poolside! 🍹 The Crane Village is their restaurant and shopping area. Really enjoyed the delicious Spaghetti Carbonara at D’Onofrios - delicious and piping hot! I ordered a small pizza at Bar 1887 , the chef personally apologized to me for accidentally making a large instead of small pizza. It too was delicious and the leftovers were great the next day! During my stay they had a shuttle ($) service into Bridgetown on Mondays and a shuttle to Oistins on Friday. Looking to go offsite for dinner one night it was an easy walk , about 7 minutes, from The Crane to a nearby restaurant called LeShack. The Crane is an incredibly relaxing, serene, and filled with good vibes place! It was not crowded during the time I stayed - fine by me! I’m so glad I went, I’d been wanting to go there for a while, it was so wonderful!!! I travelled solo and felt safe, secure and very well looked after! Did I mention how awesome this place is?? Get on it fellow travellers, book it and go and let the good feels splash over you like an ocean wave. Thank you to everyone at The Crane for your friendliness and politeness, and a truly wonderful and memorable stay. I’ll be seeing you again. 😀

The Crane - A home away from home 😊
We've visited the Crane about 8 times over the last 12 years. It's still our favorite place in the world to vacation. Though Hilton Grand Vacations has significant presence now, it's still the Crane that we have loved for years. Each time we visit, a broad smile grows on our faces as we enter the property. The Crane is a 40 acre village that's nestled in a natural arboretum. It's a feast for the eyes that also has numerous shops, pools, and restaurants. The fitness center is well equipped (| started my 60th birthday with a workout). There's live entertainment in the evening, and good food at the Carriage House. And of course, there's the Crane's famous rum punch ... it gently sneaks up on you, but it packs a wallop!! The true star of the Crane is its amazing people. Miquel, Gloria, Talisha, Angela, Shaquan, Erroll, Nicole, Nadine, Ranisha, Shelly, Joshua, Joe, Kiemar, Rashawn, Corey, and Peter... these folks, and their colleagues, make the Crane a home away from home. (yes, they make such a positive impression that I've listed their names). Thank you, Team. (apologies if I've misspelled names) No matter how often we visit, the Crane leaves us wanting more. We find ourselves planning our next visit while waiting to board our flight back home.

There is NO RUNNING WATER TODAY
There is NO RUNNING WATER at the CRANE that markets itself as a luxury resort! It has declined so much over the years - such a pity.

History and Relaxation
Let me start off by saying the facility is absolutely huge. There are at least two pools. One is significantly larger, more family, friendly than the other. The beach which has pink sand has amazing waves for a boogie board so bring one but also has access to food and beer and other fun items to do.If the restaurants are open, then you’ve got four restaurants to choose from and the staff is extremely friendly with an on-site bakery, coffee shop, grocery store, duty-free shop, jewelry store, concierge. I highly recommend getting one of the room to have your own private pool.
