    Ideal Rooms and Location

Location was ideal. The coral has three restaurants indoors (Carmines, Claudios and Chopsticks) tasty restaurants and home to its own Starbucks just a level below the main lobby with a door that has access to the marina village which hosts numerous restaurants of various cuisines. In the event of bad weather/rain The Coral would be the perfect stay for not having to grab an umbrella or be bummed by the rain in paradise if your day at the pool is cancelled! :)

    Can't wait to go back!

Overall, everything was great. Coral tower rooms were a bit dated, but overall the resort was perfect for our family. Lots of great restaurant options and so many pools/slides. The "Not so Lazy" River was also a ton of fun for us to enjoy with our kids!

The resort it's self was great. The coral hotel needs a lot of work. The rooms are outdated.

I'll start by saying that the resort it's self was great. Very clean and the staff was amazing. The water in the park and pools is supposably heated to 80F. There was no way the pools were 80 deg while we were there. I would say closer to 70F. When it came to the room we had it was the worst room I've ever had. The door was so far out of alignment that we had to Hip check it every time to get in. The safe didn't work and it took 2 days to get it fixed. our phone never worked. We talked to the front desk multiple times, and nothing was ever done. We were given a room on the third floor and 2 doors down from the elevator and ice machine. Being Titanium Elite with Marriott. I would have expected a lot better accommodation than this. This is the first hotel or resort where status means nothing to them. Also be ready for the resort fee. $74 dollars at the Coral, plus a mandatory gratuity of $14 a day. Dining: Bring a lot of money with you. This place is expensive!! 10% VAT tax and Gratuity of 15% on each order. I understand that everything is imported and it's going to cost a little more but 16$ for a mixed drink plus gratuity and VAT tax. Or $8 for Kalik Beer let’s be real here. 4 times the cost for your local beer is robbery. Food quality was not worth the cost for anyplace that we ate. At the Chop Stix restaurant, we ordered Scallops with Asparagus and XO sauce. What we got were Scallops, 3 little pieces of asparagus, peppers and onions along with walnuts. I am deathly allergic to walnuts. Thank God I took a good look at what was on the plate before I ate anything. I'm pretty sure had I ate that I would not have come back from the trip. Better descriptions on the menu are a must before someone gets a reaction or worse.

    Will definitely be back!

We stayed at The Coral with my family of 3 in January 2026. Love the atmosphere and the friendly staff. The food was amazing throughout the resort. It’s pricy, but you get what you pay for. Love this place and can’t wait to come back again.
