    Inspired by the simplicity and elegance of the desert, Manta — designed by JSa Arquitectura and Enrique Olvera — was conceived as a black box that focuses on the views from one of the most desirable and secluded playas in Cabo San Lucas. Our name has a thoughtful double meaning: a manta ray which symbolizes the kitchen’s focus on seafood, while manta, the Spanish word for canvas, conveys the idea of freedom in artistic expression. As The Cape’s culinary centerpiece, Manta celebrates the Pacific Coast cultures, taking inspiration from Mexico, Peru, Japan and beyond.

    The hotel’s main pool’s swim-up bar and terrace offer a vibe that’s both lively and laid-back.     The Rooftop is the quintessential spot for an evening out for two, drinks with friends or a private party. This signature space features open-air bars, al fresco dining, sunken communal seating, a fire pit, and serene water features — emblematic of its Baja locale. Live acoustic music is played to the setting sun, and DJs are on regular rotation at this signature Cabo San Lucas restaurant.

    Best Views Ever

    Ezequiel is the best waiter of the waitstaff during my best friends wedding! He always took care of us and made sure we had drinks and food in hand!

    The Cape- the only place I want to stay in Cabo!

    Wow!!! The Cape is such a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting- like something you see in a magazine. You just can’t beat seeing the famous arch from the open air lobby and your balcony! I’m so happy we chose this hotel over a few others that had been recommended to us. We only had 3 nights here, but I wish our stay had been longer! We spent 2 days at the pool relaxing- that was our goal. Fernanda, Hugo and Luis took such great care of us- they really gave us the best service, were so kind and attentive, and they had the best recommendations for places to go and restaurants to try. I have celiac and Fernanda went above and beyond to call a restaurant for us to make sure they had options for me. She and Hugo had amazing recs for drinks and tequila! And Luis made sure we had the best last day at the pool! Everyone at the hotel was very kind- the front desk, the staff at the sunken bar who made us our iced lattes and the wait staff in The Ledge for our delicious breakfasts. The gym had ample equipment for our workouts. The beach is so pretty- the ocean isn’t really swimmable, but the huge waves crashing are such a great backdrop to the infinity pool. The sunsets from The Rooftop are spectacular! I really can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I will be recommending it to all of my family and friends who travel to Cabo and will be dreaming of this place until we can make it back.

    Such an amazing hotel and experience!

    Everything about The Cape exceeded our expectations and felt like an A+ experience. The food was the best I have ever had at a resort - we didn’t have one single disappointing food item for the 9 meals that we had there! The staff was so friendly and personable, and the level of service was so high. The room and resort grounds felt incredibly clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the sofa-bed swing on the balcony was the cherry on top! Great pool vibe for adults who don’t want too many kids or wild partiers. The Cape is truly the perfect place for an adult vacation.

    LOVE The Cape!

    The Cape is one of our favorite hotels in the world. The hotel, the location, the vibe, and the people who work here are all wonderful. One thing that really sets this resort apart is the pool attendants and servers. They meet every guest upon arrival at the pool area and assist you in getting situated. While everyone is wonderful, we wanted to give special recognition to Luis and Fernanda. They went above and beyond to make our time at the pool incredible and even to make sure my wife felt special on her birthday. Thank you Luis and Fernanda!!! Also want to give a thanks to Claudia at the concierge desk. Claudia arranged multiple dinners and transfers for us and really went out of her way to make my wife’s birthday celebration special. Thank you!
