Resort Details
- MANTAInspired by the simplicity and elegance of the desert, Manta — designed by JSa Arquitectura and Enrique Olvera — was conceived as a black box that focuses on the views from one of the most desirable and secluded playas in Cabo San Lucas. Our name has a thoughtful double meaning: a manta ray which symbolizes the kitchen’s focus on seafood, while manta, the Spanish word for canvas, conveys the idea of freedom in artistic expression. As The Cape’s culinary centerpiece, Manta celebrates the Pacific Coast cultures, taking inspiration from Mexico, Peru, Japan and beyond.Reservation required.
- POINT BREAKThe hotel’s main pool’s swim-up bar and terrace offer a vibe that’s both lively and laid-back. Dine and indulge in drinks whether enjoyed via the swim-up bar, at a lounge chair or underneath the shade of the restaurant’s covered patio. Signature items include fresh catch-of-the-day ceviche, Baja specialties, tacos on house-made tortillas, sandwiches and more. Enjoy sessions with a local DJ set every weekend.
- SUNKEN BARNestled within the heart of The Cape in Los Cabos, the revamped Sunken bar is a captivating haven in the center of the open air lobby that seamlessly blends breathtaking ocean views, stunning sunsets, and delightful food and beverage offerings just steps away from Manta. Crafted with natural materials, Sunken Bar offers a relaxing panoramic view of the sea. Whether you're seeking a leisurely spot to savor pre-dinner drinks, a moody destination for a night cap, or anything in between, Sunken Bar welcomes you.
- THE LEDGEModern Mexican meets traditional American by the beach. Join us for breakfast, lunch or dinner at our beach house-inspired Cabos San Lucas restaurant and patio. Here, you’ll find locally-sourced seafood, contemporary Mexican cuisine and American favorites in a casual, breezy atmosphere overlooking the ocean and picture-perfect views of El Arco. Don’t miss our famous Cape Toast or Sunday brunch with a food station and live music.Reservation required.
- THE ROOFTOPThe Rooftop is the quintessential spot for an evening out for two, drinks with friends or a private party. This signature space features open-air bars, al fresco dining, sunken communal seating, a fire pit, and serene water features — emblematic of its Baja locale. Live acoustic music is played to the setting sun, and DJs are on regular rotation at this signature Cabo San Lucas restaurant.Reservation required.

Worst experience: unsafe, unhygienic, disrespectful
Worst experience I have ever had. Smoked cigarette butt and used tissue found on my balcony during my stay after housekeeping. How did they appear?? Did someone get to my room?? Talked to the supervisor- they said they could offer no remedy and said he could tell my manager if I want to “ask” for anything. As a Globalist it’s unbelievable to hear you need to “ask” for remedy when such unsafe and unhygienic thing happened. I never heard from any supervisor or hotel management since then. No action taken. Do not come to this place. You do not want to feel unsafe, unhygienic, and disrespected at the same time.

An expensive hotel with beautiful views.
This is a hotel with beautiful views in the rooms and on the beach. But there are limited spaces in the courtyard and swimming pool. The restaurants in the hotel are very expensive. Overall, I think the price for both hotel and restaurants is high.

The best view in Cabo
From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Hannan greeted us, handled our bags, and immediately set the tone. He reminded me of a close friend back home in Salt Lake—one of those people you meet and instantly sense their sincerity. He was that genuine. Each morning, Cruz Lopez at the sunken bar welcomed me with a warm smile as I came down for coffee. A true gentleman, and exactly the kind of person who makes a resort feel special. I was fortunate to have one of the best-view rooms in Cabo on the west side of the building, overlooking the city and all the way to Land’s End. One entire wall of the room was floor-to-ceiling glass with a panoramic view. On the south side, a sliding glass door folded completely into the wall and opened to a huge private terrace with a bistro table, two large loungers, room for more seating, and our own plunge pool. It was truly spectacular.

Great experience at the Cape in Cabo.
The best resort I have stayed at and I've been to a lot! Incredible experience at the Cape! The facilities were amazing and of course, the views, access to the beach and pools are spectacular.

Overall excellent
Overall, everything was great. No issues with the service or conditions of the hotel. Exactly the service you would expect to have for the price paid.
