  • MANTA
Inspired by the simplicity and elegance of the desert, Manta — designed by JSa Arquitectura and Enrique Olvera — was conceived as a black box that focuses on the views from one of the most desirable and secluded playas in Cabo San Lucas. Our name has a thoughtful double meaning: a manta ray which symbolizes the kitchen’s focus on seafood, while manta, the Spanish word for canvas, conveys the idea of freedom in artistic expression. As The Cape’s culinary centerpiece, Manta celebrates the Pacific Coast cultures, taking inspiration from Mexico, Peru, Japan and beyond.
    Reservation required.
  • POINT BREAK
The hotel’s main pool’s swim-up bar and terrace offer a vibe that’s both lively and laid-back. Dine and indulge in drinks whether enjoyed via the swim-up bar, at a lounge chair or underneath the shade of the restaurant’s covered patio. Signature items include fresh catch-of-the-day ceviche, Baja specialties, tacos on house-made tortillas, sandwiches and more. Enjoy sessions with a local DJ set every weekend.
  • SUNKEN BAR
Nestled within the heart of The Cape in Los Cabos, the revamped Sunken bar is a captivating haven in the center of the open air lobby that seamlessly blends breathtaking ocean views, stunning sunsets, and delightful food and beverage offerings just steps away from Manta. Crafted with natural materials, Sunken Bar offers a relaxing panoramic view of the sea. Whether you're seeking a leisurely spot to savor pre-dinner drinks, a moody destination for a night cap, or anything in between, Sunken Bar welcomes you.
  • THE LEDGE
Modern Mexican meets traditional American by the beach. Join us for breakfast, lunch or dinner at our beach house-inspired Cabos San Lucas restaurant and patio. Here, you’ll find locally-sourced seafood, contemporary Mexican cuisine and American favorites in a casual, breezy atmosphere overlooking the ocean and picture-perfect views of El Arco. Don’t miss our famous Cape Toast or Sunday brunch with a food station and live music.
    Reservation required.
  • THE ROOFTOP
The Rooftop is the quintessential spot for an evening out for two, drinks with friends or a private party. This signature space features open-air bars, al fresco dining, sunken communal seating, a fire pit, and serene water features — emblematic of its Baja locale. Live acoustic music is played to the setting sun, and DJs are on regular rotation at this signature Cabo San Lucas restaurant.

Awesome location and very well staffed and appointed hotel

Great stay after Christmas. Amazing service and wonderful time despite property being completely full. We had to scramble a bit in the morning to get chaise by the pool, but the attendants onsite did a great job of keeping things civil and ensuring guests didn’t put down belongings then disappear for hours on end. The food onsite was excellent and it was super easy to get to amazing offsite options as well. The rooms are super comfortable with amazing views. Amex hotel collection perks are a great benefit. Definitely would come back if staying in the area again!

    US Resort with Local Flavor

Beautiful property with an exclusive, private beach, great views, good service and delicious food. So long as you're looking to pay US resort prices, this hotel is a great option. We booked through Chase Travel's new The Edit hotels, which came with breakfast included for two. They upgraded us when we checked in so that all four of us could get breakfast for free every morning, which was nice of them. We ate/drank at all of the restaurants on property and only had good experiences.

    Heavenly experience guaranteed

Fantastic view, fantastic rooms with beautiful furniture and huge amount of space, fantastically courteous staff. Manta is a great restaurant - we ordered six appetizers and two main course and all were fantastic. One hears the ocean waves so clearly and can see whales early in the morning, before it gets busy with boats and water activities. The Arch is right in front of you, as you sit on the balcony or livingroom or bedroom.

    The GBU

GOOD: views, location, Manta, service, modern architecture BAD: sparse rooms with limited facilities, cramped, under-sized pool area UGLY: needs maintenance- cracked masonry, chipped furniture and scuffed paintwork in rooms This is not the standard of a 5 star resort but a solid 4 star hotel. Good, not great

    Best Birthday

Always a great experience here for my birthday each year. The Cape never misses a beat with style and welcoming me. It’s my happy place and adds to the better side of Cabo in my opinion. When we arrived there was a special food tasting going on and it was fantastic! They updated their menu and I thought that was a clever idea to get the guests involved. On top of that it was Sunday and as an American they had all of the American football games going so I didn’t get to miss my ravens! It was like an extra special treat. I would like to give a special shoutout to Lenny who took care of me in the most special ways although he didn’t have to! He leads the pool area and didn’t have to go as beyond as he did. It was my birthday and he made it even more special especially after the year I had. What a cool guy. Extra shoutout to Hugo, who looked out for us when Lenny wasn’t available, as well as Jose & Fernanda. It’s always so nice to see them again, which I hope means the Cape is treating them right and compensating them fairly. Keep good workers when you can! It makes me want to come back again. Everyone is so friendly; it’s not an act. See you again next year!
