    Inspired by the simplicity and elegance of the desert, Manta — designed by JSa Arquitectura and Enrique Olvera — was conceived as a black box that focuses on the views from one of the most desirable and secluded playas in Cabo San Lucas. Our name has a thoughtful double meaning: a manta ray which symbolizes the kitchen’s focus on seafood, while manta, the Spanish word for canvas, conveys the idea of freedom in artistic expression. As The Cape’s culinary centerpiece, Manta celebrates the Pacific Coast cultures, taking inspiration from Mexico, Peru, Japan and beyond.

    The hotel’s main pool’s swim-up bar and terrace offer a vibe that’s both lively and laid-back.     Another great stay -- highly recommend

    My wife and I recently stayed at The Cape as part of our babymoon. They went above and beyond with special touches to make our stay special, including a thoughtful surprise in the room. The property was immaculate as always, and even though we were in a different room than our first time, the view was still absolutely incredible. I've recommended this hotel to any friends who are visiting Cabo and I'll definitely be returning. Highlights are the pool (including the attentive staff) and the breakfast (love their avocado toast), plus the rooftop bar. The music was blasting a bit too loud for our liking this time up there, but otherwise it was perfect.

    Moses was excellent server. He checked on us often and gave some great tips for food and drinks that were catered specifically to us.

    A great visit

    Just an amazing property. The views are incredible from the south the west. The pool is setup perfect for this location. The breakfast was delicious and options changed each day.

    Best resort in Cabo

    The Cape is truly the best resort in Cabo! From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely fantastic — the vibe, the food, the suites, and the service are all on another level. The atmosphere is both luxurious and laid-back, with incredible attention to detail everywhere you look. We celebrated our honeymoon here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Every moment felt special, and the team made sure our stay was unforgettable. We’re already counting down the days until we can come back!

    Rooftop Sunsets! 5/5

    GORGEOUS hotel and staff was wonderful! The Hyatt globalist breakfast was wonderful! We ate at the Ledge for breakfast for our entire stay and Miguel was attentive and kind. The pool was nice and heated- not too warm or cold- just perfect! The view of the famous arch from our balcony was so special. We were welcomed with a bottle of tequila in our room. Every attention to detail will definitely keep us coming back to this resort. The food was SOOO good, Fernanda at the concierge desk was kind and helpful. She helped us book a sailing excursion and even provided towels for us to use during the excursion. The drinks were quality and the sunset from the rooftop was unmatched! We liked watching the surfers in front of the hotel. The hotel is a short taxi ride away from the marina and downtown area where we grabbed dinner most nights. The staff went above and beyond during our stay. BEST hotel we have stayed at in a long time. Thank you Cape for making our vacation special!
