At Sunscape Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, kids ages 3-12 will have a blast with all the fun-filled activities at the Explorer’s Club for Kids. Overall a decent resort. We had fun as a family. It was more run down from the pictures. But still ok. The pool was loud all the time. There really wasn’t a time of day that music wasn’t blasting so you could really enjoy the sound of just ocean. The service was good basically everywhere. Food was fine. If you get a cheap deal then go For it!

Sergio fue buen amigo y el y linette han ayudadanos mucho. They are part of the entertainment staff y fueron los mejores. They were very fun and kind and made our trip extra special. Tenemos que regresar prontito.

Was more then We hoped for will always come back

This is a Hyatt property. Hyatt should be embarrassed by the condition of this resort. The ceiling of the lobby is falling down. Everything here is in disrepair. The elevator suddenly dropped a floor and a half as it was going up and then stopped. A ladder was brought for everyone to climb out, which seemed extremely dangerous if the elevator had fallen more while people were midway out. The cost for the repairs to make the resort reasonable would actually not be that much. However, as the manager told me personally, the people who make the decisions for repairs are not willing to spend the money. In the rooms, the shower fluctuates between comfortable and scolding hot every 15 seconds. The fan in the bathroom does not work. Drawers do not close. Everything is just rundown. At the bars, the selection of alcohol is pathetic. At the restaurants, the food is very average.

Buffet just average, main dishes based on chicken and pork not much beef in the menu. Rooms clean, but need some maintenance and upgrades. Specialty restaurants pretty good.
