    This is our second visit to this resort. It definitely doesn't seem to be as busy this year. PROs: clean rooms, clean resort, beautiful beach excellent for long walks. Sunsets are gorgeous. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is fine. Shuttle service from the airport is a great feature. CONs:.Lots of sound transfer from outside but none between rooms. There seem to be fewer staff in the dining areas- they seem to be rushed and it takes longer for them to show up for removing dishes, offering coffee etc. The showers have very little water pressure. Evening entertainment is ho-hum and there seem to be very few updates from the previous year. There are more beach vendors this year but they are not a bother However, for senior couples and young families it remains a good place to come to. Small kids will love it here and when they are having a good time, the parents will, too!

    The Heart of Ixtapa Beach

    Nice central location on Ixtapa beach. Pool area balances adult partying and kids activities well (separated pool areas). Pickleball and Volleyball activities very good. One tennis court. Great views from ocean suites. SunClub was a nice option for beach seating and separate daytime dining. Could use another specialty restaurant. Expanding the gym would be nice. Bartenders friendly; easy to get drinks. Could offer more biking tours or let guests borrow bikes on their own. Food is OK nothing special.. not many protein options. Coffee bar was popular. Need to break up monopolization of the cabana seats and pelapa poolside seats (reservation system perhaps?). Honeymoon suite room very comfortable. Staff were nice. A shuttle to Zijua or Playa Linda occasionally would be good.

    Sunshine.

    All inclusive hotel on beach. 3 restaurants, sometimes 2 when they use the garden for outside buffet. Cater to more Mexican menu except in Italian. Breakfast buffet has a good variety. Beware of too many spicy dish options at lunch. Always ask. Food is satisfactory. We go out for a different variety as menu does not change-only at buffet. Great staff. Miguel Sandovar Viro, Carlos, Adilene, Roger in Italian, and Ranulfo at breakfast and lunch.

    Girls getaway Feb 2026, beautiful beach

    This resort is average. It is very clean but dated - it could use a refresh. Our deluxe ocean view room had a wonderful view of the ocean and the pool area. The location is good, with shops and restaurants across the street. The restaurant and meal options are limited, it would be great if they varied the menus from day to day. The service in the restaurants is hit & miss. The resort plays very loud music late at night, and it can be heard throughout. Geovani gives EXCELLENT service on the beach in the palapa area, he is definitely a plus for this resort. We got a good deal on the package price, so overall it was enjoyable.

    Great views, great beach, lovely staff and good food.

    A delightful time at a delightful resort. Giovani was our server at the beach every day. He was wonderful, prompt with drinks and thoughtful.
