Sep 18, 2025Front Desk Experience Ruined an Otherwise Great Stay
We recently stayed at this resort, and while most of the staff were excellent, our experience with the front desk left us extremely disappointed. Orlando and his supervisor, Esteban, were by far the most unprofessional and unhelpful staff members I have ever encountered at a resort. There was an error with our room reservation, and instead of resolving it, Esteban acted as though he was doing us a favor. He only came out after Orlando went back to him five times, and when he finally appeared, his attitude was arrogant, dismissive, and unacceptable. Shockingly, he told us that if we paid extra, he could give us the room we had already paid for. Esteban carried himself as though he were “the king of the place,” which was insulting and unprofessional. On the other hand, the rest of the staff were outstanding and deserve recognition. The bartenders, servers, housekeepers, and wait staff were kind, attentive, and professional. Special thanks to Fliberto at the Italian restaurant for his exceptional service, and to Ariel from customer service, who went above and beyond to make us feel valued. In summary: the resort has many hardworking and wonderful employees who make the experience enjoyable, but the front desk—particularly Esteban and Orlando—seriously damaged our impression. Management should address this immediately, as their behavior does not reflect the dedication of the rest of the team.

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The staff were very welcoming and professional, the service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. The room was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely love to come back again.

Filiberto provided fabulous service!
Filiberto in Viaggio restaurant was amazing! He was so friendly and attentive. The food was fabulous! He made some suggestions that were loved by us all!
