    Comfortable stay in Ambergis Caye

    We were a group of 11 that stayed here for 4 nights, end of December, 2025. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and we walked to the hotel. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The only shortcoming is that there is no place to dry your wet clothes as rooms lack a sit out. There pool adjoins the bar and restaurant. The bar offers happy hour drinks. The Blue Water grill is very popular and it is better to make reservations for dinner. There are places to sit in the courtyard and enjoy family time. The location is very close to water taxi, and other trips for snorkeling and diving. It is right in town, so it is a short walk to many restaurants and shopping. You can rent golf carts nearby or front desk can book it for you. Coffee and tea are provided in the morning, water is available throughout for refill. The reception staff and concierge are very friendly and helpful. The staff are constantly cleaning and maintaining the grounds.

    Awesome family hotel

    An awesome hotel for a family. Not too big so the staff is very friendly and attentive. They constantly checked on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed. The hotel’s restaurant, The Blue Water Grill., is one of the best in San Pedro.

    Fantastic

    Loved this hotel. Easy transport from water taxi. Clean room, great service. We loved the restaurant on site. Walking distance to the meeting point of our booked tours with ridge and reef adventure!

    Excellent!

    This was an excellent choice for a short stay. I was impressed by the cleanliness, hardworking, helpful, and courteous management and staff. They went about and beyond for our family to have a restful vacation. I absolutely would stay here again!

    An Excellent Stay with Hospitable people

    I don't really do reviews. I don't mind the stars or multiple choice but I really don't write reviews. But in this case, it's a must. This property is an excellent choice. As a hotel GM myself, I understand hospitality and what a hotel should present to guests. and this hotel did great. The ENTIRE staff, Night Audit, Front Desk, Managers, Housekeeping, Restaurant, Maintenance, ALL of them, were friendly and made sure every bit of the stay was great. The on-property restaurant had delicious food for all meals and was reasonably priced, especially for a beach hotel. By the end of the week, the staff felt like people we had known for years. Getting used to golf carts EVERYWHERE as the mode of transportation took a little while. I mean I could tell you how many, but it is a staggering amount. I could go on, but the only way to really understand this review, is stay there. You will not be disappointed.
