Nov 03, 2026Horrible Experience
Very disappointing experience at Sonesta All-Inclusive. We visited to celebrate our birthdays and were expecting a relaxing, enjoyable experience. We stayed on the 9th floor, Room 953, expecting the adults-only experience and exclusive amenities that were advertised. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to those expectations. Room service was extremely difficult to reach, requests were missed, housekeeping ran out of washcloths, and on our last day, we discovered ants on the nightstand. The designated lounge area also lacked the food options we were told would be available. Overall, cleanliness, service, and amenities fell short of expectations. There was nothing special about the upgraded floor experience, and what was supposed to be a special birthday getaway turned into a disappointing stay. Based on this experience, I would not consider returning.

Oct 28, 20263rd time at Sonesta
This is our 3rd year coming to the Sonesta. We were disappointed this year and shared our concerns. Our accommodations were rectified and I want to thank Shakira, Carmen, Diandra and Voshana for making sure everything was addressed. Special shoutout to Damien for being the best bartender and has such a wonderful demeanor

Oct 27, 2026Friendly resort staff
The staff are super friendly and helpful. Pools and facilities are clean. The food was great. My favorite was the pizza or the burgers that are cooked by the pool. The down fall is there are 3 elevators and no stairs to get up and down the floors. Also, if you rent a car, the parking garage costs $10 usd a day. Super easy parking though, just use your wrist band. All in all, i would definitely come back.

Solo Trip
I am currently at the resort. When we arrived on Thursday with Sunwing we were greeted nicely with cold towel and rumpunch. Special thanks to Miss Anna at the FD she was amazing. She took care of me, she made sure I got to eat before the lunch time was over. She checks on me everyday to make sure I was OK. The food is amazing, I had the best oxtail yesterday at the Palms buffet. The staff is friendly and helpful. Miss Lorna the supervisor is doing a great job. My housekeeper Beatrice is doing an excellent job. My room is spotless, my towels are clean and fresh every day since I've been here. The ressort is clean and tidy. My only observation is there is a lack of entertainment at night. I am enjoying my stay so far. Thanks Sonesta for making my stay worth it.

Needs some TLC
For an all inclusive the choices were very limited. They only had 2 tables with with food choices with a lot of flies on the food. If you want a hot shower good luck. The water was cold or Luke warm at best. The staff was not friendly at all. If you want a 5 star review provide uniforms for your staff. Some wore tatered jeans. Not a good look. In the 6 days there only 1 day had activities at the pool and some of the restaurants outside of the buffet were closed. Whoever is managing this resort needs to look around and see what's going on
- AdvisoryWe are pleased to announce our esteemed Steak Restaurant Lava Rock was transformed into Cantina Paradiso, our new Mexican dining venue and it will be open every day from 6PM to 10PM.
