    LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

    Fun place!! Watching the planes land and take off never gets old! Rooms are beautiful, food is amazing and drinks even more so! Entertainment is great. Pool is awesome, beach is small, but Mullett Bay Beach, stunning, is only a 10 min walk away. No reservations for a la cartes and the food is exceptional! Shout outs to John, pool bbq, serves a fantastic burger. In the Buffet, JANE, Lorna and Darlinson. Mickel in the pool bar. Bernice in security is always on the job. Carrick at the Ocean Point Bar is the best. MickelAnne, Micki, in Entertainment and kids club was so friendly, helpful and loads of fun. Just love it!

    Great week at Sonesta!

    Second time visiting. Amazing and Friendly staff and a lot fun Everything was wonderful. The staff, the food, the drinks were fantastic! We would like to acknowledge Nicole from the Palms and Ramon from the lobby bar. But there were so many friendly and helpful staff all over. We will definitely be back! Water at maho beach was great but please try mullet bay next to resort. Only con is new pool a little too deep to enjoy.

    GREAT vacation get away!

    From arrival to departure, our stay at Sonesta Maho Resort was fantastic. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, the pool area was perfect for relaxing, and the drinks were top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience. Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great getaway!

    Very Disappointing!

    I was very disappointed with my stay at Sonesta Saint Maarten. The food was a 1 out of 5—bland, lacking variety, and only one breakfast option. There’s just one food hut, and it took over 27 minutes to get a dry hamburger. Guests were visibly frustrated just trying to get a burger or hot dog. Customer service was just as poor. On the 19th, I told the front desk that water from the shower was flooding into the hallway and near the bed—no response. I had to call housekeeping myself. Someone came to clean, but the floor near the bed remained wet, so I had to lay down a towel just to avoid stepping in water that morning. To make matters worse, while eating breakfast, a staff member pushing a cart bumped into me and didn’t even say excuse me. Then, at 5:49 PM on Monday, my room still hadn’t been cleaned. I called housekeeping, and they claimed someone would come before 5 PM—but no one showed (see pics). I went down to speak with the supervisor on duty, Angela, who simply justified it by saying many staff were out for the Easter holiday. I told her, “That’s not an excuse—this is a business.” I’m so over this place. Cleanliness and sanitation are vital in the hotel industry, and this stay missed the mark on every level. I would not recommend or refer this hotel to anyone.

    family vacation during spring break

    This was my second time at this resort. I saw improvements but the buffet needs work. Breakfast was mediocre. Melissa needs to check her attitude. She is very RUDE! One day she pointed at my sister and told the young lady at the entrance don’t let her in again. I went to be seated and she ran in and made a big deal with one of the waitresses. Those are things to address in private. She is the cover up patrol as I watched her stare a young lady done and rolled her eyes about her coverup. Some of the folks at the pizza place were doing too much as well if we asked for a whole pizza. I traveled with 24 people so a whole pizza wasn’t out of reach. Mexican restaurant took way too long to serve us we got up and left. Basically we ate off the resort more than we did on. The bars were all great especially the one at the casino. The Jerk Chicken during lunch at the Psalms restaurant was good. The live band at the pool and the hotel could use a little more entertainment such as games etc. The shower water drains out so bad that it floods the bathroom at times. Overall this was an absolutely average stay and hotel.
