Devine vacation at the lovely Solaz
Devine hotel with excellent customer service. They are quick to fix any errors made, helpful concierge team (Angelina), lovely two bedroom with three bathrooms!, A small but lovely pool (and a kids pool area) with friendly staff to help with chairs, towels, umbrellas. drinks, good food. Cascabel restaurant is the best breakfast ever!!! fresh quesadillas, Omelettes made by Chino every morning were delicious, Brian made every meal special. Full time butler service comes with the room- Josua and Benjamin helped us with every need. We jet skiied (private company) from in front of the hotel to near by cove for snorkeling. Did the timeshare meeting for 15% off all hotel food, drinks, and spa plus two 1day passes for the spa amenities. Hotel spa was sooooo wonderful. Thanks to Heidi and her co-worker as well as Fanny for making it so relaxing with sauna and steam and oatmeal scrub. I will be back again!

Amazing stay and staff at Solaz
This was a last minute “before the kids go back to college trip.” We regularly stay at Marriott properties and last time in Cabo we stayed at the JW which was amazing. This time we wanted a property with a beach so gave the Solaz a try. To say it was amazing would be an understatement. The room—a two bedroom suite with view of the ocean—was amazing. The breakfast was stunning—fresh quesadillas every morning?! What!? Hard to imagine that anything could be better. But it was. The service—from waiters —Brian and Chino on the omelette station—in the restaurants to the spa to check in and check out was flawless. Octavio and Jennifer made us feel like family when checking in and checking out. Our personal butlers—Josue and Benjamin anticipated our every wish from dinner reservations to more water to helping adjust anything in the room. They came to our room for mezcal/tequila tastings three times and we talked and laughed. It felt like we knew them forever. If you are lucky enough to have them assist you during your stay, you know what I mean. There are not enough superlatives…perfection is an understatement.

Unapproved charges
We stayed at the 3 bedroom suite for a week at the end of July. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was great. We had a wonderful time right until the very end. We left very early on Monday, did the check out and were told everything was good. Except, later that day they charged us an extra $1,138 US DLS with no explanation. I called and was told it was because of some damage to the Stove, so I requested pictures and they show pretty clear the damage was done during cleaning with some sort of fiber that scratched the surface. There were 5 adults in our party and we barely used the stove, plus the hotel staff always did all the cleaning. We didn’t even have cleaning supplies because they come twice a day and take care of everything, including kitchen and dishes. Last time we used the stove was Sunday morning for breakfast and none of us saw any damage. Moreover, housekeeping was there twice on Sunday and they didn’t report anything until Monday after we left. If the damage was done by us it would have been reported on Sunday at the latest. I am unsure if the pictures are even from the correct room because we no one gave us the opportunity to verify the damage in person. However, the hotel refuses to listen to us or drop the charge, which is basically the cost of a whole new stove. I am never coming back and want to warn everyone who stays at this hotel that they might charge you for anything they want without any proof after you leave.

Beautiful Resort and Great Service!
We just returned from the Solaz and had a great time. Stayed at the Marriott side and surprisingly were upgraded to a plunge pool room with our Bonvoy status. The resort is beautiful and service was great, our Butlers (Jorge/Veronica) were very attentive helping arrange offsite dinner reservations and transportation. The cleaning crew did an impressive job making the room look neat and tidy 2x/day, this made returning to our beautiful room so much more enjoyable. On-site food and beverages were a bit on the pricey side but expected at a high end resort such as the Solaz. The cocktails by the pool were always delicious and you could tell bartenders took pride in making exceptional beverages. We took family photos on-site through BEAM photography and our photographer Marcela was very easy to work with and had a great eye for beautiful backdrops around the property. We met with Veronica at the BEAM office onsite the next day to view our photos, she made the process quick and easy by giving us access to the online gallery so we could select our photos at our leisure then sent us the digital images once we returned home. This process relieved the pressure of viewing all the photos at the office and selecting right away - this allowed us to return back to the pool and enjoy our vacation in less than an hour! Overall we had a great stay at the Solaz which is located right in between San Jose and Cabo, keep this in mind when heading offsite for dinner that it will run you about $70USD RT.

Staff makes the experience!
"We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend getaway at Solaz! The beautiful rooms, featuring refreshing outdoor showers and private pools, were definitely a highlight. However, what truly elevated our experience was the outstanding staff. Excellent service is a non-negotiable for us, and Solaz exceeded our expectations. Our incredible Butler, Josue, anticipated and accommodated all our needs, even surprising us with a personalized margarita cart right to our room! Additionally, Jennifer at the front desk ensured a smooth check-in and out process. We highly recommend asking for Josue and experiencing the resort's stunning landscaping and all its offerings."
