Relaxing Vacation on Island Time
Our first visit to Kauai and we stayed for a week. The resort is open, inviting and welcoming. Lissa, our resort associate was very kind as well. Made us feel very welcome. We arrived after a long flight and she worked to get us in a room early which was an amazing bonus. Our room had a lovely partial view of the ocean which was right outside. Loved that! The housekeeping staff were extraordinarily accommodating and had no issues with any special requests. My only suggestion would be better WiFi. Had terrible time connecting and researching things to do as well as mapping software. Otherwise, everything was as expected.

Beautiful setting!
We stayed 8 nights. Enjoyed the resort, the pool, the hot tub, the nightly entertainment was fun, the restaurants were so-so! We loved our oceanfront room and will be back. Virgie at the front desk was very accommodating. Other staff were kind and always helpful. Thank you Sheridan Coconut Coast!

Would book again
We just spent 5 nights at the Sheraton Coconut Beach Resortbon Kauai. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. Our bed was comfortable, the room spacious and the water hot! The staff was professional, friendly, helpful and quickly responsive. We loved the pool and the scenery. We did not go into the ocean as stated too rough, tho many guests enjoyed the ocean. The property is beautiful, especially at night with fire pits and torches lit. The Luau is fantastic!! Room for improvement: 1) beware that fully oceanfront rooms are a very long hike within the hotel. You can use the ebd stairwell to quickly access the pool and restaurants. 2) The menu is limited if you don’t eat fish, tho the food is good. The breakfast buffet is wonderful! 3) for those staying awhile, either mire drawers or more hangers please! And lastly but most importantly, upgrade the toilet paper please!

Our first Kauai visit after many others to other Hawaiian islands
We visited for 11 days as part of an anniversary trip that started on Waikiki where we'd stayed on our 2nd honeymoon. We have never visited Kauai after spending many weeks on Maui, Big Island and Oahu. This was a good location for us to use the rental car and expore north and south areas as well at a slow pace (as retirees with some physical limitations 10 full days in Kauai was comfortable but might be too much time for a more active couple). The hotel is an easy 15 min drive north of the Lihue aiport and there are many restaurants and shopping nearby. There is a Longs drug next to the parking lot and a Safeway grocers a few blocks away. We reserved a Deluxe Ocean view King with the breakfast buffet. Our first floor room was a bit of a hike from the main desk and breakfast, but was quiet and near handicap parking on the north side. It was also 50 feet from the small beach and ocean with a large patio great for sunrise coffee time and also afternoon beverages (the morning gets hot fast). Your only person traffic comes from the walking/biking trail and a break during the Tue/Thur luau (which we did attend, perhaps not the most authentic compared to others attended on Maui but the convenience of having it 100 feet away was worth it). Overall the room was nice, large, quiet and fairly clean. We only had one instance where they forgot to clean and give us towels and morning coffee packs. We complained, it was fixed that night and never happened again. The bed was good however the pillows are junk, probably the worst we've seen in hundreds of nights of post retirement stays in many brands. Just the opposite the towels were plush, so good I looked up how to buy them on the Marriot site. We don't watch much TV until bedtime and this one didn't have HBO type premium channels however if you have Netflix or Prime you can put your credentials in and watch them just remember when you leave reset them. Another reviewer complained about the noisy AC fan which is fine when sleeping but watching TV we used CC since it was too loud to hear when the fan kicked in. We found the staff at Sheraton very friendly and accomodating to our needs. We took advantage of the free shaved ice, lei making class and a couple happy hours. Honestly we only went poolside a few times, busy enough casually exploring the island most days and our patio was so relaxing we'd just sit there early evening with our own refreshments. We ate one evening meal at Moa Moa that was pricey but very good. We did the buffet breakfast package which varied daily and food quality was quite good; it helped us with a plan to eat a LARGE 9am breakfast then usually around 4pm early dinner on the road saving on meal costs and calories.

We had a great visit!
We had a wonderful stay here! It's blessedly close to the airport so you only have a 15 minute shuttle after a long day of traveling. We had no issues getting lounges near the pool when we needed them. Our room was just enough for us to relax in and cool off after excursions. It was thoughtfully cleaned every day by Eva and Belle. The restaurant staff were all thoughtful and caring especially Alex, Alisha, Kimi, Napula, Rylene, Donna, Melody, Priscilla, and omelet chef Charlie. The Concierge staff Karen and Nikki were both extra helpful and wise with their advise. Overall we had an outstanding trip and we recommend this resort!
