  The island where smiles were invented

  Just 10 minutes from Hewanorra Intl. Airport Coconut Bay faces east into the Carribean with no land to see for thousands of miles. The very pleasant climate gave us a pretty constant 30C the whole of the three weeks we were there and with humming birds, local bull finches and other wild life all around, the feeling of a tropical island paradise was inescapable. But the unique part of our stay and the most joyous aspect were the amazing staff that manager Chris Chin has managed to assemble around him. Chris has a very hands-on management style and could be found working alongside all of the different departments at different times discovering at first hand their problems and encouraging them to give of their best - which they did in spades. St. Lucia, it seems, is the place where smiles originate and we cannot recall a single instance of a straight faced soul amongst all we met there (well maybe airport security). Seriously the most heart warming welcome we have evr had anywhere. The room was kept spotless and the aircon was just perfect and quiet. There was plenty of really hot water and a good supply of Molton Brown goodies to keep us sweet smelling. The food experience was first rate. Serenity seem to undertand that meals have to balanced and vegetables were plentiful. They also understand the concept of hoy plates keeping food hot. Why is that so unattainablke elsewhere? With being there for three weeks we had to control our baser instincts forgoing at least one course per meal to stay in shape. Many of our fellow guests made use of the facilities at Coconut Bay but we found all we needed just in the adults only area of Serenity. Evening entertainment was varied and on occasion, immersive. The inside restaurant with aircon effectively shut out the entertainment if you occasionally wanted quiet. So, to mention a few names: Ginel, Hannah, Jemma, Merista, Tessa, Toya, Solange and Sabby in the restaurant - Outstanding! Thank you ladies. At the bar (and restaurant if circumstances demanded it): Kevin, Lee, Delon and the very laid back Charles who made us relaxed just by his whole demeanour. We lastly would be most remiss to not mention our remarkable butler McCarthy. Nothing was ever too much trouble and smooth must be his middle name. Thank you sir! We will be back!

  Review for Serenity at Coconut Bay

  I’m 37 years old and my wife and I were celebrating our 10-year anniversary (a bit late from August). This was our first trip away together as a couple in a very long time, and honestly, it was one of the best trips I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived at Serenity at Coconut Bay, where we were greeted with two coconut drinks and a full tour of the property, the level of customer service was absolutely top-notch. Every single staff member knew our names and genuinely cared about how we were doing each and every day. Those little personal touches made it effortless for us to truly relax—no thinking, no planning stress. They handled everything: excursions, dinner reservations, and anything else we needed. We were lucky enough to have an amazing butler, Daniel, and the “Batman phone” they give you made it incredibly easy to check in or ask for anything at any time. The views, weather, people, and food were all incredible. As an avid animal lover, I also want to give a huge shoutout to the chief engineer of the Coconut Bay Rescue Center. We were told that over the past year and a half, they’ve helped rescue over 100 dogs back to the States. Being able to spend time with the rescues and see how well they’re cared for was incredibly special. Huge kudos to everyone involved in that program. Cheers to so many amazing staff members who made our stay unforgettable—Daniel, Stolange, Ray, Jonathan (thank you for the coconut drink special, “The Jonathan”!), Garvey, Kristy, and so many others. I apologize if I missed anyone—there were just so many great people. We got home on Monday and I honestly haven’t stopped thinking about the trip. From rum tastings and fire dancing to waterfalls, volcanoes, hikes, and beers with views of the Pitons—every single moment was special. Thank you for allowing us to make new friends and create memories we’ll cherish forever. We’re already hoping to return in the future—maybe bringing the kids to the family-friendly side with the grandparents, and then sneaking away for a few nights back at Serenity for some adult time. PS: If you love working out, they also have an awesome gym on the property. I was up every morning around 4–5am training, then heading back to watch the sunrise, followed by breakfast in bed by our plunge pool. Absolute perfection. Thank you again to everyone who made this trip so unforgettable. 🍹🌴🖤

  New Year's Eve in Paradise!!

  We have been to Serenity on other occasions but never New Year’s Eve… and all we can say is that Serenity does not disappoint! The dinner, entertainment and flowing champagne made the evening very special, not to mention the amazing fireworks display. Serenity is always looking to enhance the guest experience, this trip we throughly enjoyed the recent addition of the bar in the Great House! This is a wonderful place to enjoy a cocktail expertly crafted by Toya. Each and every member of the staff is wonderful and goes above and beyond any expectations you may have. As always, we thank you all for welcoming us home! Kevin, Lee, Charles and Ray you are the best bar staff ever! The ladies at the Great House are all amazing, especially Toya, Tyler, Merista and Solange! McCarthy, as always you spoil us every day! We also cannot thank Chris Chin and McCarthy enough for everything they did for us after an unexpected and extremely stressful hiccup in travel plans. This was just one more example of what makes Serenity so special! See you again in 2027!!

  Simply the best vacation we’ve been on as a couple. Staff goes above and beyond to make it memorable

  From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our honeymoon memorable. The room was excellent, buyer service excellent and resort amenities perfect. We really appreciated Kimberly our butler, and Kevin and Lee for being so accommodating. We can’t recommend enough to couples looking for their honeymoon destination

  Five Stars not enough!

  We just returned from Serenity. This was our first time at this resort. The great service started before we arrived, we wanted to avoid a major snow storm at home so we were able to get our flight moved up a day. So now we need a place to stay, I called Serenity (knowing that they had been sold out) and they were able to secure our room a day early. We arrived at the resort and Ali (our butler) had a coconut cocktail waiting for us. Our room and courtyard was spacious and beautifully decorated. Every morning we had our delicious breakfast delivered to our private plunge pool, delivered by a smiling Tyler. We enjoyed the private volcano/mud bath/ waterfall tour which was thru the resort. We also rented a cabana at the beach (delicious lunch and drinks delivered by Ali at noon). This resort is small, but I say that in a good way! You get to know the staff and they definitely know you. We ate dinner every night at the "great house" restaurant (even though we could have eaten at one of the other restaurants at Coconut Bay resort), the food was excellent and the service was even better. Every day, around noon, my mind would start to wander to the dinner menu. "What will I have for dinner tonight?" I cannot leave out Charles or Deion at the bar! We loved their personalities almost as much as the cocktails they created for us! I am terrible at writing reviews but felt compelled to write about this wonderful resort. So long for now Serenity, we will definitely return!
