Don’t stay here.
I will never stay here again. And especially not at casa Zamná. The pools are filthy. The shuttle is limited. We stayed at cada zamna. If you just hang out at the main hotel, you only have until 2:45 to hang out at the main hotel being if you go past that, you’re stuck until 6:30. The food is less than par. The alcohol is limited. But honestly it’s the filthiness of the pools that is the worst.

Secrets Tulum, excellent service
Spent 6 nights at Secrets Tulum, and had excellent service during our stay. Our concierge, Laura Cruz, checked in daily, making sure we knew the schedule and had everything we needed. We mostly lounged by the preferred pool - Sergio kept our cups full (ask for the watermelon Collins), Ahmed and Ajax always had my favorite daybed ready and made sure we had everything we needed. My favorite is the fresh afternoon towels they bring around! At night, Antonio in the preferred lounge made us the bed espresso martinis! Jasmine was our favorite restaurant and Miguel the waiter brought out several dishes for our large party of 6 to try! Everything was so good. We spent most mornings at Market Cafe, and Claudia and Evret would make me the “morning hangover drink” lol so good, mostly club soda I think. We went off the property one time, exploring the Cenote Calavera - it was only about 10 minutes away. Jesus at the bellhop desk helped us secure a taxi which was so great. Overall, this resort was very clean and very well staffed. We’ve traveled to Secrets Maroma, Playa Mujeres, Playa Blanca, and Cap Cana … if it’s important for you to see the water from the pool then secrets Tulum is not for you. The beach club is chill and well staffed, but a 18 minute shuttle ride from the resort. We only went for half a day. If you’re wanting to get a local Tulum experience but still stay all inclusive, this resort would be a great choice. Thanks for having us, Secrets Tulum! The Ledkins, East Texas

Alexis is an asset to Secrets Tulum
During my recent stay, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Alexis, and I truly cannot say enough good things about him. From the moment I arrived, Alexis went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. His warm and professional demeanor immediately stood out, and it was clear he genuinely cares about the guests and their experience. Alexis was not only incredibly helpful with check-in and providing local recommendations, but he also made sure any requests I had were taken care of quickly and efficiently. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and always had a positive attitude—no matter how busy things got. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and passionate about their work. Thanks to Alexis, my stay felt less like a hotel visit and more like a personalized experience. He is a true asset to the hotel, and I sincerely hope his efforts are recognized. I would absolutely return, largely because of the outstanding service he provided. Thank you, Alexis!

First All Inclusive Experience: Had a Great Time
For our first time at an All-Inclusive we were happy with our five day trip. Our room was spacious and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. The hotel grounds span over a large area and you never feel like any space is over crowded. The various pools provided lots of options to move about. It is difficult to learn how to navigate. The signage throughout is somewhat misleading or incomplete and the elevator floor buttons do not match what the signs say, leaving the guests to figure it out. It took a good 3-4 days to feel comfortable getting around efficiently. With our Hyatt status we were able to access all preferred areas. The daily preferred breakfast at Jasmine was a highlight of our trip with our waiter Jacinto providing excellent service. He went above and beyond to make sure special dietary needs were met. The preferred pool was nice as well and The Grotto was open for preferred lunch. There were daily activities to choose from and usually a nightly event whether it be a show put on by the event staff or a movie night under the stars. Ariel from the event staff helped us find our way on our first day and from then on greeted us each time he saw us and promoted each upcoming event. We took a cenote tour for only $15 that is only offered on Thursdays (and a word of mouth thing, not publicized) . That was a highlight of our trip and we really appreciated Sam from events leading the group and the excellent service she provided. We were hoping for a trip to relax in a tranquil environment and that is exactly what we received for the most part. This was not a party environment which was a plus for us. Just a warning that your privacy isn’t always respected- a do not disturb light is not always respected. We had several knocks despite our DND light on. We also received way too many calls to our room, many of which were unnecessary such as staff calling to ask if our room was cleaned or if we received supplies we asked for (seems they could have internal procedures in place to figure this out). Also a warning to those who don’t want to be bothered with a sales pitch on your trip, the timeshare (they will say it’s not a timeshare) salespeople will try to get you to go to another Secrets location for a tour and lunch with the promise of future paid nights or credits. They will be milling around the lobby pretending to be your best friend. If you receive anything under your door from “VIP Services” or are sent to “VIP Services” after check in just know that’s the salespeople. We attempted to avoid them and they called our room despite not wanting to be disturbed. We finally firmly said no in the lobby to their tour and they wanted an explanation as to why we said no. They really ruin the vibe of this place and despite how friendly they seem they are people to avoid unless you really want to do a timeshare presentation.
