Oct 04, 2024Outstanding- booking again within 4 days of getting home!
This hotel is a credit to Mexican hospitality! For twelve days our every request was met with a smile, from the gate guard, concierges, bar staff and restaurant staff. Our room was “partial lagoon view” but in reality we had a panoramic view from lagoon to the beach. Yes Tropical Storm Helene blew in and the hotel locked down for 24hrs, with a few hours of alcohol restriction but just added to the experience! Things to try, wine tasting especially 1-2-1 with Fabiola and her deputy and Chefs Table ! Minor irritations a waiter in Dragon not offering dessert menu(not just to us), a chef who only want to cook steak his way and a person pushing us to upgrade! Not bad given the number of people you meet in a day! My worry is now it is Hyatt, the corporate need to impose American uniformity will degrade this amazing hotel to yet another place that is the same from Bangkok to Sydney so Americans don’t feel they’ve left the States. If they do then a outstanding example of Mexican hospitality will be lost!

Hotel in desperate need of repair. Ac systems have been broken for months, staff disclosed that owners of the property have known and don’t want to spend the money to repair. Restaurant selections and operations are abysmal. Beach experience is extremely basic. Hotel lacks infrastructure to handle guest load so don’t expect anything acceptable for service level. Better places to spend your money. Preferred stairs is a total waste of money, no benefits at all that mean anything. Spend your money elsewhere for a better experience

Positives: Entertainment, live music, pizza @ Italian restaurant, wait staff, woman making omelettes, jr suite, steak house. Need for improvement: front desk speed, pool chair saving not enforced - people drop a towel on chair and think it’s their chair all day even if never there… don’t be rude people! Would be nice to book high floor room without preferred club package. Very hot lobby level, poor AC in some rooms, little hot/cold shower control, room service food quality.

A very special place
This hotel is WONDERFULL! You can relax, do excelent activities like yoga classes, spinning and calistenia classes at the gym with Efrain (he is a great coach!), entreintment is also great board fit and spinning at the Pool, black jack, volleyball all the team is awsome!! We enjoy the bar very much specially when Pedro explain us about cocktails and tequila ❤️ another big plus are the wine testing every day!! We are coming back son! Thanks for making this a very special week for us! Stefania and Juan

Fun Tequila class
Today I joined Tequilla class and it was amazing. We tried around 10s of Tequila, Lewis was very knowelegeable for all brands and history of Tequila who is a bartender and Diego was very friendly. I really appreciate thier Tequila fun education!
