  Great family vacation!

  We had a tropical view room that was very nice. We were in the preferred section and had 2 of the best butlers. Every morning Gloria let us know what events were planned for the day and took care of our reservations and any incidentals we needed she had delivered. In the afternoons Raul came to find us to make sure everything was going as planned and then took care of all our evening plans. A special shout out to Armando at Sugar Reef! He made great drinks and has a great personality! The property is beautiful and food and drinks are delicious!

  An Unforgettable Romantic Stay at Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres

  Our recent stay at Secrets Playa Blanca in Costa Mujeres, Mexico was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, this was the most relaxing and romantic vacation my husband and I have ever experienced. The resort itself is absolutely stunning. Beautifully designed, serene, and luxurious in every way. Upon arrival with our Preferred booking, we were welcomed with a private check-in and a glass of champagne, which immediately set the tone for the trip. We were graciously offered an upgrade to Building One, giving our swim-out suite a breathtaking ocean view, an upgrade we were incredibly grateful for. After check-in, we met one of our butlers, Rafa, who took wonderful care of us in the Preferred Lounge and Bar while our room was being prepared. When we entered our suite, we were blown away. From the bed, we could see both our swim-out pool and the ocean. The room was spacious and beautifully designed for two, featuring a comfortable seating area, dining table, luxurious bed, double vanity, a huge soaking tub, and an impressive waterfall shower. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was having Rafa and Eddy as our butlers. They went above and beyond in every possible way, anticipating our needs before we even thought to ask. One evening, Eddy steamed one of my dresses before dinner. On other occasions, they helped us secure spa appointments and reservations at the Teppanyaki (hibachi) restaurant. On our final night, Rafa outdid himself by transforming our room into the most romantic setting, complete with a bubble bath, rose petals, and chilled champagne waiting for us when we returned from dinner. It was unforgettable. During our stay at the pool, our concierges were Elias and Celeste. On our second day, Elias noticed us heading to a morning spa appointment and kindly told us he would save our favorite chairs from the day before, a small gesture that meant so much. Celeste was incredibly attentive and warm, constantly checking on guests to make sure everyone was comfortable. At one point, she even walked around the pool cleaning guests’ sunglasses, which perfectly captured the level of service at this resort. We decided to purchase a bottle of wine to reserve a private table for two at the Mexican Night dinner and show on the beach and it was 1,000% worth it. The food was delicious, the performance was fantastic, and we were lucky enough to have Javier as our server. We had such a great conversation with him, and we were pleasantly surprised when he was also our waiter at the Teppanyaki restaurant the following night. He remembered exactly what my husband and I had been drinking the night before and took exceptional care of us once again. We also want to give a special mention to Leonardo at the Preferred Bar, who consistently delivered excellent service and made every visit enjoyable. We truly cannot say enough good things about our stay. Secrets Playa Blanca exceeded every expectation and truly delivered on rest, relaxation, and romance. We are already looking forward to returning.

  Fabulous!

  Fabulous holiday. Thoroughly enjoyed life at the Preferred pool, looked after by Celeste, Eli, Victor & Maria - the A Team! & not forgetting the wonderful service from our butler Daniel, who provided outstanding advice on how we can bring our son & daughter to the resort next year (the standard bathrooms are not quite sibling friendly). This is an amazing resort, this was our second visit & delighted to say we have booked for next July.

  Unwind in Paradise: A Must-Visit Escape!

  This is a must-go to resort! Let's break this resort down. Location: North of Cancun and a 45-minute drive from the airport. We used Amstar for transportation. The resort sits on a much quieter side of the coast, but does have construction on the south side with a new resort being built. The construction did not hamper our vacation at all. Atmosphere: Once you arrive to the resort you will pass through two levels of gate security before you arrive at the check-in area. If you are Preferred, you have a separate check-in room to go to. You are met with cold towels and staff who are kind. The check-in process was smooth, but be careful of the promotional presentation after initial check-in, which took us 20 minutes to get through and made us feel quite uncomfortable as we told the lady "no thanks" multiple of times. After check-in, you enter the resort you will find great foliage, pools, restaurants, and entertainment areas. Everything was easy to get to and it had a peaceful feel to it. Rooms: We had an Oceanfront room, which was amazing for the morning sunrises! Instead of sleeping in, we would get up at 6:30 a.m. each morning to watch the sunrise from our balcony. What a beautiful view! The room itself was clean, bed was comfortable, and plenty of space for clothing. If you need multiple outlets for changing, be sure to bring a power strip. Value: For our first time to Mexico, it was worth the money spent. When we go back, we will probably not do the Preferred Club level just because we can access almost everything without being a Preferred member. Cleanliness: Overall, it was clean. There aren't many trash cans around the communal areas. Housekeeping could have vacuumed the room floors while we were there, but overall, everything was neat and tidy. Noise Level: The Oceanfront room had very little noise. It was quiet and peaceful. The social pool was where most of the day-noise was at and during the night it depended on what entertainment was being offered. Service: If you go Preferred, I cannot say enough positive things about Eddy and Rafa! They were our butlers for our stay and were phenomenal! Both were attentive, kind, and detail oriented. They helped make spa appointments, ordered us special coffee one morning, and fixed any issue that arose. Amenities: The Preferred pool was nice to have, even though we had to go down by 7:30 a.m. each morning to find chairs. By 9:00 a.m. chairs were full! The Preferred Club, the food never changed and stayed the same daily, but the staff were incredibly nice and there was good service. Highly recommend Himitsu as the top restaurant to go to! Coco Cafe was also a very nice amenity to have. In-room amenities were good too. Overall, our experience was a positive one. We enjoyed our vacation at this wonderful resort! Would we do things a bit differently next time around, yes, but we would recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for that relaxing vacation!

  Incredible Family Vacation

  What a great family vacation. Secrets Playa Blanca was the perfect place to spend time together and enjoy the holidays. The food and service were incredible. The views from our balcony were unbeatable. I highly recommend this resort.
