  Fabulous stay at SPB!

  We just returned from an incredible stay at Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres and can’t say enough good things about our experience. First and foremost, a huge thank you to our amazing butler team, Julieta and Martin. Although I felt our needs were small, they were always available, incredibly responsive, and made everything effortless—from answering questions to taking care of every little need, before we even knew to ask. Their attention and warmth truly elevated our stay. The food was consistently great, with plenty of variety and no real long waits. If you do have to wait, just grab a buzzer and head to Rendezvous for a drink. The buzzers work around the property. Pool chairs were never an issue to find (don’t listen to other complaints - if there is a roller towel in the chair it means it is available 🙄) and there was always plenty of space at the bars and restaurants. Even with our group of over 300 people, the resort handled everything seamlessly. It genuinely felt like they managed our large group without missing a beat. The property itself is stunning. The rooms, the beautifully maintained grounds, and the beach were all excellent. The layout is so nicely spread out that I don’t think couples visiting during a large group stay would feel any difference at all—there’s always room to relax and enjoy. We had so much fun at Desire Club in the evenings. And don’t miss the silent disco night—it was such a fun highlight! We had the best time and are already hoping to return. Highly recommend!

  Fabulously!!!

  Our concierges Alfredo/Gloria catered to our every need, Halahandro and Josue pool boys made an anniversary sign at the pool and made sure we were comfortable on the lounges even cleaned our sunglasses, Angel was our waiter at Bordeaux with the mostest he made us a cheese tray from a cart which was a surprise, Odetta waited on us at the outside warmer than efficient meeting our every need, Victor our waiter at the preferred club even went outside the restaurant to a cafe to get ice cream,Edwardo preferred pool always was attentive with drinks and anything we needed.

  Wonderful stay, felt completely safe with food allergies

  We had a wonderful stay at Secrets Playa Blanca, and as someone with multiple food allergies, that truly means a lot. Traveling with allergies can be stressful, but Fernanda Canul, the Food Concierge, made the experience exceptional. From the start, I felt completely safe dining at every restaurant. Breakfast is often the most challenging meal for me, yet the chefs consistently ensured I was accommodated each morning. At dinner, Fernanda personally came out to check on me and confirm I felt comfortable and confident with my meal choices. That level of care was genuinely above and beyond and made a meaningful difference in my experience. The food was very good overall and consistently well-prepared and enjoyable, even if not particularly extraordinary. Most importantly, I felt completely safe dining throughout my stay, which made the experience far more valuable than any single standout dish. Even at the more casual lunch spots, I felt reassured knowing the kitchen staff were informed and taking my allergies seriously. The beach and pools were both beautiful. We specifically chose this property for its beach, as we prefer beach time over pool time, and it did not disappoint. Service throughout the resort was warm and attentive. The overall vibe of the resort was relaxed, and it never felt overcrowded. There was even a wedding happening during our stay, but it didn’t disrupt the atmosphere at all. We traveled as a couple and found it perfect for a romantic getaway, but it would also work well for a group trip, especially for those looking for a more laid-back, upscale experience. We booked the base-level Junior Suite King and were still very impressed. The room felt spacious, well-kept, and had all the amenities we could ask for. We would absolutely return.

  A True Oasis

  Do not miss your chance to experience this oasis of a resort. You will not be disappointed. The staff all over the resort really know how to deliver a luxury experience... cannot say enough about how they anticipated our every need throughout our stay. The resort was clean, beautifully designed, eco-friendly, and had amazing amenities. The beach was stunning and clean of seaweed, the pools were large and there were multiple options for pool experiences. Our room was just stunning... claiming to be a partial ocean view but we had a full ocean view beyond the resort, it was just beautiful! It remained quiet, with minimal-to-no audible noise from outside the room. We ordered room service a bunch of times too, and were fascinated by the way they delivered room service to a hidden compartment rather than interrupt us in the room. And the personal touches of flowers on the bed, turndown service, or surprise treats delivered for our mini honeymoon celebration was just so special. I can't say enough about how great of an experience we had and we truly can't wait to visit again someday.

  Definitely worth it.

  My wife and I went on our honeymoon here and had a wonderful time. Eduardo and Miguel were our butler's/ concierge and they were both top notch and helped us with every question we had. The weather was a bit cool for late January and early February. Otherwise it was great resort and very clean with everything we could have asked for. Multiple little surprises from the resort in celebration of the honeymoon My only comment at all is maybe related to the very cool weather and lots of outside dining we chose to do. But the food while very elegant and tasty was sometimes not as hot as I would like. Almost forgot. We had a swim up room which was excellent
