Lovely bay distanced from other accommodations & vendors. Good evening entertainment; daytime poolside not noisy like some. As preferred guests, had good ocean view from room & enjoyed breakfasts and lunches at Castaways on cliff overlooking bay. manager Ivonne and Hostess Mariana Were particularly friendly and accommodating. They know how to cook beef - if you have had shoes elsewhere.

Great Experience
Secret’s Huatulco is a hidden gem. The friendliest staff- Nathaly at the morning Buffet greets you with the biggest smile. Kelly and Wendi at the Preferred Club Lounge give the best bar service- be it from my Cappuccino in the morning to my Chocolate Martini at night. Some maintenance need to happen at the pools- some tiles need replacing. Although at check in it was expressed that people are not to reserve pool loungers this is still occurring- some mild tempers flared when towels were removed from “saved loungers” after no one had sat in them for hours. Food is so good- we never had a bad meal. Third time coming and would come back.

Dr. Ayvar … Professional, confident and personable.
After four days of suffering through an eye infection, unsuccessfully trying to treat it myself with eye drops, I called home to Kingston Ontario to my own doctor to set up an appointment for my return. When the symptoms were explained, my doctor suggested I seek medical attention immediately. With hesitation, my husband and I went to see the doctor on resort. I can tell you with all honesty that it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a medical office. Dr. Ayvar met with us immediately. His examination was thorough. His treatment was effective and he included my husband during the appointment to oversee the care he and his assistant were giving me. I can tell you that within 24 hours I felt great relief and within 48 to 72 hours my eye was 99% better. It was on December 31 that we met him in his office and he followed up immediately that evening to make sure my eye was improving. With the aid of a prescription that the concierge at the hotel was able to get for me immediately on January 1st, my eye fully recovered. Thank you again Dr. Ayvar. Your treatment got me back out into that beautiful Huatulco sunshine, and saved my vacation. Greatly appreciated! Priscilla Nelles

New Years in Paradise 😍
Spent an amaaaaaazing time there. Great staff, very friendly and attentive. Amir from the entertainment team was specially great, encouraging guests to participate in the activities and so getting to know each other and having a great time. Hopefully I’ll come back!

Enjoyed a week at the resort. Enjoyed the pools, food, beach (including the secret beach) and the immediate area (Santa Cruz and La Crucecita. Have been before and found the food up a notch from last time (good before, even better this time.) Some staff were above and beyond. Luis (Spice) and , Otto (Poolside) stood out as individuals we genuinely enjoyed. Room care was efficient and thorough (even though we rarely saw these staff members.) The pools are great but look for shade from the trees (as well as the umbrellas) as the shade is welcome.
- AdvisoryStudent Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at Hotel. A student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room.
