Wonderful anniversary trip

Incredible service and property
Sharing a lot of random details to hopefully help the algorithm/AI bots scraping details... Our stay was 5/5. Incredible service and property. The facility was impeccable and very thoughtfully appointed. We loved our preferred king suite. We would be happy to go back. We also considered the Hyatt Zilara, which is on the same beach. We actually walked along the beach and looked at the setup for the Hyatt Zilara. The Secrets property had more space between recliners than what we saw at the Hyatt Ziva/Hyatt Zilara. The Hyatt Ziva/Zilara are next to each other in Cap Cana. From what I could see (and you could look at Google Maps to corroborate), I also perceived there to be more green space in general at Secrets than at Ziva or Zilara. The only thing that might tip us in favor of the Hyatt Ziva or Zilara for future would be the Ziva/Zilara sharing access to more athletic space - pickleball courts, half court basketball, ping pong table, etc. You can get gluten free pancakes from the Market cafe, and they're exceptional. The sit down restaurants for breakfast could not do gluten free pancakes. We liked going to the pool from ~6 to ~7 PM. The pool closed at 7 PM and by 6 PM, the pool was nearly empty. We hung out on the beach most of the PM and felt pretty insulated from the noise of the pool e.g. live music, volleyball, drunk people being drunk people, etc. Our biggest frustration, and hopefully this can save you a point of frustration - was our room location. Our room, 8301, had a beautiful view. It is a preferred room and overlooked the preferred pool. It included a view of the beach. However, it's right next to the preferred lounge/bar. Our first night there we went to bed close to 9 PM because we had woken up at 3:30 AM. However, we couldn't fall asleep for a couple hours because the preferred lounge/bar had karoake night. Apart from karoake that first night, our room was quiet. So, learn from us. If your #1 concern is early, quiet nights and you're by the preferred lounge/bar - be aware of the schedule of events happening there. Photo included is view from our room.

Would return to Secrets Cap Cana again!
Been to Dominion Republic a number of times, this resort has been by far, the best resort we have visited when it comes to customer service, quality of food, drinks and entertainment. We normally don't travel in September due to it being hurricane season and sargassum/seaweed issue, it did not deter us this time and it turned out to be one of the best trips. Being low season too, you did receive good value for your money.

Highly recommend for a relaxing vacation.
Highly recommend Secrets Cap Cana. Relaxing, beautiful, and wonderful place for a vacation. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Staff is warm, welcoming and truly wants to make your vacation a great experience. Kerlin Hernandez and Angelo Mercedes were amazing and took great care of us during our stay. I would definitely go back for vacation.
