2 stars but could of been 4 stars
I really wanted to give this hotel at least 4 stars but I began to have inconveniences. At check-in, there was a lot of construction going on that was very noisy. I didn’t mind it as much, but that was the first thing I did notice. It wasn’t a very tranquil check in process. I chose the seafront suite with Jacuzzi on the balcony But upon trying to utilize the Jacuzzi, we noticed yellow water coming out then I also noticed that the same thing was happening in the bathroom. I called the front desk to let them know and they sent maintenance to help out, he Let me know that the filter for the Jacuzzi was dirty Unable to fix the issue because of the tight space. So I called the front desk again To ask for a Different room since we didn’t feel comfortable. They said they needed to contact their coworkers and find the room for us although this hotel has over 500 rooms and it is not fully booked. I spent almost $300 for one night and I am still unable to use the Jacuzzi that I specifically booked. Property can be taken care of better and I would say if that was done this would be a four star hotel. The food and drinks were good. That’s the only thing I am satisfied with. I wanted to leave a review just to warn others About this situation so they don’t have to inconvenience the way we were. There’s a lot of hotels here and they should take pride in serving the people who choose to come here and accommodate them properly

Best bartender and pool server EVER!
Our family had a rocky experience because of hurricane Helene … but I just want to take a minute to appreciate and leave a huge thank you to the bartender Israel and the pool server Armando ! The work ethic and absolute best service was remarcable! They both turned our not so great overall experience into one to remember with nothing but smiles !! Thank you guys !!! Till next time !!

Hotel
The air conditioning unit was not able to maintain comfortable temperatures. The lowest it got was 25°C. More effort is needed to let people know not to pee in the pool.

Friendly and attentive Seadust employee, and the food is amazing!
I can't complain about the friendliness and attentiveness of the Seadust employee. For every request we had, they made sure to follow up if it was already completed. They have enough variety of food to choose specially during breakfast time. The only thing I negative I a can say is the breakfast hall and lobby are is hot during our stay. But, most likely want to come back again. Keep it up!

kids had fun but.......
ARRIVAL the resort looked great on arrival..check in was smooth and painless ROOM Rooms, especially bathroom were outdated. have a pair of slippers for the shower...I couldn't let my kiddos step in it barefoot. we encountered a about 2 tiny roaches...we didn't stay in the room too much, we were always out and about but its worth mentioning. the cooling system worked great. BEACH this is not a beach, it should not be advertised as such. its not the resorts fault, its really just the location of where the property sits. its not a beach, its not ideal for kids, and it had really high tides that proved unsafe. POOL The resort had one general pool area, that was basically divided into levels/sections. I feel the pool could've been cleaner and colder....esp because it was so hot. WATERPARK The kids loved the waterpark and had fun...BUT there were not enough shades for the lounge chairs if you needed to take a quick break or for the parents watching their little ones. ...just fyi. GAMEROOM this was nice and okay...it was kept cool, so this was a plus. LIVE SHOWS this was a HIT with my kids...we always looked forward to the shows later in the evening...the entertainment team did a really great job and I give them a 10/10!!!! I enjoyed the shows myself. ZipLine and mini golf was also fun. We missed out on CHEF dusty and the parades. AREA there was nothing close by the resort where we could take a stroll...everything nearby required a taxi cab and I was not comfortable exploring with my kids in tow. this is something to keep in mind...there were lots of push for us to explore outside (ie. dolphin show, etc...) but we didn't comfortable doing that, so we stayed in the resort the whole 4 nights. FOOD big ben 5 flourencia 5 samurai 4 (ugh!) manhattan, a solid 8-9. we went there twice for dinner! food gallery/breakfast buffet...have a mini fan handy because there is no AC in this big hall. just a bunch of standing fans that weren't enough in my opinion. Hotel STaff: they were friendly enough, it just would've made more impact if they were able to converse in english, esp restaurant staff. this was not a deal breaker for me since I understand this is a foreign country and you gotta roll with the punches. food for thought: it seemed the targeted audience for this resort is more geared toward spanish speaking guests and this is not a bad thing, its just something I noticed...a lot of the nice and wonderful families we met came from other Spanish speaking countries. so per my title, the kids had fun (ages 5 and 10) but I don't see us returning to this resort.
