  All that glitters is not gold on the internet!

  I took my mother here for her 70th bday and they placed her on the 3rd floor. Her room smelled like mildew and needed cleaning. She was then moved to the 10th floor where the balcony glass had a large crack in it! I stayed on the 11th floor and was disappointed with a few things. This resort seems like a great deal however renovations are needed here. The hottubs in the deluxe rooms need reglazing, there is no pressure from shower heads and the water just trickles out. The elevators have no ac and you are sweaty as soon as you step off. Non of the bartenders know how to make drinks and the food is so/so. The pool is over populated with a lot of kids and the hotel does not bother to rake and remove the seaweed/algae washing ashore. The experience was unfavorable.

  Our Amazing Anniversary Celebration

  The staff was amazing from house keepers to the restaurant personnel. Ericka was a fantastic host. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and she made us feel super special. I recommend The Seadust for anyone looking to travel for your anniversary or with family.

  Feedback on Recent Stay – Room 239

  I recently stayed at your property and wanted to share my experience, both the challenges I faced and the positive moments. Check-In Experience Unfortunately, the check-in process was extremely frustrating. I arrived at 2:00 PM and found only two staff members handling check-ins, despite there being six others at guest services and two more at concierge. I was told my room would be ready in 10–20 minutes, so I left my luggage with concierge and went to have lunch and enjoy the pool. When I returned two hours later, my room was still not ready. The front desk attendant left me waiting for 20 minutes without any updates before finally confirming the room was available. I was then told by concierge that my luggage would be brought to my room, so I went up expecting to find it there. However, the room itself was not fully prepared—the floor was still wet, there was no wine bottle (which I’ve received in past visits), and the minibar was empty. I decided to rest after a long flight from Canada, expecting my luggage soon. But after three hours, nothing had arrived. My phone had died, so I returned to the lobby to ask about my bag—only to discover it was still in storage and hadn’t even been sent. I ended up retrieving everything myself. Dining Experience at Samurai Restaurant Later that evening, our group (we had three rooms: 702, 318, and 239) attempted to dine at the Samurai restaurant. It was busy, and we waited patiently for over two hours. Unfortunately, once seated, the service was shockingly poor. The waiter had a dismissive attitude, didn’t offer menus or drinks, and when I tried to place an order, he responded rudely: “Was I talking to you? Ladies first.” I found the tone unacceptable, and although I tried to let it go, the poor treatment continued throughout the evening. I eventually spoke to the manager, who was very kind and apologetic. He offered us improved service the next day without a wait, which we appreciated, but we declined due to the negative first impression. Positive Experience at the Buffet On a brighter note, I want to extend a sincere thank-you to the team at the main buffet restaurant. The service there was outstanding—from the hosts to the servers, chefs, and even the busboys. They were warm, attentive, and professional throughout our stay, and their efforts truly stood out. Please extend my gratitude to them for their exceptional hospitality. Closing Thoughts I hope this feedback helps improve the guest experience moving forward. I’ve stayed at your hotel before and have always enjoyed it, which is why this visit was especially disappointing.   Bad experience

  Poor service, air conditioner not working in multiple bedrooms, pool was not clean. Shower did not drain properly… and be ready to wait more than hour to get food in any restaurant

  Dirty, crowded and slow service

  Unpleasant stay, lines of up to 45 minutes to get into any of their restaurants and then service is super slow to get low-cost all-inclusive food. Beverages are awful with only the cheapest and even unbranded liquors unless you are member of their timeshare. The jacuzzi on the rooms has disgusting brown water and the pool is not clean.
