    Fantastic location, great staff

    The location and scenery are fantastic. The meals are satisfactory but not at the level of some of all-inclusive Mayan hotels. The hotel is within walking distance to the town which is a must. All of the staff are tremendously welcoming and very helpful. Guests are always greeted with a smile and friendly welcome. The rooms are very clean and well attended to each day. The pool activities are engaging for all whether you participate or just observe. The entertainment staff are welcoming, funny and gently encourage participation. Ishmail (sp?) at the VIP pool was always helpful and managed the bar perfectly - he does a wonderful job. Antonio helped with our bags, provided a few tips about the resort and offered helpful advice. There are 5 restaurants to choose from giving a variety of food choices. They are not all open at the same time, so it is helpful to plan ahead for meal time. The main restaurant, Don Diego, has a breakfast and dinner buffet, perfect for families or for those who want to try a little of everything. The meals are not gourmet level but there is a wide variety and there is more than enough to try something new each time. The staff are more than accommodating as there is the option to take food back to your room instead of sitting at a table. If you are looking for evening entertainment, something is happening at the hotel every night finishing before 10:00 p.m. which gives you time to head out to the nightlife of Cabo San Lucas. The sunsets and sunrises from the beach and many areas of the resort are a must see.

    We ate dinner at Don Diego’s at Sando’s Finisterra and Moise’s was amazing!!! The best server! Food was so good! The express & dirty martinis were delicious. Our party loved every single dish we got. The service was top notch. Moise’s was the best!!

    Could not have asked for a better experience.

    To start we had never been to Mexico or an all inclusive resort, so we really have no baseline from which to compare. However, everything about this resort exceeded our expectations. Yes the place is the oldest resort in Cabo but man was it clean and tidy. 99% of the staff we passed would say hello or would acknowledge you with a smile. The food options were decent and the food was varied and tasty. May is considered off season in Cabo so the town was not too busy and the resort was nearly empty (which was perfect for us). We would definitely book there in the further.

    Sandos Finisteria

    Enjoyed my stay at Sandos Finisterra! Ready to go back. Staff was kind and gave great service! Avrado greeted us upon arrival and was very resourceful. The resort is beautiful. You get the best of both worlds! You have views of the marina and the ocean.
