Located on a wide stretch of Condado Beach, the golden sand is a sunny spot for pulling up a lounge chair, while the kids search for treasure. Ready for a cold one? Let the kids navigate the children's pool, while you swim-up to La Isla Grill and Pool Bar for a passion-fruit mojito. Swim up an appetite and indulge at one of four restaurants; we love grilled grouper in a zesty, tamarind sauce at La Vista Latin Grill, or cannelloni di aragosta (pasta stuffed with lobster ragout) at Ristorante Tuscany. After dinner, it's time to experience San Juan nightlife. Share a dance with someone special at 1309, or head to BLU for piña coladas and DJ jams.
From food to fun, guests enjoy everything about this resort. Challenge the kids to a game of beach volleyball or a friendly tennis match. Feeling lucky? Stellaris Casino has more than 426 slots machines and 26 table games for you to woo Lady Luck. Rather spend your cash on something with a guaranteed return? Ocean Club Spa delivers pure gold with the Jet Lag massage. Relax and let the essential oils and plant extracts ease your back and neck after a day of fun.
Between resort and beach fun, Old San Juan's rich culture deserves your attention. Three historic forts, Fort San Felipe del Morro, Fort San Cristobal and El Canuelo, were designated UNESCO World Heritage sites in 1983 and offer fascinating daytrips along with San Juan's great shopping. When you're ready to call it a night, the Deluxe City View Room sleeps a family of four comfortably. Staying with someone special? Check out the Ocean Front Room and share a romantic sunset on the balcony.

Bad food and beverage manager
I’ll write a longer more inclusive review later but it’s July 4th, we’ve been here for 2 days, this is our 3rd. My husband goes to get a beer around 1:00. The coolers are empty the one bartender says all the beers are warm. No wait staff. Great property, very poorly run. I get it that they’re just getting back to semi-normal. The pool is too full of people so you can get in. There are tons of people here who aren’t guests. We’ve been staying here for 20 years and we can’t stay here anymore.
Puerto Rico!!! Come visit!!!
Beautiful rooms and great customer service, Karlin and Juan from the front desk were awesome and very helpful. Carlos from the pool made our stay even more fun. I appreciated the fact that they were very adémate about our health and safety through this pandemic, that’s why I never stay anywhere else but Marriott hotels! I highly recommend this property.
Mediocre at best
We booked 3 rooms checking in June 17. Called a few days ahead to confirm they were connecting and the front desk even confirmed when handing me the keys the rooms were connected. We get up to the 8th floor and there were 1 or 2 rooms between each of us. I let it go hoping to have an enjoyable vacation. The hotel itself is nice, lobby area is well maintained. Cabana rooms were nice, nothing spectacular and definitely not worth the price. The standard Marriott menu was cut way back due to covid, the burgers were burnt a d on Saturday we had a chicken and rice bowl from the grill where they took our $20 and handed us food before telling us we were on our own for forks. The food we were able to get was all around bad. 1 single pina colada from pool bar cost $14 and they were generic premixed. Housekeeping did not come once during our stay. We were told they would come every 3 days but not even one time! Pool and beach chairs were impossible to get due to the resort hosting a discount to local residents package. We were in the adult side of the pool with at least 50 (not kidding) screaming children plus their drunk parents. The place was a complete zoo! There was no chance of relaxation with SOOOO many screaming kids. We have 4 kids and are no stranger to rowdy children, however I am shocked the hotel allowed SO many people into a pool that has no life guard. We literally saw a guy save a strangers kid from drowning. Regarding covid protocols, there were sanitizer stations setup in lobby and elevator but there were consistently empty. Coffee machines have been removed from rooms. There was someone at the door checking temperature about 25 percent of the time. We are not hotel snobs but have been fortunate to stay at some beautiful resorts over the last several years however I would not count this hotel in that category. In fact this stay might make me not stay at any Marriott again. The only nice staff we encountered was the bartender at the indoor bar, she was super sweet.
Jose Gonzalez, general manager, was rude to my sister and I. I had a wristband but not my sister. My sister told him my aunt has it inside and he kept Asking what room. I told him I’ll get the wristband and She can wait in the lobby. He said I’m following protocol and my sister said “well yesterday I came and nobody asked me anything.” He would not listen to what we were saying at all, even when we gave him the information he was asking for, and he said he would call security and police. In today’s climate it felt as if he was saying that as a threat. He said my sister was aggressive and I told him she’s just speaking, just listen to her...she isn’t being aggressive. Being aggressive is getting in your space, shoving hitting etc. this was not what was going on. He created an entire spectacle, and it was embarrassing for us. As a manager instead of descalating the situation he escalated the situation. we left but came back because we had a right to be there, our family had a late check out of 4pm. This entire show of force left a sour taste in all of our mouths. This is not the Marriott way. I am a Mariott vacation club owner and I’ve worked for Marriott so I know how Marriott should treats their guests. I’m devastately disappointed.
Great place great customer service great atmospher. Me and my husband came for our honeymoon and we loved the puerto rican culture the vibes are great and we are now looking into buying some property. Thanks to our wonderul stay at this place we will most definitely be recommending this place to family and friends.
