    Family Vacation

    We had such a wonderful time here at Royalton Splash! Our butlers Milton and Pablo were super attentive, accommodating and welcoming! They made our dinner reservations for the week so we didnt have to worry, staff was very attentive, our daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Kids Club and all the fun activities! Our only complaint would be lack of communication with appointments, they some how scheduled my appointment at the spa 2 hours earlier than originally planned, they ofcourse still got me in and the services were great! Same thing happened with the Prime tour, they scheduled 1.5 hours earlier than we had originally discussed but it was still a wonderful experience.

    Big talk under delivered.

    Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun – Avoid at All Costs This resort was extremely disappointing and stressful from start to finish. At night, multiple raccoons were freely roaming inside the lobby, which is shocking, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable for a family-friendly resort. Staff appeared unconcerned and treated it as normal. The tipping situation was uncomfortable and inappropriate. Staff bluntly demanded $50–$100 USD tips just to provide basic service. This constant pressure made the stay feel exploitative rather than welcoming. Food was another major issue. There were very limited options for vegetarians, with repetitive, poorly labeled dishes and little to no accommodation despite requests. For an all-inclusive resort, this was unacceptable. The pool conditions were disgusting. The water was full of hair, debris, and other floating waste, clearly showing a lack of proper cleaning and filtration. After using the pool, we experienced skin irritation/allergic reactions, which raises serious concerns about hygiene and water safety. The worst experience happened at check-out. We were presented with surprise charges that were never disclosed beforehand. When we questioned them, staff forced us to pay and threatened to call local security if we refused. This felt intimidating, unethical, and completely unprofessional. Service overall was poor, rooms were not properly cleaned, and the resort felt disorganized and poorly managed. For the price paid, this experience was unacceptable. Between wildlife in public areas, staff demanding excessive tips, lack of vegetarian food options, filthy pools causing skin issues, and being pressured with security threats over unexplained charges, I would strongly warn others to stay away. I would never return.

    Very good time.

    We were there for 10 days. We had an excellent time. Our butlers Andres and Francisco were fantastic. They went beyond when we needed them and were always ready to help us in any situation. The Vibe staff, including Omar, Angel, Yuli, Leon, and Miguel always played a special part to make our days enjoyable. Ernesto, at the diamond club pool bar, always had a smile on his face and eager to serve. There are 10 restaurants, 5 pools, a lazy river, and entertainment every night. You can be busy every minute with activities around the pools or relax and just take in the activities from afar. The resort was clean, and all the staff was helpful and friendly. This is an excellent resort and can't wait to return again .

    Wonderful place for families with kids

    We as a large family group of 6 adults and 2 children (ages 2 and 6) stayed at the Royalton Splash at the beginning of January. We opted for the Diamond Club and were delighted we did. Our 2 butlers, Pablo and Milton, were extraordinarily helpful in making our trip outstanding. From planning our daughter's birthday and decorating our cabana at the Diamond Club pool and her room door to meeting the special needs of all of our family members including the kids. This made for a seamless, outstanding vacation. Daniel and his team (including Pablo, Juan, Claudio, Victor, Wilbur, Steven, Esteban, Mario, Ernesto, Ricardo and Jorge) always made sure our drinks were full and our food, towels and other needs were met. Bartenders were very friendly and happy to quickly mix up any drink that came to mind. Nighttime entertainment was the best we've ever experienced at any resort and met the fun needs of all our family member including the little kids. The ballon makes and face painters delighted both of our grandchildren. We look forward to returning.
