Carmelo at the pool was amazing we love her the rest of staff ever very good too For ane new resort it's very run down it doesn't look new at all The food was not that good we did a lot of restaurant and we even did culinary experience and it was wast of money we love all other royalton this one need to learn a lot from them we will not be back to this one

Jun 13, 2025DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!
Positive: Ma Mansion (French cuisine - Alfonso was great) and Zen Teppanyaki (hibachi) are best restaurants that we were able to try. Water park and pool we enjoyed. Property and views were beautiful. That’s all… We arrived at 10:30am, so of course I knew the room wouldn’t be ready. However, at 3pm, we were told they needed 20 more mins. After 20 mins, we returned and they requested another 20 mins because there was a maintenance issue… we ended up finally getting in our room around 4:30. Room had a moldy smell every time you walked in, the AC seemed to not work well so I requested a fan (thank God they had one), and the wall connecting shower and bed area would leak randomly after using shower. Never could figure out where the water was coming from. Buffet was disgusting, food under or overcooked, constantly running out of items, unruly kids running around wet and touching everything. Some guy from room service kept hanging up in my face when I was trying to place an order, only reason for the call was because the app would not let you place more than one order. Overall, service was terrible, staff were rude, and they seemed to cater to Latin and European customers more than anyone else, guest services listened to complaints but seemed nothing was done to correct issues or staff didn’t listen to them either and follow through with what they were requested to do. I tired to be patient and extend grace, but there’s only so much BS I can tolerate. I would not return or recommend this location to anyone.

Jun 13, 2025Food was just ok, but the rest was wonderful!
The resort is absolutely beautiful. They had a lot of entertainment during the day and the evenings. The main pool had Volleyball, A Water Balloon Battle , and an aerobics class, all of which were SO much fun! The water slides were intense but fun! Wish the lazy river was better, it was very slow and most of the time you ended up walking yourself. Maybe it was the off season , but the pools closing at 6 was really weird. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping kept the rooms nice and clean. The food is just ok , we tried a lot of different places. Could be so much better. Staff was fantastic, the tours offered from the hotel were great! We did Chichen Itza, and Tulum and they picked us up at the hotel. Swim up bars were fantastic!

The hotel is looking good but not have enough restaurants for All clients. They never have an open reservation available in any restaurant. Buffet is good but never have a beef , pork , chiken enough for all
