The resort check-in was fast and the resort is clean and maintained well. The resort staff and service is excellent. The restaurants were all great. We tried the Brazilian, steakhouse and the international buffet. The breakfast buffet was great. We ordered room service two times the first time it was fine but the second time the chicken fingers came uncooked, my son and I caught it before we swallowed any of the uncooked chicken. Just like any resort, you have to check your food to make sure it’s cooked properly. The pool bar had good service, but the pool bar did not have beer on tap which made the bartenders have to go up top to get anyone a beer, which took a lot of time and customers waiting. The entertainment was great for kids, and the waterslides were a five out of five.. the children’s play pool was excellent and the lazy rivers were very relaxing. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort and plan on bringing my family back next year.

Amazing family trip!
We had an AMAZING time at Royalton Splash! Our family was blessed to have Yareni and Clarissa take care of us during our stay! From the moment we stepped on to the resort, we were treated like royalty- no pun intended ;-) Thank you Yareni & Clarissa for answering all of our questions, for your professionalism and always being attentive to our needs! We highly recommend your family book a trip at Royalton Splash in Cancun- you won’t be disappointed! <3 The Meyers Family

Overall a really nice vacation - would recommend
We had recently stayed at a Royalton in DR so we knew what to expect. This property is much nicer than the Bravaro in Punta Cana. The property itself is stunning and huge - the main building, the restaurants and all the rooms form a semi-circle around the pools and beach- with the water slides to the far end of the resort. There were so many pools to choose from including the “party” pool with the swim up bar, an activities pool with a volleyball net and a milder chill pool. This doesn’t include the diamond club pools which we didn’t partake in. There is a large children’s area that is fenced off - with mini water slides- and a lazy river that is small but does the trick. The pros: - plenty of seating by the pool, although you do need to get to the pool at 6 am to grab a seat - the buffet food was so good with many many options. The omelette station in the morning was one of the highlights of each day - the shows every day were entertaining - mj tribute was fantastic - the vibe team always kept things entertaining - whether it was beach volleyball or poolside trivia - scoops had delicious gelato with different flavors daily - the taco trucks by the pool for lunch had food that was so fresh and authentic - best Mexican food I’ve ever had -the fitness center was the nicest fitness center I’ve ever seen in a hotel - they have a multi sport field and a Tennis/pickleball court which is nicely maintained The meh: -the drinks were just fine. I didn’t expect much from an all inclusive but they weren’t watered down - the beach was small and we couldn’t go on because of the bacteria in the water That’s not the hotels fault but it just meant that pools were insanely busy - rooms were fine but the place is HUGE so very easy to get lost -the reservation system with the Royalton isn’t the best, but again - not this locations fault The cons: - lots of weddings and bachelorette parties meant that there were LOUD and drunk groups which isn’t really suitable for a family resort. No one from the resort tried to curb the rowdiness (people playing their own music with really explicit language while there were many kids at the pool) - long lines for the pool bars - the pools got dirty during the day - cups everywhere including in the pool

Very nice food and service
Lovely night in Taj, food and service was very good. I'm from uk so some Indian dishes weren't on the menu that I'd normally choose but the food was all still good.
