This was my second time visiting Royalton splash Punta Cana. I will never stay here again. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The check in process is too long. After i finally got checked in. I realized my sheets were dirty and the towels were dingy. The bathroom door was broken and would not close. I called the front desk to complain. No one ever showed up. I then walked to the front desk with the dirty linen and complained further.There was no urgency it was as if they didn’t care. Again No one showed up. So we just had to settle for dirty sheets, dingy towels and the bathroom door not closing. The next day I called to get a blow dryer. The blow dryer never showed up. Finally upon checking out the front desk made us stand in line for 30 minutes to check out while the driver waited. When i asked if we could just be checked out our driver is here. I was told oh well he has to wait. Very unprofessional.

I went on a small vacation with my son. A Royalton splash you can find the most welcoming staff, as for my butler Johnny is on of the best. He ensure that every thing is ok at any given time. We enjoy our stay at Royalton splash and we are looking forward to our next visit some time next year!

Royalton Splash - give it a look!
This is our third trip to this resort. I have read the many negative reviews about this resort, but can only say that our experiences have been great. I will add that we always book the Diamond Club level so I cannot speak to the experience of those who do not book it. First, with Diamond Club, you are assigned a 'butler.' He or she will welcome you on arrival, escort you to your room, reserve all your meals and excursions, answer any questions and check in with you multiple times a day to see if you need anything. Our butler is Edwin. He is the BEST. He speaks English, French and Spanish. He adjusts all activities to any requests you have and solves any problems - of which we had NONE. The place is just lovely. The beach has thatch huts and servers will come by often to get you food or drinks. The many pools are either bustling with activities for young and not so young or relaxing with quiet music. The staff from the housekeepers to the maintenance to the waitstaff are friendly and helpful. Sure, there could be some updating on the rooms, but they were clean and the mini bar was stocked daily with our requests. We had hits and misses with the multiple restaurants, but overall, my family enjoyed it. If you are expecting gourmet food, then maybe your palate will not be happy, but we aren't that sophisticated and enjoyed what we ate. There is also nightly entertainment, but after a day of beach, pool and beverages, I was often too tired to do anything but kick back in my room.

Best 7 days evers!
We had an excellent 7-day stay here. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. We received support and assistance throughout our visit. The facilities are outstanding, immaculately clean, and offer numerous leisure options. Undoubtedly, the best 7-day vacation ever!

I 100% agree with the review that Sightseer40930694123 shared. The only difference, we did have a Diamond Club upgrade and it was just ok. So many of the Diamond privileges' require you to pay additional money. The cabana rental for instance. It also only came with one restock of the refrigerator. I have traveled to many all inclusive properties in multiple countries and I have just realized that as a well traveled individual with high expectations', I need to stay at higher end properties. The Hyatt all inclusives do me right every time. I opted for a more budget friendly property due to the group size and I 100% question this choice. Royalton is not high end. Though, I do think the new side will be far superior than the splash side. Rooms on the first floor are bug infested - 4 of the 10 rooms booked were bug infested, 2 rooms had to be moved. The 3rd room, on the last day woke up to a dresser full of bugs and there was no accommodation made. I hosted two private events, the food for the private events was far better than the buffets. Several members of my party, including myself were sick. The spa was amazing. The scrub and massage were perfect. This just was NOT the experience I desired. The casino is a joke. Go to the Hard Rock for a real casino experience. We made the best of the situation; no one from my group of 28 would stay at a Royalton property again.
