  Great experience at Royalton Splash!!

  Just returned from a 2 week holiday from Royalton splash punta cana, 2 families 4 adults 2 children age 5 and 14. Short transfer from airport which was great, we jumped in a private transfer on the way there for cheap price. The atmosphere in the hotel was great, bar staff friendly especially around the swim up pool, entertainment team great! Look out for Wenson he helped us with all our restaurant reservations we didn't eat in the buffet for main meal once. Mexican, Italian, steak house, zen, jade all fabulous, under the sea not so good food or service. The rooms were spacious and they were cleaned every day, our mini fridge was topped up for a small tip. Never a problem getting a sun bed around the pool. Short walk or shuttle to punta cana hotel that you can use also which was a bonus, beautiful beach and great burgers in the beach van. The only negatives we have are that our 5 year old son was not allowed on the water park despite being 120cm we argued this on several occasions as he is a strong swimmer and dead on the line but apparently you have to be just over 120cm although TUI website says 120cm, this was disappointing for him. On the TUI website also says there is an arcade however this is no longer there and was removed 2 months ago. Great coffee shop, staff friendly and helpful, great choice of sandwiches coffees and cakes! Simon and his entertainment team were brilliant getting people involved and up to dance and get involved in activities! The sunset on the beach is amazing and great for photographs! Hotel grounds tidy and well maintained. Trips we booked through TUI were well organised we went to saona island (long day but well worth it) buggys which exceeded our expectations, monkey land was brilliant cannot miss this!! My husband and friend went scuba diving which they reported was fantastic too! On most occasions we were last pick up and first drop off even for transfers which was a great bonus especially when you have children! Fabulous hotel would definitely recommend!

  Hard to not listen to bad reviews but had an amazing time

  We are in block 28 right next to the pool and water park. None diamond members. Everyone i have spoken to are struggling to book restaurant. We have been to one every night. We just asked Wenson (brilliant guy) to book them for us. Gave him a tip, he was more than happy with that. No salt so bring some if you use it. (We did) Italian restaurant on the beach 😋 service a little slow but food was lovely. Bella Italian was better the service was brill and the food was amazing. Mexican was beautiful service was amazing. Sewin looked after us, he had a massive smile on his face and you could just tell he loved his job. We went here twice. Sports bar food was great, service a little hit and miss but not to bad and returned a few times. Quite hot in there tho. Jade was lovely food. We paid and went to Zen for my 40th and its the best food I had. We also paid for the steakhouse again brilliant 👏 No sunbed wars.... every morning I watch a man clean all around the pool edges and sweep and mop the pool floor with a massive mop.... Swim up bar staff happy to serve, all like to have a little dance. Beach is beautiful 😍 people selling stuff but just say no thanks and they move on. Definitely cut them down on price. I wanted a massage she wanted 45$ I got her down to $14... Coconut man wanted 20$ i got it for 7$. The lady in the shop is rude and its very expensive. Buffet isn't great but always something. Cafe the coffee is beautiful and the cakes are nice. Its my 40th birthday while here. I have been given bottles of champagne/prosecco. I have had it poured over my head. They have definitely made and effort. Julie was our tui rep she was very helpful and always on the end of the phone if we needed her. We booked 3 trips with her. Buggies, saona island & monkey land and had a brilliant time on all 3. We booked a car for 4 hours with Royalton Excursions they took us anywhere we wanted we went to see the church & visited a school gave sweets, drinks, paper and crayons. They were all so greatful. Noel was our driver and he was fabulous. Big shout out to the entertainment team the best team every. Simon and his team were amazing, got everyone going, big shout out to Sexy chocolate and Omar, well all of them. They are just the best. I even got a birthday present off them. One down fall and thats the app. Many people struggled but find Wenson or one of his mates knocking around the pool and they will help. We didn't have tean at the buffet once. The food at dinner time was better at the food truck by the beach. Must brings..... Cups, salt, Floats, and plenty of sun cream. I used 10 in 14days For 3 people. Yes there's a few things I could find wrong if I wanted. Few tiles missing, shower leaking a little but it didn't effect our holiday at all. A few minor problems at small at not worth mentioning. Met amazing people from all over the world. Would I come again absolutely 100% we came as a group of 6 and we have all said its one of the best holidays we have been on.

  Amazing experience at The Royalton Splash Punta Cana

  This was our first time at the Royalton Splash and first time having g a butler. We had an amazing experience. We booked with diamond club and our butlers Ernesto and Edwin were absolutely phenomenal, they went above and beyond for all of our needs and made sure we had everything we were supposed to have in our room as well as anything we needed on resort. From booking à la cartes to ensuring we were having a great time as well as checking in everyday. They were very polite and helpful the entire trip. We also had some other great experiences with the diamond club pool. Jose was amazing and very attentive in making sure we had all of the drinks and snacks we needed while at the pool. Elias was a fantastic bartender and Elisabeth from the score bar was amazing. We had trouble getting into the score bar at one point because the kitchen was running behind and she made sure we had a place to eat no matter what. She was better than most servers right here in Canada. We would definitely recommend this hotel, but book the diamond club for the extras.

  Terrible experience!

  I can’t fit all of the issues into this review, let me just mention terrible service, 3 hour check in, moldy food, sewer smell in rooms, rooms dirty, equipment did not work, etc. They tried to charge me although I used Marriott points and they would not give me the name ofvtheir General Manager or his email. Serious concerns with this property!

  DC is worth it for Cesar

  We did diamond club and had Cesar as our butler and it made all the difference he was amazing! Anything we asked he delivered! The food overall was mediocre that’s the only thing that kept me from a 5 Star review. Overall the staff were nice and beach and pools are beautiful. There are sandbags but they didn’t bother us at all.
