Great Family Vacation – Highly Recommend the Diamond Club!
We had a wonderful stay at Royalton Splash Punta Cana! The kids absolutely loved the water park — it was the highlight of the trip for them. If you’re planning a visit, definitely consider upgrading to the Diamond Club. It’s worth it for access to the Royalton Punta Cana next door, where the restaurants and food options are noticeably better. The beach is beautiful, the pools are clean and relaxing, and the entertainment team keeps things lively and fun. Our Diamond Club butler, Edwin B., was amazing — he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The kids even joked about asking him to help build a sandcastle… and honestly, he probably would have! Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely return

The water park is great the whole family enjoyed it, the pools are good we spent lots of time swimming. The beach is really nice, but sometimes crowded and hard to find a good spot, you should get there early to reserve a decent chair. The staff were very unhelpful they acted like we were a major inconvenience, even at the bars there were very few friendly bar tenders. The app was terrible we could never get a reservation at the restaurants. When we were able to get a reservation it was at 8:15 or 9:15 which is no fun with small kids. When I visited the help desk several times they were not helpful at all. The final night I thought we finally had a reservation at the good restaurant, it was confirmed on the app. We wait until 8:00 to go and when we got there it was closed! It was very disappointing for us. The buffet food was not good at all, there was lots of food but very little that we actually wanted to eat. Even the restaurant food was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend going here, I think there are a lot of nicer places to vacation that have better food and nicer staff.

Disappointing Experience
Our stay at the Royalton Splash Punta Cana was, unfortunately, very disappointing. While some staff were pleasant and tried their best, about half the staff we encountered were grumpy and unhelpful, which really brought down the overall experience. Booking dinner reservations was extremely frustrating. The resort’s app barely worked, and the people in charge of booking through it often made mistakes. One evening, we even booked a restaurant through the app only to arrive and find it completely closed. To their credit, the staff did accommodate us with a free dinner at the nicer buffet, but it was still an inconvenience that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Housekeeping was another issue. We had to request simple items like towels and body wash multiple times before they were finally provided. For the amount of money we paid, we expected far better service and attention to basic needs. The food and service across the resort were generally poor. We frequently waited a long time for drinks at the bars, and several restaurant staff members were quite rude — with the exception of the Mexican restaurant, where both the food and staff were great. On a positive note, the activity coordinators were friendly, engaging, and made the days more enjoyable. They were one of the few highlights of the trip. Overall, our stay at Royalton Splash Punta Cana was disappointing to say the least. If the process were easier, we would absolutely request a refund, as we paid for a much higher standard of service than what we received.

Amazing experience at the Royalton Spalsh Punta Cana
Overall an excellent stay. Clean resort and service was superb all around. Elvin our butler (part of diamond club) was very helpful and helped us with any and everything we asked for. Would definitely recommend this resort and would love to go back in the future.
