Great beach. Friendly staff. Love deck facing the jungle. Efficient check in and out. Enjoyed the Caribbean restaurant the most! Food was adequate Need: hand sanitizers, change gross smell entering buffet, more coffee stations.

Reasonable price for all inclusive. The only negative was the food and food service. The buffet was mediocre, the restaurants were good but almost impossible to get a required reservation and room service missed half of the orders.

It was okay. We were fortunate to only have to eat at the buffet one evening, it was not good. The rest of the dinners were good. The bars would run out of ice and different liquors. Always a long line for coffee and lunch. We had great weather and a good time and we were on vacation, so you can’t complain about that. I would not go back though.

Dani and Brandon are the best! Aqua fit is so much fun!
We were a group of three couples, booked the hideaway royalton. The resort is very elegant, we got the deluxe room with jacuzzi. Good selection of restaurants and pool areas. We reserved in advance on the first day to try most of the restaurants which you need to do via the app. For breakfast Dorado(hideaway only) and buffet are available. For lunch we did a mix of Dorado and Grazie (italian). Both were great. Alternatively the chef2go food trucks and sports bar open around 11am for those who miss breakfast and want a quick bite. The coffee and gelato place called Scoops became a fast favorite. Try the banana split gelato. The resort has a long stretch of beach, however it was a bit too rough on most days we stayed so we didn't swim much in the ocean. The seaweed was also everywhere in large clumps, I think they could clean up a bit more. The Beach bar at hideaway is a nice little lounge area to sit in the shade. Service is best at the main pool if you want free flowing drinks. Such a great time with Dani and Brandon from the Royalton vibeteam for post noon aqua fit activities in the pool. Aqua zumba and aqua bike(must book via app) are just fun and must try in my opinion!!! They offer other activities at the table behind the pool but they were just okay and spots fill up fast. The layout and amenities took a while to get used to but are good. Bathrooms near the pools are clean, there were workers maintaining the grounds and cleaning up all the time. Overall a good value (even though we aren't big on alcohol). Just be aware it's hard to get pool side seats because people reserve them way too long. Don't forget to bring a straw for your drinks, and some after bite for mosquitos at night!

Great time at the Royalton
Overall a great experience at the resort! The gym/pickleball courts were fun. Dani made booking the courts an easy experience.
