  Brilliant holiday

  Hotel was brilliant and the vibe team was a vibe especially Pokémon from the vibe team was brilliant too he helped us with a lot of things and was professional and takes pride in his job will be back definitely.

  ⭐ 0 Stars – If I Could Rate Lower, I Would. DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is a disgrace. My family and I had one of the worst experiences of our lives at Royalton Punta Cana. 💰 Over $300 was stolen from our in-room safe. Yes, the safe. When reported, management responded with a lazy “72-hour investigation” knowing full well we were checking out the next day. Nothing was done. I witnessed another guest in the lobby reporting theft, and found a Google review from a week earlier where someone claimed they were robbed by resort security. So no, this isn’t an isolated case — it’s a pattern, and it’s being ignored. The rest of the stay? Absolute trash: 🛑 Brown water from the sink and toilet ⚠️ No running water at one point ⚡ Constant power outages 🚫 Room service never showed up 🧼 Room was filthy: broken glass table, dirty floors, foul odor 🌧️ Hallways flooded when it rained 🔁 We had to switch rooms because the original one was that bad 📸 I’ve attached photos of everything — including the disgusting water and filthy conditions. This place is a scam. Unsafe, unsanitary, and totally unmanaged. ❌ Bottom Line: Zero stars. I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. If you value your safety and your money — RUN the other way.

  Lively resort with stunning beach, fun staff, great activities, and solid excursions

  Just returned from a fantastic stay at the Royalton Punta Cana and overall, I’d give it a strong 4 out of 5 stars. There’s a lot to love here, especially if you’re looking for a fun, activity-filled beach vacation. First off, the staff were absolutely amazing – not just helpful, but genuinely hilarious and full of energy. Big shoutout to Mr. Bum Bum and Pokémon (Salomon) who kept the vibes high and the beach lively. Whether it was beach volleyball, dance classes, or just some friendly banter, there was always something happening, and they made it unforgettable. The beach is stunning - soft sand, clear water, and tons of activities both on the beach and around the resort. There’s never a dull moment if you’re looking to stay active, but it’s just as easy to relax and enjoy the view with a cocktail in hand. When it comes to excursions, book through the hotel. Trust me. I compared prices with TripAdvisor, GetYourGuide, and a few others – but the Royalton excursion desk always had the best deals. Big thanks to Jorge and Jean who helped us sort out everything smoothly and professionally. Now, a few money tips: be aware that tipping culture is heavy, especially around the beach. You’ll often get approached by people offering to take pictures with iguanas, parrots, etc, and then ask for tips afterward. It can get a bit pushy, so just be firm and only tip if you genuinely want to. Also, watch out for card tax when paying with a card, it can add up quickly. Where possible, pay in Dominican pesos, as it gives you the best exchange rate and value for your money. We upgraded to the Diamond Club package, which had its perks, like premium drinks and a private beach area. However, the butler service didn’t quite live up to the hype on the website. Ours was polite but not very present or helpful. That said, the rest of the staff really do treat you like royalty, with or without the butler. Now for the reason it’s not a full 5 stars: the food. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. It lacked variety and there was a noticeable lack of vegetarian-friendly options, which was disappointing for some in our group. Given the size and reputation of the resort, we expected more in terms of dietary inclusivity and overall quality. All in all, though, I’d definitely recommend Royalton Punta Cana if you’re looking for an upbeat, social, beachside getaway with great people and plenty to do. Just go in with realistic expectations about the food, and make sure to give a nod to Mr. Bum Bum and Pokémon when you get there – they really made the trip special!

  Bad decision

  The reservation app never worked. Room 4115 was constantly damp. The shower kept leaking water onto the floor. The food in the restaurants was mediocre. Communication between the butlers and the front desk was inefficient. Furthermore, they bombard you from the moment you arrive to purchase a timeshare.

  Vacation at Punta Cana was amazing.

  This really felt like a vacation. The rooms are very nice and cool. The beds are comfortable, the pools are so clean, and the beach is perfect. The service was great especially our butler Romeo. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Full disclosure we were diamond club. The only negative thing I can say is that the food the just ok, definitely nothing to rave about especially if you are a picky person from America. All in all it was a good experience.
