    I was not impress with this hotel. I was sent to the wrong location when i check into the hotel. I was disappointed in the food at this resort. The selection was not the best. I did have a great guy assisting me around the resorts and with restaurants suggestion. My room was nice but i did see a roach on my last night. I do not think i will be going back to this resort.

    Fabulous all-in location with great weather

    We were a family of four in two rooms. We enjoyed most of the food (a couple of the restaurants weren’t great but the buffet and steakhouse were fab) Massive shout out to all the fitness team who put on excellent activities and the Ents team in the day and the evening who also helped make our holiday. Although the beach has some issues you don’t have to go far for sand and clear sea and the pools were great. The clientele at the hotel was important to us and we were really happy that everyone was really respectful and having fun

    A great holiday!

    Excellent staff, friendly and caring. The food had lots of variety and was delicious. Entertainment was also very good. The Michael Jackson show was our favourite. Accommodations were amazing with very stylish furniture and great cleaning staff. The grounds were adequate. The showers by the beach were almost not operable with very little water coming out of them. The drinks would be nice to be made somewhat from scratch instead of pre-made mixtures from a bottle or slushy machine. The recliners by the beach seemed excessively dirty with the cushions looking like hundreds of sweat and sunscreen vacationers having used them. They were also tightly positioned together with no room to catch any sunshine. The poolside recliners were much better with lots of room to locate sun and bathe plus hide from the excessive heat. The pools were also very refreshing and well maintained.

    Exceptional Service and Beautiful Updates at the Hideaway

    This was our 3rd stay at the Royalton Hideaway and our 7th trip to the Dominican, and once again, it was fantastic! Check-in with Joel was smooth and welcoming. Huge shoutout to Robert, the wine sommelier, who went above and beyond to save our anniversary beach dinner when we had app issues—service like that is unforgettable. And of course, our favorite bartender Antonio at the Hideaway beach bar—always friendly, attentive, and serving with a smile! The resort was spotless with beautiful updated rooms and décor since our first visit in 2021. The beach was clean with plenty of seating and towels, and the Hideaway pool was the perfect retreat. We loved the variety of fitness activities—David and Juan’s yoga classes were a great way to start the day. Food was a little hit or miss, but breakfast was always great, the food truck was perfect for casual lunches, and we especially enjoyed Grazie (Italian) and our romantic beach dinner. Overall, another wonderful stay. We can’t wait to return this winter!
