  Very nice

  I had an incredible experience at Royalton Punta Cana. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with warm smiles and excellent service. The resort is beautifully maintained. Fernando helped us and was very kind to us. He also helped us with the luggages.

  everything was very goog we do not said bay, but we have to go back home to come back again, dorka and efrain are excellents, they helped us with information and minibar extra.

  Great Hideaway Staff

  My wife and I had an excellent time on our trip. We traveled there with a group of 7 friends. We stayed at the hideaway but used the Punta Cana part of the resort too. However our staff at the pool bar Juan and Maria and Joslin were all amazing! They made sure we had what we wanted, were friendly early in the mornings when they were preparing for the day and evening time when they were leaving. Always saying hello and making conversation. We also had a great experience with Anthony at the front entrance with our bags. He was the first person who made an impression. He helped welcome us, walked us to the hideaway check in and having conversation on the walk. We saw him throughout our week there, he always smiled and waved. He went above and beyond one evening when I ran into him on the way to the front desk to ask a question. He helped answer it quickly and even picked us up and drove us to the splash side of the resort for dinner. He then helped us with our luggage on our last day as we loaded to leave. His smile and attitude were amazing. These are just a few of the staff and examples who helped make our trip wonderful. Others would include JP from the vibe team, and Zen Chefs and staff who made a birthday celebration for our group so fun and the gals in the coffee shop where we got coffee each morning.

  Terrible

  We’ve just arrived this evening after a 9.5-hour flight, and the experience has been shockingly poor so far. I will update this review if the hotel fixes the situation, but right now this is unacceptable. We are a family of four (3 adults + 16-year-old) and were given a tiny room with only two proper beds. We were told the sofa is the extra bed — completely inadequate for a resort at this price. There were no covers for it either. The room is also right next to a full-blown disco, making it impossible to rest. Inside: no towel hangers, one tiny cupboard, mould in the shower, and a rusted shower head. This is absolutely not what was advertised and a terrible start to our holiday. If the hotel takes action to fix this, I will update the review. For now, this is one of the worst arrivals we’ve ever experienced in the Caribbean.

  Butler Made the Whole Trip

  My family and I recently visited Royalton Punta Cana. The experience was amazing. We had a butler level room and our butler, Nelson, was outstanding. He made the whole trip. My son has a peanut allergy and he always ensured that there were snacks in the room for him. Nelson made all of our dinner reservations took care of anything and everything we asked. Our room lost power one evening and Nelson made sure everything was fixed by the time we got back from dinner. I was told that the butlers have up to 30 rooms that are their responsibility and if that was the case we never knew it. Nelson checked on us every morning and found us every afternoon to just check in. He was always prompt with his responses even when he was off of the resort. I would say there were aspects of the resort, such as the food at the restaurants and just in general being an older resort, that could turn a person off from going back. That being said because of Nelson we will definitely go back. He made our whole experience amazing!
