  Amazing time!

  I just returned from a wonderful weeklong stay at the Royalton Splash in Punta Cana. We had a group of twelve ranging from 3 to 67 years old and everyone enjoyed it! We booked diamond club as when here previously we really liked all the extra perks that it gave us. Especially the butler service…last year we were lucky enough to be assigned Antonio, who made our experience incredible, and this year we were able to request him again. He absolutely goes above and beyond and is a wonderful asset to the resort. If you get the chance, request him! We were able to get dinner reservations each evening for all 12 of us. The food is great at the restaurants as well as in the buffet. We ate breakfast and lunch at the buffet on the Punta Cana side as it seemed to have more options available. Also- the burgers behind the swim up bar on the Splash side at lunch time were some of the best burgers ever! The water park was fun for all ages, we spent an hour or so there a couple times during our stay. We booked a diamond club presidential one bedroom suite, which was perfect for 2 adults and two teenagers as it had a door separating the rooms so we did not have to see their mess! Also the extra full bathroom was helpful. My daughter celebrated her 14th birthday, and Antonio got her a delicious cake and decorated her room beautifully for the occasion! From food to drinks and pools, waterpark, and service, we have no complaints! We are planning next years vacation already. Remember if you book diamond club to request Antonio for your butler, he’s the best!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 — Incredible Family Stay at Royalton Punta Cana

  We just returned from an unforgettable stay at Royalton Punta Cana, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation. We stayed in the Chairman Suite, which was absolutely perfect for our family of four (my wife and me, plus our 14- and 17-year-old). The suite was massive — two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a spacious living room, a pool table, a full-size refrigerator, and six balconies with beautiful ocean views. We booked this suite to make sure everyone had plenty of room, and it delivered far beyond anything we imagined. One thing you must try when visiting is the Culinary Experience. It was one of the standout parts of our trip — unique, interactive, and truly impressive. If you enjoy great food, this experience is absolutely worth it. But the true highlight of our stay was our butler, Johnny. He was exceptional from start to finish and genuinely made our trip special. He made sure our snacks and drinks were always fully stocked, and even after he went home for the evening, he still arranged for more drinks to be delivered to our room. He handled all our reservations seamlessly and even made a last-minute change so we wouldn’t miss one. His level of care, attention, and kindness was above and beyond anything we’ve ever experienced — he truly elevated our vacation. We also did several excursions, and all were fantastic: Reef Explorer, Scape Park, and Aqua Adrenaline were incredibly fun and memorable for the whole family. Overall, Royalton Punta Cana gave us a perfect blend of relaxation, luxury, and adventure. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and will absolutely return. Highly recommend — especially if you’re lucky enough to get Johnny as your butler!

  Over charge for trips

  We actually had a great time at the Royalton Punta Cana, we thought the buffet and bars were great. Our main issue was we booked a trip to Saona island through the hotels inhouse travel company Nexus. You have to negotiate the price, we booked, after speaking to some other guests I realised we paid more than them, so I returned and cancelled the trip. A colleague on the Nexus stand heard this conversation and said she could offer a better price, therefore I re-booked through her. On check out, my husband paid for the rips, what he didn't realised is that they had charged for 2 x Saona island trips. Our coach arrived, therefore guest services said to leave it with them and they will refund $380. I have emailed so many times to chase the refund, my emails are largely ignored or promises that it has been refunded - which it has not, therefore we are having to raise a formal dispute. All in all this is a real shame as before I only had good things to say about the hotel, apart from they charge $30 for a box of tampax! I would never recommend Royalton as a brand as they can not resolve simple issues.
