As others have said, the location is unbeatable. The hotel sprawls across a huge section of the beach and offers highly desirable beach chairs. Plus, the grounds themselves (except when under construction) are gorgeous. The hotel is worth it just for that. Just don't expect anything more. (1) First, many facilities will be closed. When I got there, they had just closed the gym for nearly 2 months, with no legit replacement. (They put a couple pieces of equipment in a tiny, terrible hotel room, clearly knowing it was unusable. They put most of the equipment in a larger room where guests couldn't use it). Many pools were closed without explanation. The hotel was pretty empty, so maybe they just didn't feel like maintaining facilities for the small number of guests. (2) They bill themselves as a resort with entertainment, but don't count on anything. They post a schedule everyday, but it's largely fake. The first time I showed up for a class, I waited ten minutes, confirmed with the front desk that it was happening, then waited another 20 minutes, then the front desk said "the teacher checked during the 5 minutes you checked with us" (i.e., they blamed me). The next day, I waited for the same class for 30 minutes. After waiting, on the way to complain to the front desk, I found the supposed teacher who'd been assigned setting up Christmas trees. So the front staff lied to me, and the entertainment schedule was just a straight lie. I received no apology for the lying and blaming. Likewise, there was almost never anyone working the towel hut (which made me nervous about the $30 fine for not returning towels), and it was hard to get food at breakfast because the servers were so stingy. The room was fine, though the fridge didn't work properly. Finally, the beach is gorgeous and perfect swimming, but the parts in front of the hotel swarm with salespeople who constantly harass tourists. While the hotel has security, they do nothing about this. You simply cannot relax on the beach without constantly being sold things against your will. It's very frustrating. Overall, I'd stay here on a discount, as long as you don't expect more than a beautiful beachfront hotel with a substantial free breakfast.

AMAZING server and service from Shenard!!
Shenard was AMAZING! From her service to her drink making. She kept the energy alive, especially after the busy week my friends and I had. Definitely enjoyed her company!

Wonderful dining experience
Stayed at this hotel for 3 days. I had dinner at the buffet held on Saturday evening. Shenard was my server. She was excellent. Very personable and made this experience great overall. Would come back again!! Thank you Shenard

Great experience on my business trip! Great food, drinks and service!
The best experience ever! With Shenard we had the best time in Grenada! Her vibe! Service! Was the best! The music was also nice, they have live music with the nest vibes!
