  Best morning exercise classes with Daniel

  Did yoga and circuit training every day with Daniel, who is a total legend…. What a great start of the day, felt energised by his enthusiasm and expertise. BAM !!

  Royalton Chic Antigua

  Just got back from a week at Royalton Chic in Antigua. It is only 15 minutes from the airport which is very convenient. The resort itself is beautiful, well maintained, nice pools and great beach. The resort is well laid out so it doesn't feel crowded. The rooms were a good size and were nice. The food is good but nothing spectacular including the specialty restaurants. Also the bars frequently ran out of items to make drinks but there seemed no urgency to restock We signed up for the diamond club which included "butler" service. We arrived to a double queen instead of king which could not be switched until later in the week. When we got to the room there was no towels. We requested towels but we could not get towels until the next day after 9am. It was hard to keep the room fridge stocked. In general the communication with the butlers/front desk/staff is poor. Butler service in our case meant rarely seeing them and when we communicated, it seemed hard to get answers or information. Things I wish I had known. - The Pescari restaurant has a $40USD /person extra fee - There is a curtesy room where you can shower and get ready if you have a later departure but you need to book the room in advance - On your final day you need to check out at the front desk in person before noon.. Even if you communicated with your butler that you are out and have had your luggage picked up. $35USD charge. This resort could be awesome if they can resolve their service and staff issues.

  Unforgettable Honeymoon Experience

  Royalton CHIC Antigua – The Perfect Honeymoon Destination! We chose Royalton CHIC Antigua for our honeymoon, and it was hands-down one of the best decisions we could have made. We stayed 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday, and every single day was filled with luxury, relaxation, and unforgettable moments. The resort is stunning—modern, clean, and perfectly curated for adults looking for a chic yet fun escape. The food was consistently great, the vibes were immaculate, and the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between peaceful and lively. Whether we were relaxing by the pool, enjoying the beach, or winding down in the evenings, everything felt intentional and elevated—exactly what you want for a honeymoon. What truly made our stay extraordinary was our butler, Shandell. His level of service was unmatched. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely caring, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment of our stay. From handling reservations to thoughtful touches that made us feel celebrated as newlyweds, Shandell went above and beyond in every way. He anticipated our needs before we even asked and treated us with warmth and excellence throughout the entire week. Royalton CHIC Antigua gave us memories we will cherish forever, and Shandell played a huge role in making our honeymoon truly unforgettable. If you’re considering this resort, do not hesitate—and if possible, request Shandell. He is an absolute asset and a true professional. We can’t wait to return! 🖤✨

  Fantastic Solo Stay – Diamond Club Worth Every Penny

  This was my second holiday to Antigua and my first stay at Royalton CHIC Antigua. I travelled solo for 10 nights from 3rd January 2026 and overall had a brilliant time. I chose the Diamond Club upgrade and for me it was absolutely worth it. The large padded sun loungers by the private Diamond pool were excellent, as were the loungers in the private Diamond beach area — having those quieter spaces made a real difference. The Diamond Club bar staff were fantastic. Hannah makes the best Aperol Spritz I’ve ever had, and Rickie kept my prosecco flowing all day! All top-shelf drinks are included with generous measures, and there are pool and beach waiters all around the resort, not just in Diamond. The butler service was another big highlight. My butlers, Miguela and Michael, were amazing — always easy to reach via WhatsApp and checking in with me daily around the pool. They helped with taxis, booked my stingray swimming trip, and even got me into restaurants when the app showed no availability. Staff throughout the resort were extremely friendly and helpful. As a female travelling alone, I felt very safe and comfortable, and staff genuinely went out of their way to look after me. The food was consistently good. I never struggled to find something I enjoyed. The buffet was well stocked with plenty of choice, the poolside food wagon was great for quick snacks, and the wine selection was decent. A special mention to Chef Francis in the Italian restaurant — his spontaneous music and dancing made the evening memorable, and his service was excellent. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice. There’s also a quieter Diamond Club breakfast restaurant, which was a lovely way to start the day — the banana cake was delicious. The resort was very quiet during my stay, just after the busy Christmas and New Year period. There were always free sunbeds, restaurant tables available, and plenty of staff around. The Diamond lobby bar being open 24/7 was really useful — help yourself to drinks, snacks, ice, tea and coffee at any time. The coffee shop and cake selection were great, with good coffee and tasty cakes and sandwiches, although staff here weren’t as friendly as elsewhere in the resort. The gym was excellent for a hotel, with plenty of equipment, free weights, treadmills, bikes, plus boot camp, yoga and Pilates classes. Pescari restaurant is chargeable, but Diamond guests receive a US$40 credit. It was very quiet during my visit with little atmosphere. The food was okay, and while drinks aren’t included, the rosé wine was beautiful and worth the extra cost. My room was spotless, cleaned daily, very spacious and modern, with a large rainfall shower. I would definitely return to Royalton CHIC Antigua. The vibe was perfect — you can enjoy the lively daytime entertainment and activities, or relax by the quieter pool or beach if you prefer a more chilled holiday.
