Rainy Days in Antigua
Rainy days were a blast at Royalton Chic Antigua. The entertainment team was absolutely fantastic—full of energy, and creativity. They hosted lively quizzes with fun prizes, kept the atmosphere upbeat, and made sure there was always something engaging to do. Honestly, we didn’t miss the sunshine one bit!

We stayed here (3 couples), August 27th-31st. We will NEVER return. We paid for the Diamond club and butler service. Complete waste of money. No service at the pool or the beach. Had to go to the other side just for towels. Had to go to the swim up bar for our drinks, and then they ran out of multiple alcohols and no replacements. Just “ we are out”. Wound up going back to the Diamond club reception area just for a drink. Food was awful and tiny portions. Only good food was nachos from the food truck. Mini bar in room was just soda and 2 beers. Had to ask for snack refills.Beach was beautiful but the lack of service ruined our stay.

The stay experience was ok. I booked through a travel agent. I know travel agents are considered a third party and I was treated as such. Meaning, guest are treated different when stay is booked through the actual resort. I overpaid through the travel agent for a king ocean view room. My stay included Diamond service. I was given a room with 2 beds. I'm in the Diamond lobby explaining I booked a king bed. I was told by the agents I received my ocean view, but the resort did not have a king bed. I told all of them, that's not true. I work as a front desk agent. I know how to assign rooms to guests when booked through the actual website & a third party. After going back and forth for almost a hour, I received my king ocean view room. Part of my package as Diamond, I was suppose to receive complimentary liquor 24 to 48 hours of my arrivals. I arrived on a Thursday. I did not receive the liquor until Monday. I was leaving Tuesday. My two butlers ( part of being Diamond) were very lazy. Had to keep reminding and asking them for the same things over and over. Not just in the WhatsApp, but when I saw them in person. I felt as if I was being ignored. They made promises the entire stay and barely honored anything. I can say, the resort was cute and quaint. It gave me what needed; relaxation. The food was ok. I enjoyed myself with my friends. I would go back because the island was amazing.
