Great time at Royalton Bavaro
We were 6 adults with 3 rooms in building 18. We were DC and Adonis was are butler. He did a great job making our reservations and checking in with us. He handled any issues we had. We loved the resort and will return. The pool and beach were great. All the staff were wonderful. We especially liked Oceanside breakfast buffett. We were in building 19. And had no issues. Dont let the bad reviews scare you

Great holiday,
Having seen the many negative reviews, we considered changing resorts but are so glad that we didn’t. We travelled with Tui and booked a private transfer. We were at the hotel within 25 minutes of leaving the airport. Check in was quick & easy. We were then taken to our building (13) by buggy, our room (13201) faced in to the resort and overlooked the lazy river. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The resort shows some wear& tear but the maintenance team are constantly working. We found the resort to be extremely clean. Out first meal was dinner at the buffet on the evening of our first day, we found this to be quite disappointing as albeit there was a large selection of dishes, the majority seemed to be lukewarm. The cooking station however were really good with your food cooked to your requirements in front of you. We didn’t use the food vans or the Italian but the rest of the restaurants were great, our favourite was Zen. The staff work tirelessly and a shout out goes to the team at the infinity pool, they were great fun and made our holiday (Mateo, Alexander, Guillermo, Omar & Freya - sorry if I have missed anyone or spelt your names wrong but you were amazing!). This is the third Royalton resort we have stayed at, having previously been to St Lucia & Cancun Riviera. All have been exceptional in different ways and we will be back.

Very unprofessional, would not recommend, manager Danilo is very rude don’t know how to speak to guests, was told that I would be able to check in to my room base on the time my flight came in, now I arrive, I am being told that I won’t be able to receive a room, my boyfriend and I slept in the lobby from 12:00am and still can’t receive a room. Asked for tooth brush and toothpaste and was told we have to pay to receive a toothbrush and toothpaste or wait until 3:00pm to receive a hotel toothbrush or toothpaste when our room becomes available
