The resort was beautiful and had everything we needed. The staff was amazing, our butler Eduardo did an amazing job. He was very attentive to all of our needs and made sure that we had the best experience. The pool staff for the Diamond Club area Starling, Juan Carlos and Miguel made sure our time there was good and also were very attentive. The food, entertainment, spa were all very good as well.

Great Vacation!
The resort was great! Overall, the property is well maintained and clean. It has some normal wear and tear but that's expected, not a deal breaker. There was plenty to do with activities, shows, restaurants, and bars. We rented a beach cabana one day, and Starling took excellent care of us all day. Very attentive and always kept our drinks cold. Another day, we rented the poolside cabana with Miguel and Juan Carlos. They were fantastic as well. We enjoyed a private whirlpool and delicious lunch. Our service from all 3 of them was above and beyond. Our Butler, Eduardo took good care of us the whole week always checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. He took care of all our dinner reservations and all services requested were taken care of right away, we didn't have to wait around for anyone. It was our first time going all out on a vacation and it was worth every penny!

to be honest the hotel is outdated, needs renovation. I was "prime" and my butler G was not the greatest. i can say it was pointless. i saw other butlers very attentive to their guest but mine was not until the last day. However, the entertainment group(Charlene,Leidy, Estalin, Panda and Roy) were great by the pool and by the pool bar (Alexander, Matteo and Omar) amazing. The evening shows need to be more entertaining. we are in the Dominican Republic should be more live, colorful and musical.

After reading mixed reviews of the resort, we were unsure of how it would be, but were very pleasantly surprised and impressed. We were a group of 9 (range of ages, likes and dislikes), in Diamond Club and were so well taken care of by pool butlers (shout out to Railin who set us up every day by the pool and was so friendly and helpful with whatever we needed). Servers Miguel and Alexi were always friendly and worked so hard to make sure we were taken care of with drinks! We loved the food and the atmosphere- our favourite restaurant was Oceanside for DC breakfast and dinner. Servers Francisco and Samuel made us laugh and were so friendly and hardworking. We appreciated them all for taking the time to really acknowledge us and provide personalized service. We will definitely return one day and looking forward to that.

Reimbursement of deposit paid on arrival !!
We had an amazing time at the Royalton hotel and had the best holiday this July . I am disappointed that I have emailed the hotel a couple of times to request my deposit back that I paid on arrival but have had no communication back which really is frustrating as this was promised to be returned to me when we checked out … still had no reimbursement!!!
