  Diamond club is a must

  We went Diamond club check in and check out were bad, two hour wait when we arrived and they clearly hadn't realised we had booked Diamond Club. Took us four days of constant asking to resolve . First world problems but they constantly try upgrade you so why not make sure you get what you paid for . Oceanside restaurant is great for breakfast , the other specialist restaurants are ok with Hunters probably the best . Most staff are welcoming, main reception being the exception .Food overall is average, the place is huge and seems to struggle to keep up with the amount of people . The usual towel wars take place here , saw an almost fight over towels on beds twice while here , make friends with "Superstar "the pool concierge in Diamond club he does a great job as do all the pool staff. Nice break but much more for families than couples so will look elsewhere if come back . Take dollars and tip and smile and if you can speak a little Spanish give it a go it will help your holiday experience .

  The best

  My experience was the best! The hotel is beautiful, the food is amazing, staff is great, we absolutely loved everything! Great location, rooms are clean and comfortable, we loved the bar by the pool and the one at the lobby.

  Fun and Positive Experience.

  Great space, rooms were always clean and stocked. Beds are comfortable. Air conditioner worked great. Transportation was organized and on time, comfortable and the driver was safe. The Diamond Club is a must if your booking here. Michael our butler was amazing. Starlin and Manuel our pool attendants were amazing, attentive, and supported all our needs. Our breakfast (Baeliy and David) wait staff were great. The buffet always had good food and lots of selection. Stephany our host was always waiting with a smile and a positive attitude she made our day start right. The wait staff was quick and happy. Great service. The vibe team made sure we were included in all the activities and made our kids comfortable. Charleny was so fun with a great attitude. Our room was not ready when we arrived but the Diamond Club staff made our wait short with there attitude and attentiveness. We had a birthday and and anniversary celebration at the Rio restaurant, Barnaby (may have spelt his name wrong) was awesome and happy. He organized a special Happy Birthday song for my wife. We had 16 people in our group everyone left happy and said they would all return to this resort. This was our second time at this resort, some in our group have been three times. Great resort. For our group there were very little negative comments that are not really worth including. Great trip over all. We are all from Ontario, 🇨🇦.

  A true treat in Paradise! Make sure you ask for Eduardo!

  My family of 5 and I traveled to the Royalton Bavaro to witness my brother get married. It was our first time at an all-inclusive resort and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The resort is gorgeous and we felt very safe there. It really is paradise! The entire resort is set back away from the main hustle and bustle of Punta Cana and it was quiet and peaceful. It is the perfect distance to the beach. We chose to enroll in the Diamond Club prior to our arrival and it truly made a difference! The staff all worked really hard to make sure we were comfortable and well-taken care of. Everyone was polite and kind. The food was delicious! We ate at several restaurants including Rio, Zen Teppenyaki, Hunter Steakhouse, Gourmet Marche, and the buffet at Oceanside for the buffet every day for breakfast and lunch. Rio was a bit loud for us but that's the only downside I can think of! We also ordered room service a few times, which was a first for us (what a treat!). The drinks were delicious! We're not big drinkers, but the Sammy Sosas and piña coladas were our favorites! They would make them as strong or weak as you wanted. The swim-up bars were novel for us and we had a blast enjoying the drinks in the pool and lazy river. Our butler was Eduardo and he handled our reservations each day and ensured that our baggage made it to our room and back out to the main lobby when we were checking out. We were rushed arriving due to flight issues and we needed to meet our brother and the rest of the wedding party to get ready for the ceremony the next day. Eduardo checked us in quickly and made sure we were able to get to where we needed to be. Throughout the stay, Eduardo was just a gem. We reached out to him for nearly everything we needed (we locked ourselves out of the safe one day, he sent someone over right away to help us out). He made our trip magical. If we were upset or sad (for whatever reason), he made it right and even took the time just to chat with us if that's what we needed. He's worth every dollar. If you do decide to stay at Royalton Bavaro as a Diamond Club member, be sure to ask for Eduardo as your butler. What a true star! Tip him well, he earns every bit of it! We took in a couple of the shows, the Michael Jackson show was our favorite! The pools were clean and fresh and the beach was well-maintained! Housekeeping and beverage service stopped by everyday to clean and restock. We left tip money for both services (about $10 each day) and they took care of us. Anyone who helped us during our stay (wait staff, concierge, cooks, bartenders, etc) we made sure to tip them at least a couple of dollars. Eduardo we tipped significantly as he truly was a miracle worker. The room itself was well-loved. We only had a few minor concerns with our room (the outdoor tub didn't work, one of our toilets flushed weird, etc) but nothing that made a dent in our good time. We would go back in a heartbeat. What an experience.

  Calm, Relaxing, Fun

  Hector our butler was amazing. He met every need we wanted and was there right with us every step helping us so no stress was involved. Would come and find us to physically check in not just message which talking in person is much better understanding each other so that was super awesome. Room was cleaned more than once a day which was amazing with all the sand. Good services and matched our needs perfectly when asked. Love all the bars spaced around the resort.
