  Wonderful

  The resort was beautiful, and the service was phenomenal. All of the staff were friendly, courteous, and fun. The best part was our Butler Darleny. She made us feel like royalty and spoiled us on our anniversary.

  Very bed experience.

  I recently stayed at the Royalton Bavaro resort in the Dominican Republic. The resort itself was beautiful and our experience with the Diamond club and our concierge Adonis Almonte was excellent. However, we had a negative experience with another concierge named Jayden ( I’m not sure correct spelling his name), whose behavior was unprofessional, extremely rough and caused a lot of stress. The situation was further worsened by the manager of Diamond club, who instead of resolving the issue, blamed us for the situation. As a result, I ended up needing medical attention and had to visit the emergency room in hospital. I have been to many resorts in the Dominican Republic, but I’ve never experienced such poor service and treatment like this resort. I will never come back to this place.

  Day at the Royalton Bavaro…Pls Read

  Booked 9 nights and stayed 1 This is probably the worst resort I have ever been to ( including Cuba) No one speaks English which if that was the only issue..I could accept however The resort is not luxurious at all… grounds are not very lush as expected The restaurant buffet….food looked and tasted awful…I read some people raving about the buffet there….they should come to the Majestic to see the difference… Perhaps people posting wonderful reviews have questionable standards Drinks…I only stayed one night and rebooked our vacation to another resort but just may experience was that no water or cream for coffee in room when we checked in Tried ordering a regular Coke 3 times and always got Coke Zero… so that was the first issue …. The 2nd was a strawberry daiquiri….not even sure what I received but it was water on ice with syrup…disgusting and the third thing was that coffee was not served in the only buffet restaurant… still shaking my head at how the classify this resort as a 4.5 Service…..extremely slow and not just Dominican time The App…yeah ok…. Good luck trying to reserve any of the 9 restaurants We had to contact Air Canada Vacations rep to make one for us I think the tour operators need to send someone down to reevaluate When you come next store to the Majestic.,. Everyone speaks English…our room was fully stocked with everything including snacks…the food is delicious and the CLEANLINESS of this resort will not disappoint….Please do yourself a favour and book somewhere else I also spoke to many people during that horrible 1 day stay and their stories were even scarier than mine….do your homework people ….i promise you will thank me in the end

  Overall a good trip

  Beach and ocean were lovely. There would be good snorkeling just off the beach, however its not allowed due to boat traffic. ☹️ Service was good, all staff were friendly and helpful. Food was pretty good, no food borne illnesses during our stay. Room was nice, except we wanted one king bed and got two beds, but we didn't bother attempting to change that. Most days we were able to get chairs at the beach without going first thing to reserve. Overall a good trip.

  Great Family Vacation at Royalton Bávaro

  Our experience at the Royalton Bávaro was exceptional from start to finish. The resort itself is beautiful, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff and the level of service we received. We were lucky to have Eduardo as our butler, and he went above and beyond every single day. His attention to detail, constant communication, and genuine care made our trip seamless and stress-free. Whether it was securing dinner reservations, arranging special touches in our room, or checking in to ensure we had everything we needed, Eduardo made us feel truly cared for. On the pool deck, Vladimir and Roberto stood out with their friendliness and energy. They made the atmosphere fun, welcoming, and lively, and always remembered our preferences. Their service made relaxing by the pool even better. We also highly recommend purchasing the Diamond Club package. The upgraded amenities, private areas, and enhanced service are absolutely worth it. Having access to the lounge, priority reservations, and personalized attention elevated the entire experience. Overall, Royalton Bávaro exceeded our expectations, and the staff—especially Eduardo, Vladimir, and Roberto—made our stay unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!
