  Amazing holiday

  We stayed at The Royalton Bavaro from the 2nd October to the 19th October. We was DC and all I can say is Wow. On arrival we was greeted by our Butler Jorge and instantly knew we was going to have a wonderful time. He explained everything to us, and what we should expect from him. He was very informative about our room, the service he would provide for us to make our stay memorable. He made our stay stress free and always went above & beyond, Royalton you should be very proud of this young man as he set a very high president for the hotel. Jorge made all our reservations, came everyday to us and always making sure we ok. He took family snaps of us, which we would never have(behind our backs) nothing was never any trouble and he was always attentive at all times. He ran our jacuzzi bath after going on trips,which was a fabulous gesture, rose petals included. He was caring, thoughtful and you could tell he wanted the best for us and interacted with us at least 6 times a day, but also respecting our privacy. 100% we would want Jorge as he made our stay very special, so thank you Jorge you are one very special person & employee, thank you for your impeccable service. when we return. DC is worth every penny. We found the resort immaculate, and all our food was delicious. We went to a speciality restaurant every night and big shout out to ZEN(chefs table) absolutely brilliant & entertaining, so was the Al a carte, and also Grazie too. I asked if I could change a dish and they honoured my request and nothing was too much trouble. We even tried the Buffett restaurant on the last night and it’s not like your standard buffet restaurant, service was 10 out of 10 too. Staff was also amazing and added to our holiday. A big shout out to Ricardo, Rayner, and Carlos in the DC beach bar they work so hard to make your holiday enjoyable & memorable.for this reason we would definitely return to this hotel as they made our holiday too. So thank you for your service. Can’t wait to return as we had the most amazing time with very special staff. It was also lovely to see Elvis walking about & catching up with us making sure everything was right. To be honest we was worried about some of the reviews but we said we would make our opinion and my review is an honest one.

  I doubt that I will be returning to your hotel

  I reserved 6 luxury suites at a rate of $1568 plus a deposit of $200. When I check out of the hotel they changed my card $1768.They told me I would receive a $200 credit to my charge card.That was 2 months ago.Although I’ve call the hotel a numerous amount of times about this issue I have yet to receive my refund. Speaking of contacting the hotel.I have been given at least 4 different telephone numbers. I’ve called all of them and either they don’t work or l’m transferred to another number by the person that does answer.The reservation number works some what.Before you make a reservation I challenge the reader to call someone of the numbers that they give you Out of 6 rooms that I rented 3 had roaches.When we complained they gave us bug spray. The hotel provides free transportation from the airport to the hotel and back, however you have to wait for other guests to arrive before the bus leaves the airport.I paid for and reserved a private bus to transport my family from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport.The transportation company that the hotel provided me was called Nexus.When 2 of my family member had to change their return trip.The hotel and Nexus refused to provide them free transportation to the airport.You can speak to the hotel rep “ELVES” who helped or really didn’t help to resolve the issue. If it weren’t for the great butler service that was provided with our room rate I would give this hotel a “ZERO” rating .

  An awesome resort

  Our butler Jorge was a big part of making our family vacation memorable !! He took the time to visit us in person everyday to make sure we had a great day . His attitude was perfect .

  Great Staff, Excellent Butler

  This was our second family vacation to the Royalton Bavaro in the past two years. We got extremely lucky with the weather. The beach and grounds were well maintained. The staff was exceptional, especially the butler service we received with the Diamond Club upgrade was incomparable thanks to Jorge Mata. Jorge made sure our family had everything we needed and checked in with us daily to see how else he could make our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Diamond Club upgrade. If possible, please request Jorge. You won’t be disappointed.
