    Cancel your reservation!

    The moment we checked in, we wanted to leave! We were shocked by the unhygienic conditions and we actually checked out the very next day to move to another hotel. In my experience, everything felt dirty, neglected and far below the standards it advertises. The rooms were unacceptable: the curtains were darkened with dirt at the bottom, the bathtub was dirty and the windows and common areas looked unclean and poorly maintained. Even the food was terrible and one of the worst moments was finding what appeared to be a worm in a sandwich we were served. The staff were unfriendly and unwilling to help in any way. Based on what I personally experienced, this hotel is in awful condition! My honest advice: cancel your reservation immediately!!! I absolutely do not recommend Royalton Bavaro Punta Cana to anyone!

    A new Royalton fan

    We had a great experience. It’s a great resort for kids and adults alike. We were part of the Diamond Club and definitely recommend that. Our butler Adonis was great. Super helpful with all of our requests. Will definitely return!

    I miss you Dominican

    Location - 30-40 mins from the airport. Our room was about 30 yards from the beach Atmosphere- relaxing and enjoyable. It was 80% Canadians at this location. (Yes I am also Canadian) Room - Our door could be open by leaning on it. So when leaving our room all important things were in the safe. The rooms were clean and in excellent shape although our AC wasn’t pumping cool air compared to our rest of our family rooms but the ceiling fan felt it made up for it. Noise level- at 11pm it was quiet. No noise from other tenants or outside music. Everyone seemed to respect everyone else. Cleanliness- the bar does not wash cups, they only rinse the cup and reuse. This might be why I got sick. At that point I stopped drinking and started drinking bottled water. So make sure to bring your own cup. The employee are all nice. I respect what they do and the sacrifices they make away from their families. They don’t ask or hover for a tips but they are satisfied when you give it. They don’t give priority over to people who tip and don’t. (Giving a relaxing atmosphere) Food (buffet)- I am not a breakfast person but I found it boring. There eggs aren’t as flavourful as Canadian eggs. It seemed watery. The bead was great. (Lunch Dinner) beef/meat is tuff They cook it on the flat griddle and not a bbq grill so the beef tends to curl. Their pizza was fantastic. They had plenty of fish and had this most of the time. (So this was a bonus for me.). They had plenty of fruits. Food - Japanese. Atmosphere was fun but left dinner hungry. Although one of us was served desert with 8 of us at this table. And the other family table didn’t serve sushi to everyone. First time leaving a restaurant thinking ‘that’s it?’. After Japanese I ate at the buffet. Food - Steak house. The service was great. The beef was a lot better than the buffet style cause they cooked it on a grill and was tender. (I ordered Nee York steak) Food - Brazilian. I didn’t like it. The food was fatty and there wasn’t lamb. And it seems there wasn’t enough employees and felt you sat around waiting eventually get tired and left. Food Ocean. 80% fish which most or our families didn’t like except me, so was canceled and went to the buffet at the front of the resort. Our butler was great and arranged all our meals. He was also wanted to help and very hospitable. He helped me when I need Distilled Water (takes an extra day). Angelo came to check on us every day. He has been in the industry for a long time and he knows what he is doing. Beach. - clean.

    Up coming wedding

    We were at the Royalton Bravaro to check out the resort for our son's upcoming wedding we were very pleased with the resort. The rooms were spacious and clean. The entertainment was excellent. The bars were all great, we especially want to recognize Wendy Yitin at the Martini Bar who goes out of her way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. The grounds and pools were well kept.
