We had Adonis Almonte as our butler and he was great. He was very knowledgeable about the resort and was always available if you ever needed anything. I would recommend him as your butler.

The room was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed for the week of our stay. The resort was kept up well, and the layout was very nice with the day activities near the beach and night activities closer to the lobby so if you were relaxing in your room you wouldn’t hear it. There was a lot to do between beach, pools, lazy river, water park, multiple bars and restaurants, mini golf, sports bar with pool tables as well as kids club and play area. The staff was was great, always friendly and up beat, our butler Adonis was amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We would definitely visit again!

Amazing service
We went to the sports bar and was served by Angela and Carlos, they were amazing and there service was amazing. They made our experience amazing and were so friendly, we were blown away by their customer service and positivity. There are a credit to the hotel. Thank you

Best Honeymoon!! And best butler (Felix)
Myself and my husband stayed here for our honeymoon, we upgraded to the diamond club when we checked in - due to us being slightly later checking in (after 1700) we met our butler Felix the following day. Felix was so helpful, he contacted us every morning via whatsapp to see how we were doing, asking us everyday where we wanted to eat for dinner so he could book us a time slot. Felix would then come and find us during the day to say hello and confirm everything was ok. Felix organised for our room to be decorated for our honeymoon which was a lovely touch. Anything we needed Felix was there to help us. Felix is amazing and is a credit to this hotel. The hotel is amazing, the food is amazing - my husband is very fussy normally but here he ate so much. The entertainment is one of the best ones we have watched in an all inclusive resort. Our room was cleaned every day minus one day where it was missed but that wasn’t to much of an issue. Overall we had the best honey moon and would recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you again Felix :)

Dec 10, 2025Worst Hotel Service at DR for Dominicans
Our experience at Hotel Royalton Bávaro was extremely disappointing. We booked a group stay for our company’s employees with the intention of enjoying good service, however, the result was truly a disaster. We clearly noticed a significant difference in the treatment between foreign guests and Dominican guests. While international visitors received preferential attention and were treated almost like royalty, the service towards us as Dominicans was inattentive, unfriendly, and even discriminatory. It is unfortunate that in a hotel located in our own country, such behavior marked by classism and a lack of respect toward local clients is practiced. The general feeling is that Dominicans are not a priority, even though we pay for the same services. In summary, our experience fell far below expectations and is nowhere near what a hotel of this category should provide. We do not recommend it for local groups or companies that want to offer a positive experience to their employees. Att. El Mundo Hidráulico
