    Entertainment and food are really bad except Rio restaurants. Buffet there not enough varieties of food,also really small for a big hotel,food quality bad, The hotel it's really good,front desk excellent. ALEXANDER(ALIAS CHOCO) BARTHENDER he's the best great customer service,amable above and beyond. Cleanliness medium,room service awful

    Very relaxing family vacation

    Our family spent a week at the Royalton Bavaro resort in Punta Cana in mid- August. Overall, it was a very nice vacation. Apparently, the resort offers a free private shuttle from the Airport for parties of 15 or more. Unfortunately, we had 14, so we had to book our own private shuttle (rather than just pay a nominal additional amount). We all felt the Diamond Club was worth the extra cost. The check in was good, although we still had to wait quite a few hours before all our rooms were available. We all had upgraded rooms, some with swim up, which were fine. One of our group had requested a 2-bed. suite, but did not get it. We were assigned a "butler" - Freylin. He was excellent and very helpful. The resort is clean and well kept. The pools, splash pads and restaurants were all good. Some of our group went to the waterpark, included with our package, at the other Royalton resort down the beach. They were disappointed. They found the waterpark quite dirty and poorly maintained. Overall, I would recommend this resort (Royalton Bavaro) and, Freylin!!

    The room was full of cockroaches,

    I booked a stay at a hotel in the Dominican Republic and paid extra for the Luxury Diamond package, but it turned out to be the worst vacation experience I’ve ever had. The room was full of cockroaches, with bugs crawling everywhere. The furniture and appliances were extremely old, broken, and poorly maintained. Despite paying for a “luxury” room, there wasn’t even soap provided. The staff was very indifferent and only seemed interested in tips, while the actual service was close to zero. The food and drinks were of very poor quality as well. Overall, this was a complete disappointment and definitely not worth the price.

    Horrible

    Royalton bavaro should be removed from marriott autograph. The service in punta cana was horrible, eesort is not clean food was not good. This is the second royalton I stay at 1st in cancun 2nd in punta cana. I can tell you it was a very bad experience. Rude service, they are not friendly at all which was odd to me. Anyway I dont recommend and marriot please remove them, marriott should not associate itself with such a resort.

    We would stay here again.

    The Butler Carlos was awesome. He had the best experience at this hotel. The food, swim up pool, Gelato shop and amenities were great.
