    Chess

    Chris the chess man is the best thing about Antigua, he should be prime minister, or at the very least, sainted for his contributions to package holiday enjoyment.

    A lovely week!

    A beautiful resort, with a stunning beach. We were Diamond Club, with a lovely room. Our butlers Dymond & Emerson were extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. They secured restaurant reservations and were in daily contact. Beach service was excellent, unfortunately some of the restaurant staff let this resort down - a smile costs nothing! All in all we had a lovely, relaxing week! Thank you Royalton Antigua 😎

    Wonderful Family Holiday

    We have just returned from a lovely family holiday at the Royalton. We were members of the Diamond Club which meant we had two butlers to look after us. Emerson and Dymond were absolutely fantastic, they couldn’t do enough for us. They booked tables, taxis, excursions, sorted laundry and provided cheese platters and fresh fruit. I can’t praise them enough. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable and we always had plenty of towels. The food was good and plentiful at the buffet and the waitresses helpful. They all fell in love with my 5 month old grandson and by the end of the holiday he had many many Antiguan girlfriends! The pool and beach area was lovely and Dermany looked after us very well. We really enjoyed the activities organised for us and most of the evening entertainments. We had a very very positive experience at the hotel, especially for the first five days, however, things changed when 300 American guests arrived on a corporate event. With such a big influx of people resources at the hotel became much more stretched. Food quality wasn’t as good and service was slower. This is where our butlers came into their own so we always felt looked after and always had plans for dinner. I understand that the corporate events are very profitable for the hotel but the knock on effect of hundreds of guests all arriving together on the current residents and the amenities really does change your holiday experience and not for the better! The Royalton is a good family hotel with some really lovely staff, we had a fantastic time there!

    Not a good value. Will not do a Royalton again.

    Lovely resort! Very clean! Buffet mediocre. Steakhouse excellent! Sports bar service terribly slow (left after waiting an hour for an order and this happened 2x)! Reception desk employees need to be more customer oriented! Had to argue for 30 minutes to get two beds in a room instead of a rollaway cot!

    Hike with Scott, beautiful stay

    We started the trip off with an awesome hike to Fort Barrington with Scott. He was knowledgeable, helpful and so much fun. Food at the buffet is great and there are a lot of options for non-meat eaters. The beach and the view are beautiful.
