  Lovely holiday

  Was really concerned about the negative reviews but we had a great week. Hotel was lovely, the staff incredibly polite and restaurants very good. I celebrated my birthday when I was there and was not disappointed - yes check in was slow and some of the restaurants were a little slow but that suited us . Went on a couple of trips and had a really fun time - rooms a little tired but overall thought it was great value for money.

  Amazing trip & Service

  We stayed in a bungalow and this trip has been truly amazing. We received the best treatment we could ever ask for thanks to Earl, Khem, Ann, as well as many others. We could not of asked for any better service and we have made some lifetime friends here. This has been a trip to remember forever and we are truly Blessed to have this experience! P.S. If you like Bloody Mary's, Earl makes the best mix ever!

  Great location and property with subpar service staff.

  Antigua is a beautiful island. The resort is beautiful and located on the beach. The rooms are clean , comfortable and well maintained. The group planning staff Isha, Glenisha and Kadijah were excellent and very helpful in planning our visit and accommodations. Kellyann in the guest check in area was great … helpful and professional in assisting our family (guest). The buffet offered a variety of meal choices. The restaurant service ( steak house, Italian, Caribbean) all were very disappointing. Food prep time and service were extremely poor and long. 40 minute wait times between various meal courses. Plan to spend 3 to 3 1/2 hours waiting to be served a three course meal for small groups of eight (8) or so. Additionally, we booked a butler service package which I would not recommend. Service was poor and almost non existent. We barely saw our butlers. Despite the service concerns we had a family group of thirty guests on property and we enjoyed our time together at the beach, pool , and other entertainment sites on property.

  Beautiful place with terrible food !!

  We booked out 2 rooms and requested them together as had our teenage granddaughter with us , on check in we were given 2 rooms on different floors . Day 2, Changed rooms for one on same floor but not inter connecting. One of also had a broken fan . Day 3 . Moved rooms again this time they got it all correct all thanks to our amazing butler Conroy. The bad points … The worst thing by far is the food. The steak house, food was like warm and steaks were so laced in salt they weren’t edible, a few very rude waitresses but a lovely lady manager. Italian restaurant , lasagna nice but cold , waiting staff all very sullen and don’t engage !! Caribbean restaurant..woman on entrance desk very rude, waiting staff just don’t engage , look stern and all very clearly in the wrong job ( these faces should make us feel welcome not a hindrance. The food wasn’t up-to scratch , lamb curry full of small bones ( watch you don’t choke ) Buffet … barely warm food and waiting staff who need hospitality training . Rooms … air conditioning clearly have issues in all of them .. everyone I spoke to said they were experiencing same thing .. air conditioning regulators don’t work , if it’s on it’s seriously freezing cold it wakes you up . We had to turn it off and just use ceiling fan .. not great !! The most popular drink on a holiday is a mojito …. For our first 9 days they had no mint .. every day I requested it .. Our Butler Conroy eventually took it on and sorted it out … Burger van needs to be nearer pool , staff on it rude Good points …. We had 2 butlers … 1 of them did their job above and beyond . Conroy is a credit to this hotel , nothing was too much trouble he even went off site for us to pick up gifts for home in his own time. He did everything within his capabilities to make our holiday special .. putting birthday cakes in our room to making sure we were comfortable.. The beach and crystal clear sea is just stunning .. The entertainment team are all amazing and friendly. Richard in particular was friendly and fun. He did everything he could to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. All in all we had a fantastic holiday as we made it so much fun with the lovely people we met . Every day was such a laugh .. Special mentions should go to.. Anya , She is the most amazing person and makes everyone feel special. Richard in the vibe team and our butler Conroy, are all a credit to the Royalton chain and deserve huge bonuses for having to work around such hotel failures. Suzanne and Roger

  Anya best bartender credit to Royalton brand

  We enjoyed our stay as met some lovely people we found the staff very welcoming especially Richard from the vibe team Anya best bartender in the resort went above and beyond to engage with all guests Dermany was also very good Indianna was also good we had a few problems with our room as we requested a kingsize double but our first room 10814 had two queen beds and a constant mouldy smell they eventually moved us after nine days to a much nicer room still at the back but with a kingsize bed we were diamond club but felt that apart from the butlers booking reservations for dinner they didn’t do any extra little things that we saw others get that could of been our fault as we didn’t like a fuss but a few cakes to the room would of been a nice touch and sorting our room more quickly we met some lovely people at the resort which made our holiday the food needs to be sorted as never hot enough they need microwaves in the buffet and service to be organised as the food was ok but never hot enough they need to sort this out as advertised as five star luxury resort but as much as we loved the beach I would say this is a four star
