Friend’s Birthday Trip
We were excited to be here even though I read quite a few reviews I had an open mind, sorry to say the reviews did not lie, being we were in the Caribbean I expected more from the food, it was awful & cold no seasoning at all, the ladies that greeted us in the office were rude, leaky sinks, wall light ducked taped stayed on all night, maintenance tried to come spray for bugs while we were in our room, jacuzzi’s by the pools were cold, none of the pool’s& sauna were working in the spa area, my friends bungalow air conditioning went out for 2 days mind you she paid $10,000 + & she had to say something no one came to address the situation, sadly we left the resort to eat, had some of the best jerk chicken in town. The on good thing I can say is our Butler Zo was amazing, this guy was on it, very pleasant, no problem getting whatever we requested, the young lady the took over after his shift never saw her, didn’t answer text, the best part of the trip was our private catamaran cruise. I must say thank you to the general manager who made up for our friend’s mishap in her bungalow, with the culinary experience, the redo birthday dinner, mixologist that made us drinks, the daily cabanas he gave us, you really tried to make it up to us for that we appreciate you. The grounds are beautiful I think the rooms need some attention, some of the workers can use some customer service training. When people are spending their hard earned $$$$ We expect a class act treatment. Royalton when you know better you do Better!

Not good!
We have come back from a 2 week stay here. We stayed at Royalton St Lucia last year, so knew what to sort of expect. Unfortunately, this hotel is in need of help. The hotel itself is ok ish, the views are amazing. But this is not a 5* hotel. We stayed in a room which we pre-booked before we left the UK, the view was amazing of the bay and beach but it is not 5*. The staff are very unhappy, or seem to be. They struggle to smile and be polite. Some of them don't or won't give you eye contact. We was not going to let this ruin it for us but we had paid alot of money, like others no doubt, and to be polite and courteous doesn't cost anything. You'd expect the staff to be happy, but they clearly are not. The staff were not like this is St. Lucia. The hotel lacked Christmas decorations, unlike Royalton, St.Lucia this time last year. You can't sit by the pool or on the beach without the music. So if you want a quiet holiday this is not for you. St Lucia you have other pools but everyone is in the 2 pools here and just too loud. Food in the buffet is extremely limited. The food is always luke warm. We booked the restaurants the majority of the time, but even they weren't great. Romania, member of staff at the Carribbean restaurant was pure rude!! Our cleaner was fab-Jocyalen. Always happy. Shout out to Shemar, always happy and smiling. The rest of the staff need to take a leaf out of their books!! Bar staff at the martini bar were rude too. It's such a shame as this could be a nice hotel, if they decided to be polite and smile! When management are around, the staffs attitudes change, but as soon as they are gone, the attitudes and moodiness is back!! You can't get a drink at the snack van by the kids pool?? Not even a bottle of water?! Why? Coffee shop only do smoothies, no other cold drinks, but from 14 nights stay, could only get a smoothie 3 days??!! As they didnt have the ingredients! Carribbean restaurant ran out of certain foods. The bar ran out of certain drinks. I am sorry but this is not a 5* hotel. Guys in the Guest Services and reception were great. They were happy to help with anything but apart from the guys mentioned, staff experience was awful. A holiday is what you make it but there are too many negatives for us to stay at this hotel again.

A good time
The location was very convenient for the excursions that we wanted to do. My butlers Emerson and Dymond we very attentive. Emerson especially made my sister’s birthday special by decorating the room and making her feel special. The Diamond Club experience was one to remember. Maliki apart of the vibe team did a great job of interacting with us as guests. He was entertaining and fun. Maliki made sure that all guests were involved and having a good time dancing especially on Reggae night.

Royalton review
I feel like the aqua fit was really fun and easy to follow ..I would really recommend the aqua fit with Jameel after the meals you would be eating ..it’s easy on the joints !

Amazing trip
This was a getaway for my husband and I that we needed to relax and destress and that’s exactly what we did. The beaches and area were beautiful. We highly recommend the Diamond Club. The perks are fast and easy check-in and check out, reservations at the restaurants taken care of for you (which you absolutely need), better breakfast options, beach and pool comfort, although I’ll say the entire beach and pool area are amazing!!! We had Dymond and Emerson as our butlers, yes butlers are part of the Diamond Club. Some people use them like crazy, they told us they had to check on us throughout our stay because we did not need a thing, seriously all was right there, we had food all around, bars open all day, entertainment throughout the day. Best stuff - Everyone was very friendly, Dymond and Emerson the butlers from the Diamond Club were so great with us, the Caribbean Restaurant was the best dinner, Frozen mojitos were a hit, the spa, Sylvia was a godsend. Not so great stuff - the buffet wasn’t the best food but we thankfully had a lot of other options, the rooms aren’t updated but didn’t affect the stay, housekeeping was just ok, we had to ask them for towels every day and we ran out of tissues, and the fridge wasn’t stocked. Overall this was an amazing vacation. We needed to relax and destress and that’s exactly what we did.
