Wonderful family vacation!
This is the the second time I have been to this resort with my family and absolutely love it! The resort is beautiful ,clean and has the most friendly staff working there. I want to especially thank Josue, he was such a wonderful waiter , very friendly and always there for us. It was always nice to see his welcoming smile every morning during breakfast . I also want to thank Nayeli at the Sushi bar , my mother-in-law loves sushi and was very impressed with the rolls and how friendly she was . Also very impressed with the event staff, there was always something to do. If you are looking for a relaxing family vacation this is definitely the place to book!!! You will not retreat it!!!
Horrible customer service during COVID-19 pandemic!!
Me and my family will never recommend coming here. I advise everyone to reconsider booking here , they claim to be flexible with travel no they are not. We booked with Expedia in January 2020 for a March-April 2020 family getaway we go annually to Cancun or Cabos this would be our first time at this resort. In the months leading up the COVID-19 pandemic hit the nation and world. I live in California and the governor issued a mandated shelter in place Order , we are not allowed to fly or travel for non essential trips we can’t go to stores for non essential items. The restaurants , gyms, closed we are stuck here and we called Expedia and they were great in assisting however the refund was left at the discretion of the hotel Royal Solaris Los Cabos. We have been left in a hardship , work and been effected , I spent over $3,000 in this resort trip and airlines and we received a confirmation email a few days later from Expedia that the resort would give us a refund. We were excited and we need that money. I need it to buy groceries , medicine, toilet paper, gas, my work was effected with the COVID-19 pandemic in California. Now I received an email that the resort changed it mind and is issuing me credit for a trip to made before December 2020. Ridiculous! I called Expedia it’s very had to get through I called the resort I am so desperate to have my hard earned money returned during these unprecedented times. They are stealing my money. I cried to the Expedia member I couldn’t help it I need my money to survive. With what happened with COVID-19 effected my finances so drastically that I won’t be able to take any leisure travel for the next two years. I am helpless I came in here to hope someone from Royal Solaris sees this and helps me get my refund! Please , your customer service is horrible right now the lady on the phone told me “ sorry we can’t help you you are not a member”. I will never go here again if one day I can travel again I will tell everyone to never go here
Booked through our RCI timeshare upon check in we upgraded our room at an extra cost with Emmanuel, he was very helpful our room was a partial oceanview on the 3rd floor with a large terrace. Our concierge was Fatima and she was very helpful with our dinner reservations and also tickets for Carnival Night and Beach Party. Diana Morales Neri served us at the Ceviche Shack daily, she was awesome, always fresh delicious Ceviche Tostados along with a big smile.
When you visit, make sure you sit in Ventura’s area at the pool. The man doesn’t let your cup or hand empty ever. Appreciated having him the 5 days we were there. He treated us very well! Only downfall is you can’t swim in this particular area.
Great resort. A little dated and in need of some modernizing but overall very nice. Clean rooms, attentive staff (housekeeping, servers, front desk). Good choice of restaurants and room service was good as well.
