Another Great Year at Club Solaris Cancun
This was our 2nd trip with our kids and grandkids, 10 of us in all. My wife and I were there for 12 nights. Our Son, daughter in law and 2 youngest grands arrived the next day for 7 nights. Our daughter, son in law and oldest 2 grands arrived 2 days later for 8 nights. Our 2 youngest grandkids were there for the 3rd time. The only thing that disappointed them was not being able to go to their favorite restaurants at Caribe since it is now adults only. Other than that we had a great time. Upon arrival, Marco and Ross got us settled in. Ross had arranged for a carved/molded chocolate display with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne to welcome us back. He had our dinner reservations set to go for the day we arrived. After that we had Claudia as our concierge and she provided great service. The first 2 days were a little cool 74F and breezy, but compared to -1F, with -17F wind chill it was okay. The rest of the time it was around 80. The food portions and quality have improved much in the last 2 years. Tavo, the new Asian restaurant was very good. The hostesses in Las Fuentes, Luz and Keidy, remembered us every morning we were there. After 2 days they knew my routine of getting a cup of coffee to go to take back to the room for my wife. They always had a large table ready for us and knew that we had no allergies. In Rosmarinus the hostess, Ximena, was just as good as Luz and Keidy. She knew our party and welcomed us every day we were there. At the Presidential Pool area Lazaro did a great job. Our grandkids loved the mocktails and virgin drinks he brought around. Had a great time catching up with friends we've made down there and making new friends that we hope to see again. Already trying to figure out what days we'll be there next year.

Amenities 8/10, staff 10/10
Everything was great during our week stay! Only thing that I felt needs to be improved was the food at the lunch and dinner buffets. The staff was all great, but two definitely had us laughing and enjoying our time with them. Lazaro gave us incredible service at the pool everyday and Angel at the dinner buffets. The beach was great and didn’t find it difficult to find poolside seating. I didn’t discover the dock across the road, where you have free access to paddle boards and kayaks until the last day. Worth walking over just for the beauty of the dock and seeing the fish in the water.

Great Resort amd staff
Great resort and staff. Xavier, our RCI host was excellent. Great food selections as well as good entertainment for all. Plenty of pool and beach access. The only knock was the time share presentation. We felt we had to take it, or, pay out of pocket to have the shuttle return us to the airport.

Magnificent Resort & fun staff at a reasonable price
Magnificent Resort with a great staff. Hotel & Pool area are beautiful and well laid out and the staff keeps them tidy and well maintained. The staff were all professional and helpful Ms. Jimenez in the lobby helped us a lot with dinner reservations. Food was excellent. Our favorites: Marco Polo French restaurant, Free use of kayaks and sailboat on the bay side dock, Daily water aerobics led by Maxine, Paola in the Gym and was awesome, Bubble pool parties on Valentines and Fat Tuesday were great, we celebrated my Aunts 81st birthday at Tavos and they sang and made dinner special. The staff in the travel/ excursion area were very helpful. Overall a great trip.
