What We Love
- No reservations needed at any of the restaurants.
- Your beach lounger will sit on the white sands in Playa del Carmen - beachy paradise found.
- Mix up your own cocktails in your room - liquor dispenser loaded up and ready to go.
- Book much needed "you time" at Renova Spa - a massage in the morn, a facial at night - you deserve it.
- Nightly entertainment keeps the energy alive, and when you need to let loose, La Pinata Club is ready to roll.
- Authentic Mexican food - so good. Who doesn't love chips & guacamole everyday?
Things to Know

Totally relaxing holiday
Stayed all inclusive at this hotel from 8 March 2020 for 10 days. Stunning location so much going on and to do. The hotel has a choice of pools quiet relaxing adults or fun mixed pool. Food service especially bar staff fantastic could not be more welcoming and willing to help. Hotel is spot on, we had a fault with our air con and were moved. Very pleased with room 6214 looked side on to canopy of trees where Howler monkeys live and to the right pool palm trees and sea Can walk to 5th Avenue shops and bars and sister hotel.
Great time and experience
Arrived on 8th March, check in etc very good and quick, room (block 3) very good. Food from first to last meal was very good, excellent choices, only ate in the Steakhouse and the buffet. Pools and beach area excellent, as with other areas being constantly cleaned. Drinks very good, beer was ok, choice of spirits very good, special praise to Manuel and Karen for their service and attention. The Neon Party was great, the White Party was cancelled due to the Tequila being gradually closed. We did not experience any reduction in service due to the gradual closing of areas but think we left just in time. TUI reps kept us informed as much as possible with what was happening and we left on time, although our flight was 2 hours late. We booked our trips at Playacar Centre with Miguel and were almost half the price of TUI. Overall a great time and we will be returning in hopefully better times. Please spare a thought for the staff of the hotels who have now been laid off.
We had booked this as a special treat for my special birthday. However due to the corona virus things didn’t turn out that special. We were NEVER given the option to cancel but turned out to be the last flight to leave the U.K. after having our holiday cut short by 4 days. We also experienced a lack of facilities on site at the hotel. All trips were cancelled by TUI. Only one bar and restaurant remained open and the quality of food although good on arrival quickly deteriorated as the guest size reduced to extremely poor. The pool stopped being cleaned so a scum formed. They ran out of drinks at the bar. Everyday the number of sunbed was reduced. All in hotel activity was cancelled like foam party neon disco etc. Was definitely NOT a five star experience.
An Ode to Romeo
The highlight of the resort is the beautiful beach: covered in pristine sand, rows of palm trees and a legion of chairs. Romeo is the commander of that legion. The chairs bend to the will of the sun and the guests (you) in endless flux. The constant is Romeo. For him there is only the guest and their chair, his pride and joy is moving the chairs to the most correct place. Your most correct place. Your goals for your stay are many, and all are possible. For Romeo the goal is finding the best chair for you as soon as you walk on the beach, doing it with a smile that rivals the sun at his back. The smile is real, he is just that happy to help. Everyone working at the hotel wants to make you happy, have a perfect trip. It is a difficult task, but they all do it well. No one is better at trying to find the perfect day for every guest than Romeo.
