  Birthday Stay

  My stay was awesome. 8/10. The service was amazing, the water extremely hot, clean, nice location. I will definitely return. Shout out to Elias. He's a great guy.

  Dominican Getaway

  Went for a quick 5 day trip with another Couple. Juana in the buffet was a blast! She Made sure you were having a good time. Plenty of restaurant options for dinner. My only complaint would be that the evening entertainment was limited. The shows that were there were good but there wasn’t things every night.

  Riu Republica 2026

  We went to this resort in January of 2026, the week was great. had a full week of sunny days , rained overnight, and during the day it would maybe lightly rain for 10 minutes and then the sun was out. Resort is very nice, the buffet food was excellent, my husband enjoyed the food in the buffet more than the restaurants. Its definitely an adults only party resort, but there are plenty of quiet pools if you don't want the party vibe. The beach was beautiful, you can walk for miles each way if you want to walk by other resorts on the beach. Service from the buffet staff was awesome. The rooms are good. the air conditioning was cold !!!! the grounds are well kept and very clean. And of course the jerk chicken is a must to try. I always remember to tip the gardeners. People always forget about the hard work that they do everyday to keep the place in tip top shape.

  Had an awesome time! They had some good shows, the rock theater one was my fave. Food was good. Can’t beat the value!

  Relaxing first time in DR

  Had a nice trip staying here, spent 4 nights with my GF in mid-February, was a little concerned seeing some of the negative reviews but ended up being fine and not having any crazy issues. My main reason I chose this place was the price and that there was a beach on the property. I’ve stayed at one other resort outside of DR and this one is quite large and a lot more guests around. Pretty lively and a majority being a younger crowd but that doesn’t bother me, if you needed a quiet space, it was easy to find. The room had electricity and AC the entire time, nice mini bar selection, and staying in a part of the place with a nice private and quiet place with a garden view. The only things I wasn’t a fan of were the drains seemed a little clogged after shower or using sink and the bed wasn’t the softest. We’re cigarette/cigar smokers and it is very open to tobacco use, even able to smoke at the swim up bar and beach. Even with smoking allowed, it was clear of any cigarette butts and guests seemed to be respectful using ashtrays. The food was fine, not amazing, but a good selection at the buffets including some local dishes. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I’m happy with this trip and felt for a cheaper option for an all inclusive, it was what I would expect!
