The Resort was Nice
The resort was nice. However, if you are a nonsmoker you are not going to be happy. I was told there was "smoking areas", but what I found is that people smoked everything and everywhere including in restaurants. The ones that smoked in the restaurants were extremely rude and very vulgar to the ones that did not like it. The pool towel policy was insane. The grounds were beautiful and the food was pretty good. I would give a shout out to Roberto in the Buffet/Restaurants he was the Best! He made the stay enjoyable. Our room was clean and well taken care of.

The hotel has potential; they can improve several things to make it excellent
What did we like most? The facilities are excellent and the atmosphere is super lively: there are always people around and a lot of activity in the hotel. There's a great variety of food and drinks available throughout the day; you'll never run out of anything. What didn't we like? Cleanliness in the common areas is poor, especially in the elevators (there were dead insects on the ceiling), and they also break down very frequently. Signage is scarce, and several items don't work properly: the room phone never worked despite reporting it on the first day; the remote control didn't work either, although this was eventually fixed. There are no blankets, extra pillows, or bathrobes; I had to request them, and only the blanket arrived on time after I insisted, considering how cold it was at night. They also don't replenish the shampoo or hand soap promptly. The food and drinks are average in all the restaurants, nothing remarkable. Even so, it's a fun hotel, and we would probably stay there again.

Our stay with Riu
We've just spent 14 nights in this resort and we absolutely loved it 😊 I've read also loads of bad reviews but for us nothing bad really happened. The food is good also they serve loads of seafood , the resort is clean so are the rooms , most of the staff is really really nice and helpful ( Idk why but women staff in restaurants were all the time looking bothered when you asked something or if you needed anything which a lot of people we spoke with realised also) , the beach is big and beautiful also has enough chairs to lay down , the only thing we missed was serving drinks around the pool areas and also on the beach but the last 5 days we were there , the staff already offered drinks around the pool ! 😊 We were also lucky that our rooms were on the more silent side of the resort , if you prefer to sleep at night , choose your room wisely 😅 Thank you for everything , I hope we will be able to come back someday!
