  Service was excellent all over the resort. My housekeeper Denise did an excellent job. All the staff and bartenders were great especially aloffia . Jerk but had awesome food. Buffet was nice. Check in and check out was a breeze. Lively disco and swim up bars. No complaints.

  Refresh, Relax and Renew You!

  I would highly recommend this location. No children were a plus. I have children myself; I love my children, but this was my opportunity to pour into myself, relax, and focus on myself!

  20th Anniversary

  We had an amazing time at Riu Reggae! The rooms and daily activities were perfect. Definitely will return soon!

  Great trip and resort

  We enjoyed our time. The moment we checked in, we were greeted and felt welcomed. The check in process was smooth and the clerk was helpful. The bell hop was kind and helped us to our room with our bags. Shout out the Nickia! She was so kind and personable our entire trip!

  Riu Reggae 5 star experience

  Amazing holiday and hotel. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Check in smooth, complimentary drink served in reception. Bags brought up for us. Room was nothing extravagant but big and clean, small balcony with good view. 3 bottles of spirits on optic (we didn’t use) and mini bar with beer and sort drinks (free) was replenished every other day. Don’t worry about plugs, each side of the bed has a USB wall charger. TV with loads of random channels you could usually find a film but as always I’m not on holiday to watch TV! Bed was huge. WiFi was solid everywhere in the hotel and on beach, turned data off and never had to switch back on. Food was excellent and varied, we used the Chinese, Italian and steak restaurant which you have to book the latter 2. Those were ok for a change of scenery, but the main buffet was excellent with a wide variety of meat, fish, fruit, pasta you name it they had it. Breakfast lunch and dinner so so good. You could get something to eat 24 hours a day here, the indoor sports bar has snacks available all day, burgers, sausage, nachos, popcorn, sandwiches. Chicken hut on beach open 12-3 daily and was beautiful, it got very busy when it opened. Jerk chicken, wedges and some other bits available. Drink, I’m not a drinker but the smoothies were excellent; my wife had cocktails and loved them, no issues with size or service. Everything plentiful. Pools, 3 pools of which we frequented one. Party pool with a bar which was the liveliest, smaller pool which had a net for sport and the other pool bar which we used and was more of the chilled option, couldn’t get us out of there! Beach is a stones throw away and beautiful, a bit of seaweed in sea but what do you expect! Some sellers on canoes in sea, slightly annoying at times but always respectful if you say no thanks they leave you alone instantly. Get on that beach between 6-7pm for some amazing photos of the sunset. Saw some fish skimming the sea which was brilliant to see. Water sports we didn’t use but the pedalos and another boat available free to use, some other paid options but nobody put the hard sell on us. Entertainment was first class so much to unpack, music, shows, bands, karaoke, silent disco, quiz almost every night and we really enjoyed it. We went to the neon party on the Friday at one of the other hotels it’s a 5 minute safe walk and that was an absolutely unreal night, it alternates with a white party every other Friday, that hotel (forgot name sorry) also had a night club 11-4am which we didn’t use. Plenty of partying available if wanted. Entertainment staff are the BEST Staff made this trip, so so many great staff here in all areas of the hotel. Never had service like this before. Honestly amazing people, thank you for such a great holiday experience. Bar staff, dining, entertainment, cleaning, everyone made us feel welcome. Gym and spa which we didn’t use, staff asked people but no pressure, at night they had photography staff (they never asked us once so we joked we weren’t young and glamorous enough 😂) Tipping we took small bills, US dollars and never ever felt under any obligation to tip but we enjoyed it and especially to those extra special staff. We tipped the maid every day left on bed and tipped every meal time, at the bars we tipped once a day usually. We took £100 of curency was around $130 dollars and got a bit more generous towards end of trip with our favorite staff but we generally tipped around $8 a day. We didn’t do any excursions but plenty on offer and I’m sure you will all know what you want to do. Shopping Centre within walking distance along with KFC and Burger King, we didn’t go but some friends went and said it had some decent souvenir shops. Probably 10 min walk max. The shop onsite wasn’t the cheapest but not too bad on some things I got 3 souvenirs for $15 but wasn’t there to really shop. They had some medical supplies I needed some hydrocortisone cream which they handily supplied and it really helped me out. My only real complaint is in the mornings early the cleaning staff were loud in the corridors with trolleys and shouting to each other a few people mentioned it that we befriended, a minor gripe but sometimes it was 6/7am and not everybody wants waking up that early. Overall the hotel isn’t massive with only 2 floors and everything is so easy to get to, we did walk along beach to see other hotels (one you can use) and they were much bigger but being smaller wasn’t a negative in anyway, always beds available by pools and beach and plenty of seating at dinner and entertainment it never felt cramped. I would 100% go back it was a fabulous holiday and hotel. Ps we had rain twice, once for half hour and then glorious sun again and once for half a day which was heavy with storms but you can’t blame the hotel!
