Good food but Poor service, we booked 3 days but we didn’t like the service received from the personel nor from the manager, and just stay 2 days, we prefer to move and pay other hotel than to receive such a bad service. Personal is not kind from all this huge resort just 2 people were nice (frontdesk and night bar attender) all the rest were not nice with visitors, I thought the Panamanians are like this but not, is this place, when we were at other hotels at the beach and the city, people were very nice and good service, and that is how I remember the Caribbean people are. I would not recommend this hotel.

Did a 4 day 3 night stay at this riu It’s like 2-4 hours drive from the city * didn’t know before hand as we wanted to do an all inclusive * Food was pretty basic Not much umbrellas on the beach The spa was good a bit overpriced but good The highlight was the swim up bar Staff was very friendly ..

Not worth it!
The beach is not good. The water is very rough and rocky. Difficult to enjoy the ocean. The food is very salty! Phone was stolen and no cameras to capture anything. I think the rooms looks. clean but aren’t. A pullout sofa was made up for my son. The day we were leaving, I lifted the cushion and pushed in the base to find his legos and there were literally trash under the base. Very dirty. This Riu is not like others I have stayed at. It is also secluded. The excursion to Monkey Island not worth it, but the one offered to the Panama Canal was very nice. If I were to visit Panama again, I would stay in Panama City instead.

Excellent Hotel, great food and great entertainment. The variaty of food for the guest is execellent, and the hotel staff is very friendly.

Aug 19, 2025Controlled eating that is not 24/7 inclusive. The worst resort that I have ever been to.
The entertainment was professional, the room had black mole on the ceiling and the ac unit. They won’t let you take food to the rooms even if you have a sick diabetic spouse needing an evening meal. The mgr Laurent wouldn’t go get fruit for me as I shook in the lobby area. I ended up passing out shortly after leaving the property. I’m an expat and I live in Panama and wanted to try out an all inclusive resort around here. DONT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE MEDICAL ISSUES!!!!!
